Is the forum broken? Direct links to post don't seem to work for me. They just go to a specific page, but not to the specific post. Anyone else having this problem?

The latest update to AdBlock causes this symptom, also breaks the 'new' links, if you use it just disable on this site

Thank you!
Yeah, Thanks Tigger.... had same here.
Most progress in 3 days.

Having a hard time... my baby is dead(desktop) /everything is fried. That was an expensive bolt of lightning.
Next time they talk about solar flares, I'm paying more attention. 1/2 the neighborhood got same.

I recall you managed to get one of your miners 802.11 bridged but you sold them.  Did you keep the bridge up and was anything isolated via bridge damaged?  Thanks.

I've been using these N300's with both of my October Jups to wi-fi enable them. No complaints.

No problem. I ordered a collection of the two shorter lengths last Wednesday. You communicated clearly in advance on this thread so I knew at the time fulfillment was waiting on a delivery. I also understand the issues with DHL (I stopped using them long ago).

That said, I can't wait for them to arrive.  Smiley  All other parts are here waiting for the risers.

Thanks again.

Using USB 3 for these... Great idea. Order just placed.

Thank you!

I decided to use bitstamp.net. I did have to go through their verification process (DL and utility bill to prove address) which took four days and the international wire took 24 hours even though they said to expect 4-5 days. Less than a week in all.

After that, I've been able to buy BTC (instantly or with limit orders) through the Bitstamp exchange with zero issues and no delays.

I was researching for several weeks and watching this thread go back and forth on Coinbase recommendations, and the really odd transaction delays (why not use same day wires instead of ACH to cure the reversibility issue?). I appreciate the postings on both sides.

I decided to use Bitstamp instead. The verification process took four days and the international wire took only 24 hours even though they said to expect 4-5 days. Less than a week in all.  I've been buying BTC (instantly) through the Bitstamp exchange ever since, which has been great during this dip in BTC value.

Thank you again.

I really appreciate the quick and informative reply.  You confirmed what I was expecting.

Thank you!

Great board.  Been reading here a while and still learning.  I just joined so it is appropriate I have to post this question here in the Newbies section...

Is it possible to use ASIC mining hardware like the Kncminer Jupiter to mine alternate coins, in addition to BTC?  If so is it limited to alt coins using SHA256 or does it require porting their mining software to support the specific ASIC hardware?

Thank you in advance!
