Thanks.

Hi guys ! Blackarrow has blacklisted me to put any comment on their threads... They are removing all my messages. Fucking assholes !

Everyone should put messages on their new thread to avoid people buying from them. Thanks.

Michel.

Taken from the Blackarrow forum :

"ok all this hard work has gotten somewhere, everyone who got scammed by BLACK ARROW needs to contact these people ASAP!!!!

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you as your name and contact details have been passed to Thames Valley Police who are looking into a number of complaints that have been lodged with the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau in the UK in relation to a company called Black Arrow.

I should say at the outset that there are a number of ways this matter could proceed. If it is decided that there appears to be sufficient evidence to warrant a criminal investigation then Thames Valley Police will take the matter forward though ultimately it will fall to the Crown Prosecution Service  to determine whether charges should be laid.  If Thames Valley Police consider there is insufficient evidence to investigate this as a potential criminal offence or the CPS fail to authorise criminal charges then you may wish to deal with any losses you feel you have suffered through the civil courts. Thames Valley Police will advise you in due course of the outcome of the enquiries it is currently undertaking.

In order for me to consider the matter further I should be grateful if you would let me have a response to the following:

1.       What was your understanding of the terms and conditions of the product you were purchasing from Black Arrow?

2.       Do you have a copy of these terms and conditions? If so, please scan and forward these to me.

3.       In simple terms, how did you intend using the product you purchased from Black Arrow?

I look forward to hearing from you,

Regards,

Mark

Hi everybody ! any new about the Peercoin implementation on TREZOR ? I have not seen any new information about it. Would be nice to know if it has been done, currently on development, or if nothing is currently planned.

Thanks.

Bugs are normal in the software world ! We find them by using intensively the product, inform the programmers, and wait for a fix ... Does Microsoft sell free bug products ? NO ! Does Linux work without bugs ? NO ! So... Wait for the fix, or apply the workaround !

By the way, I am currently not an owner of a Trezor, but I like the concept and will buy one very soon !

But to be honest this isn't a bug that should be in the release, right now if I get your trezor address, I can DDOS you by sending a p2sh transaction to it. That is basically a part of the bitcoin protocol and should have never been released.

I understand, but accept the fact that bugs are in the nature of each software ... I do work on encryption devices with smartcards, fingerprints, several encryption protocols... Believe me, a stupid bug can not be seen up to the moment it is discovered by some angry customer ... After that, it is a big chance you found that bug, so they will fix it ... You are the lucky guy ! Try to negociate another Trezor as per compensation Wink (and send it to me Smiley) )

cd /usr/bin/
wget http://kano-kun.net/AntS1/cgminer-ants1-4.2.0-00567a4
chmod +x cgminer-ants1-4.2.0-00567a4
mv cgminer cgminer.original
ln -s cgminer-ants1-4.2.0-00567a4 cgminer

https://github.com/kanoi/cgminer-binaries/tree/master/AntS1

kano is a good egg. Wink

I just did this, and I immediately noticed 2 things...

My temperature/fan reading has gone up from 47/44 @2100rpm to 49/45 @2280rpm.

I'm also now getting TONS of 'discarded' showing up.  I was getting 1 discard for every 8 accepted.  I'm now getting 2 discards for every 1 accepted.

Is that bad?

Hi Melech, I installed the same FW on my Ants, and as you said, the temperature increased from 4/5C leaving the S1s at 48/50C @ 2220rpm. I use them to eat my home, and I get a nice 21-22C in the whole house  Tongue Grin

15  Local / Hardware y Minería / Re: [RESUELTO] Antminer S1 y WiFi - impossible de hacer un ping. on: March 15, 2014, 04:37:12 PM
Hola, problema resuelto.

A+, Michel
17  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / [PROBLEM] Antminer / WiFi - Cant ping , nor access it. on: March 14, 2014, 08:36:57 PM
Hi ! I have an issue with my FIRST S1 and I am a little bit lost, as I don't understand why it does not work.

The S1 gets its IP through the WiFi router which is located at home, and the S1 is in a cooler place , the garage. => IP 192.168.1.101
The fixed IP of the S1 on the LAN segment with RJ-45 connector is IP 192.168.1.99

If I connect the cable between the routeur and the S1 (RJ-45), the pings on .99 and .101 are getting a reply, and work perfectly. I can acces to the configuration page on both IPs.

If I disconnect the cable, no way to get a reply from the pings done on .99 or .101 ... And of course, no way to acces the configuration page. The S1 is minng fine (test phase)... BUT I need to use the WiFi and having the option to access its configuration through a navigator.

Thanks for help and suggestions.
Michel
18  Local / Hardware y Minería / [RESUELTO] Antminer S1 y WiFi - impossible de hacer un ping. on: March 14, 2014, 08:23:19 PM
Hola Mineros !

Cordialemente, Michel

Cordialement, Michel

Hello Miners ! I have been following during several weeks the forum, and it looks very interesting. I was lucky enough to learn several things about BTC and other crypto-currencies.

As I want to experience mining, I ordered some units 2 weeks ago, and now waiting to have them dispatched at home. Currently I do mining with my laptop and his GPU !

Thanks for sharing advices and information.
Have fun !

Michel.
