I rock several different vaporizers, bongs and oil rigs.  I typically prefer a Sativa strain just because I can't get away with smoking Indicas in the morning as often without burning out in class or at work and I'm an early morning toker.  I really do enjoy Indicas too of course.  Some OG really dampens pain if I have any discomfort/injury and if I want to just relax and let my mind drift it's the perfect catalyst for that.  If I'm lucky enough to be spending some time in an isolation tank, I want lots of those CBDs.

Edibles are great too.  Of course they don't interfere with your lungs but the delayed onset makes proper dosing much trickier.  I also find that they tend to be more expensive unless you're lucky enough to have a steady supply of trim.  The high is also much stronger if you want to go deep.  I've done mushrooms half a dozen times and still never been as high as I can get off a potent brownie.  I've seen lots of people green out on brownies so again dosing is a consistent issue.  Even from dispensaries, in some cases, not every batch is equally potent.

Properly run BHO is probably my favourite.  The flavour on a decent cut is pretty much the best I've ever tasted in anything of any kind and if you drop it on a nail at the right temperature it enters the lungs as light expansive vapours.  The effect is instantaneous and it doesn't smell nearly as strong.  It's increasingly popular though so there's lots of batches out there where the butane was never fully purged from the product.  You don't want to see tonnes of bubbles in your slab or see it spark on the nail.

My daily driver is a Davinci Acent.  I set the temp to 375 deg F

3  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what should I do with 0.20247 bitcoins? on: May 03, 2014, 05:48:24 AM
hello, I am a total beginner. I have in my wallet 0.20247 bitcoins. My question is what should I do with them these days (excluding from saving it for years)?
Should I buy other digital currencies?
Should I invest in funds? if so which ones?
Should I donate?
Should I play with it in a stock market?
Any suggestion or comment would be appreciated.

thanks.

First off, do some research and decide for yourself.  If you're not inclined to do that you are best off just holding the BTC.  If you are somewhat tolerant of risk and want to spend time and effort learning about other digital currencies I suggest you open an account on Mintpal or Cryptsy in order to speculate on different alt coins.

I think the localbitcoin is a way to go with a western union thing or cash deposit?

You can use local bitcoins for cash, wire, paypal, western union, meeting the person or a number of other types of transactions.

Coins don't necessarily need to make massive innovation.  You can also create value through good branding and community.  Coins such as Mazacoin, Auroracoin and Dogecoin; for example, mostly gain momentum because they are a movement.  Also coins which are essentially some kind of store credit like Zedcoin will see limited success.

That's why I'm not too fond of the idea of "battle coins".  It will probably gain traction though.  see here:  http://bitcoinprbuzz.com/the-sha-256-interest-bearing-bitcoin-alternative-battlecoin-bcx-now-trading-on-cryptsy-com/

I've thought about this a few times.  The easiest lowest risk thing to do, I believe, is mine a CPU friendly coin like Quark coin which you can do on virtually any computer.  Alternatively you could get a USB miner but I'm not sure that increases the ROI really.  Does it?.  Neither of these make you much money but you really don't stand to lose much.  I've also heard about people mining a different coin ever couple of days (which sounds really time consuming), with GPUs.  Supposedly if you do that with a bunch of alt-coins when they come on the market, some of them should in theory produce exponential returns.  You can use coinwarz to maximize your return.  I envy people with powerful mining rigs but instead I have chosen to spend all my money on on a bitcoin atm.  Mining is a very high risk endeavour but I imagine you could always sell the hardware to gamers second hand if it really didn't work out.  I typically live in rental agreements where electricity is included so it's an enticing idea.

Bitcoin 2.0 can be used to refer to:

-Some time from now after there have been major updates & changes to the protocol which in combination with more secure, user friendly services and platform built on top of bitcoin provide a radically more useful tools that could be used for things developers have yet to have even considered that go beyond payment processing

-A new alt-coin or virtual property market that is a dramatic and obvious improvement on bitcoin

At least that's how I've seen it used on Let's Talk Bitcoin podcasts

A lot of Americans just don't seem to want free healthcare and/or like to blame Obama for everything.

The problem is that the healthcare is not free. And the tax payers are paying a huge price for it. Compare the Romneycare to the Obamacare and you'll see how better it was.

Well most countries are in debt. Is China in zero debt?

Even better. Think.

Taxpayers pay for police and army too. Why do people seem to be ok with that but not healthcare?

Americans seem to think socialism is evil. It's better and cheaper when everyone puts in and society benefits.

Not necessarily.
Can you tell your different driving habits on rented car vs driving your own car?
Can you tell difference on public bathroom usage vs your owns?
What about electricity usage of hotel room vs usage of your own house, specially A/C unit?
There are lots waste of resources on free/ low fee healthcare system. And we are ending up paying more than we have to. For low income person, this may not be noticeable. But for middle class and rich, it hurts a lot. Plus, overall quality of healthcare will degraded. *Unless* we, American, change our mindset, and the way of our lives. But I don't see it happening any time soon.

Countries with socialized medicine/healthcare tend to 1)Have better healthcare   and  2)Have relatively more efficient healthcare as there are not so many legal expenses and paper pushing by insurance companies
