If you've been hodling since the beginning of the year and haven't done any day trading, you don't have any taxes since you haven't realized profits. I think the idea here is that some of these long term hodlers may be waiting for the beginning of the year to realize their profits so the income isn't factored into their 2013 taxes when they file them in April.

Probably have better luck in mid-January when people go back for the Spring semester. I made a post in early December advertising organic synthesis service and didn't have any luck.

It's been a slow trickle down and bounce back after hitting about $840 (stamp).

I think we don't have quite the steam needed to push back up and we'll see a slow trickle back down into the low $700's or maybe high $600's.

I know it's finals week for us, as is the case in many places. I'm sure someone is looking for last minute help before their final exam.

I have extensive undergraduate experience with organic chemistry and synthesis and will be pursuing a PhD in organic synthesis next fall.
I currently work in a lab doing methodology and natural product synthesis research.

I'm not ruling that out as a possibility, but there was no basis for the crash other than misinterpretation of the news out of China. Now that people are getting straightened out on what it actually meant, and we're getting some more positive news (Paypal, hao123.com), I think things are feeling bullish.

I smell bull trap. I don't trust this level of optimism after such a quick rebound.
