1  Economy / Economics / Re: simple majority vs. supermajority voting on: February 26, 2018, 10:47:24 AM
In general, statements will be stated by other users (community members) about finance products,
that's why I thought of a supermajority, as users may trust the majorities knowledge.

  • At the moment it is planned to provide a kind of framework where users can create statements by simply selecting various parameters.
For example such parameters/statements may be: if you are 20 years old, you live in europe, you have an income > 3k, you might consider investing some money in insurances or funds.
  • Another approach would be to allow users texting their own statements but they need to add at least 2 answers.
E.g. Where should I invest my money in, having 2k budget?  (Answers: Cryptos, Stocks, Funds)

The voting process itself as well as the provided statement is anonymous, as long as the voting is over.
Afterwards, the results will be published, 100% transparent, knowing each user who voted and what he voted for.

The reason why I think, seeing the current state of the voting is critical, is due to the risk, that users may get biased
and community members may just vote where there is already a majority, as they receive incentives for voting for the correct answer.

2  Economy / Economics / simple majority vs. supermajority voting on: February 26, 2018, 09:37:07 AM
I am planning to develop a decentralized platform where people can simply publish statements (with preconditions),
and the community can vote if the statement might be true or false.

Although the whole planned process itself is very complex, including various incentives and stacking
approaches as well as other features, I want to keep it simple for now.

Therefore, I want to start at the beginning and ask,
what you think might be the best choice to receive high quality statements?

  • simple majority voting (50%)
  • supermajorities (55%, 60%, two-thirds)

It is very important to keep in mind, that answers of given statements, should be correct.
Wrong decisions must be kept to a minimum, as statements may further influence the platform,
and incentives may be distributed among all the ‘correct’ voters and the user who published the statement.
Additionally, there will be a quota to prevent polls with low participation.
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bounties for newbies!! on: February 23, 2018, 08:59:47 AM
Would you please provide a link where in we can read the twitter and fb account campaign rules and regulations?

As I know, each bounty campaign can arrange the rules according to their own taste.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties and airdrops on: February 22, 2018, 01:35:41 PM
Do you guys have experience in, what is the profit of an airdrop and bounty campaign for the project?

Bounty campaigns are the most effective way of marketing in my opinion.
You can get really good content from everywhere on the planet and pay with money you create new!
The dream of each marketer  Grin

But I donīt know if an airdrop helps to get forward as a project.
I never bought more from these coins I got for free with airdrops.

What do you think?
Does anybody has some facts from earlier projects?

I like ICO the most because its best ROI ever .Offcourse research is important.
For me i like to look at the circulating supply of tokens and their price.
After that i check the team and the reviews online because now you dont need to do it by yourself .
There are so many web sites which gives you good reviews of ICOs .

Which websites do you prefer?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICOs - best case scenario on: February 20, 2018, 09:51:45 AM
Hi crypto community,

2017 was the year of ICOs and projects got money where I ask myself ... WHY?!
In 2018 we will see much better ICOs than ever before in my opinion.

What would you like to see in an ICO? Or in other words ... whatīs your best case scenario?

To give you food for thought...

Project:
  • do you study the whitepaper exactly?
  • do you prefer different kinds of paper (whitepaper, yellowpaper, overview)

Token:
  • what features do you like?
  • is it important for you to use the token for payments?

Marketing:
  • where do you find the ICOs you want to invest in?
  • do you like bounty campaigns?
  • what is necessary to get your attention?

And so on... :-)

Iīm excited to read your thoughts.

Also with a small amount in crypto I think itīs worth to buy a ledger or another hard wallet.
Itīs save and you learn it from the beginning with small amounts.

Another part is to not use open networks, like wlan in the train or something else.
We all know the consequences.
