A lot of self airdrops nowadays are everywhere. It is a form of airdrop where you need to send 0 or a certain amount of eth in able to receive the token.
Do you think this is better than traditional Airdrop ? I wanna know your thoughts community.

For me, it has advantage and disadvantage. The advantage of doing selfdrops is, you can be able to receive the token immediately. The disadvantage of it in my opinion is, you need to spend on gas. So people that does not have anything in the first place will not be able to participate, even though gas is not that expensive a lot of people does not know yet how to load their mews using fiat, that is why for me they are at disadvantage in terms of doing self drops.

I hate to see bounty hunters beg for tokens, after working to promote a project.

Some people would say that bounty participants are given free tokens and so they feel they should not be treated well and perhaps not be paid.
Even if you do not invest your money directly into a project, you have indirectly invested money.

- The time you spend in promoting a project is much more precious than money, because time spent or wasted cannot be regained, while money can still be regained even if wasted.

- You have spent your energy and effort. As a matter of fact, there are people that sleep so late at night, just because they are trying to promote a project. Except you feel you are not honest enough.

- The electricity used, internet facilities used and other amenities used are paid for.   For instance, in my country, there is no free internet facility and i spend so much on browsing data.

All of these if looked into sometimes and the cost implication made, might be much more than the money anyone might have invested directly into a project.

Therefore, you are not to beg for tokens, you are also like any other investor, who has invested his/her money.

If your services are not needed as bounty hunters, there would not have been any token allocated for that.

The right word is claim and not beg.

We are in the final quarter of the year
Everyone should be at alert now, lots of projects will suddenly collapse, pump and dump,with plans to collect people's btc and ethereum and cash out money for the end of the year
Then they will run away and get away with funds.....

companies do these to increase their prospective  buyers  and these are done prior to  launch of ICO My take would be so long as you are getting these tokens for free or minimum investment of minuscule Ether that too in gas   you should go for them . you might collect hundreds of them  most of them would be trash but if you are lucky you might hit a jack pot for free  . Example people got DGTX and PolyMath . So go for them  accumulate as many as you can

I have observed that there are lot as lot of selfdrop tokens nowadays. Others are requiring little fees, pay for the gas, while there's also some that you can directly add to your wallet. I mean can these tokens possibly make you rich?  because some are given millions of millions of tokens and if its price goes at least $1 then congratulate yourself (if you have joined this campaign) for being an instant millionaire. But my question is why are these "ALMOST FREE TOKENS" arising all of a sudden? What could the developer benefit if they give their tokens in exchange of a little gas you pay?

Did you check the current status as government does not seems to be very supportive and also they have seized the bitcoin ATM which was recently launched by UNOCOIN. So it should not happen that you create a complete setup and then know that govt has put a ban on mining as well.
