B29 and B52 and T1 are shipping, however, Holiday was in the way that caused a few days of delivery delay due to the logistical issues of dealing with the Customs agencies and transport companies.

Phil's unit wise, it will be on the way, but as it was offered, after first batch are out, late March into Early April.  some of the early buyer's unit are still in transit, hopefully everyone will have the T1 by Friday, or reach your country by Friday.

We will look into preparing unit for Phil but shipping already paid customers are priority than try to prove our existence at the moment.  All resource is pointed to shipping out BTC, SIA and Decred miner at the moment.

Great thank you!

Do you expect all Sia and Decred miners shipped out by Friday too?

What worries me are the alt miners. Their outrageous claims of efficiency (and therefore profitability) strike me as, at best, false claims, and at worst as a scam. If I were a betting man I would say that we'll never see a halong altcoin miner actually in the hands of an individual.

I ordered some of the B29's within two minutes of them going active. While I was disappointed there was a delay (which I do wonder if Halong will make up for somehow -- maybe better specs?!), I did get my shipping number for that nearly 9 hours ago, and other people are reporting likewise, so it's going to be an interesting week here.

I've gotta say, their payment method options are neat. You can pay in BTC, LTC, ETH, XMR, USDT, and a few other options. I've never seen a manufacturer take so many crypto methods, this is a good thing.

I ordered some B29s but no shipping confirmation yet Sad
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain E3 Ethash Miner ASIC (Shipping:16-31 July. $800 USD) on: April 03, 2018, 05:41:45 PM
I`m not buying anything from those fuckers. Horrible shipping dates, short warranty, half the world away, third world country produces them (yes, China is still a third world country to me, all things considered)... No thanks. When those heaters become available at my computer store with a regular warranty, why not. Until then.. mmmhhmmm

edit: just checked the profitability and this box is making about 85$ profit per month, with electricity at 0.13$/kwh and current price. Way too shabby.
I agree I was looking at buying a s9 but after thinking about how bitmain runs their business using people's miners for months before shipping just long enough for them to profit mining with it than shipping I think it's about time that the crypto community stands up and say enough they've killed mining the coins they release asic for for the average person not to mention bitmain probably could shut down your miner or switch pools if they wanted to they probably also no every location of every one of those miners they sell

it's not bitmain who killed pow, it's just that no other nation has the necessary condition to compete with bitmain, remember there were a lot of western asic producers, most were so disgusting compared to bitmain... so they all died, or deliver in such small quantities that they are irrelevant to the global hash... do you know why your electricity rate is so high? ahahah... they need luxury and they want you to pay for it, as they have for centuries and generations... but when they set their eyes on looting and raping china a few hundred years ago, I am certain, that they believed they could win easily... how wrong they have been proven... and you see no friends of david rockfeller has been executed before a wall... look at what clinton did as secretary of state... in china she would have been executed asap and a lot of her team... in usa? they get pensions... what else to say?

Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

*when that weed hits you a little too strong*

It's all the new DragonMint B52 Blake2b miners being "tested". Personally I don't believe this burn-in/testing phase.

I think the coins used to test your products should be returned back to the customers. Or they should test in a separate environment.

It's not fair that we order the items, they "test them" for months, destroy the difficulty and profits, and then hand them over. I feel like should be illegal in some way.

Holy sh*t.

The difficulty for sia coin is just skyrocketing...

I'm making 11,000-12,000 Sia coins / day with 19-20 A3 miners. I was making 1,700 sia coins a day on just 1 not even 3 weeks ago.

What a disaster. I don't know what to do...feeling really down. Yeah yeah, I made a bad decision and need to live with it. Just sucks.

The one I plugged in is running at 15.5 THs and pulling around 1570 watts. See photos below...

[...]

Thanks for the photos!

What does it mean to have that many HW errors that soon after plug in?

Well it would be really easy to test that there is Asic boost  If I had  a sample.

They posted that ALL March batch miners went out yesterday (see MyRig twitter). How could you not have received a DHL confirmation?

Has anybody here bought and/or received this asic from Halong? I figure with these units SET to ship this week, it could finally end "Dragonmint is a scam" debate...
I bought 1 of these and they sent everyone an email that bought one that shipping was delayed due to holiday shipping. They were pushed back to April 3-4th shipping.

Now MyRig is posting that something is wrong with the circuit boards. Will probably use this to make an excuse for additional delays while they mine more coins. 😣

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Please help - HVAC guy confusing me! on: March 22, 2018, 07:58:17 PM
So I'm building out a room in my basement to house 20-25 ASICs. The room is 10w x 11 x 7h. It's insulated and keeps the noise at bay pretty well.

However, my HVAC guy is just not getting it and is really making me upset. He convinced me to buy (2) 14,000 BTU AC units and installed a 450 CFM inline exhaust fan (no intake fan) with tubing going out the house. I told him upfront I needed at least 4,000 CFMs going in and out but he insists that the 28,000 portable AC units will compensate for the 60,000 BTUs of heat. To make things worse, after I told him what I wanted, he went ahead and got the 450 CFM fan and didn't tell me until AFTER he installs it that he thinks this will be enough. He hasn't once quoted me for labor, cots, etc. I'm so pissed off to say the least.

My question is: how should I handle this HVAC guy? I need him to do the work b/c it's too late to switch but should I take the AC units back and just install the high powered intake and exhaust fans? My biggest concern is the humidity in the summer time as it gets well above 95% humidity during spring and summer here (in Midwest). He says the AC units will help with humidity so that's why I'm tempted to keep them for those humid days.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite FPGA/ASIC miner on: March 15, 2018, 06:56:12 PM
Now bitmain is out with there new X3 miner

It is just sad to see, how the coins that were mined with GPUs and CPUs for years will now be mined with ASICs Sad. I really hope Cryptonight algo hard fork will make CN ASICs useless.

Guys - Ascis are the future. Why is this even a discussion? Technology advances and becomes faster and more efficient.

It sucks if you have a lot of money invested into GPU but the fact is that this is what we'll be using going forward.

You're welcome to think otherwise but the facts remain.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer X3 -- 220KH+ Cryponight - 550W on: March 15, 2018, 05:18:24 PM
Bitmain wants to own all coins . he is destroying all the ecosystem . FUCK HIM .

where is the decentralize if one company and one man own every thing !!

Have you all forget the The Antbleed Backdoor ... with 51% attack or even an undiscovered backdoor , he can ruin all coins .

WE MUST FUCK BITMAIN THIS TIME AND NEVER ALLOW ( one individual ) to control the future

crypto is the future for humanity and Bitmain want to own our future  .  we are getting away from Banks and now we are getting manipulated by Bitmain ..

FUCK YOU BITMAIN

Deep breath...
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer A3 now! on: March 15, 2018, 04:40:00 PM
Bad idea !!
Halong Miner will release 3830 Ghs with similar power with A3. So difficulty will to the moon first before you can get break even with it. BUT Halong Miner is a new comer, I wont buy it before I see review from senior user ID here..

If you can do it, I'd get an Antminer at $1,000. If they have any more I'll take some Smiley
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer X3 -- 220KH+ Cryponight - 550W on: March 15, 2018, 04:38:34 PM
CARE DONT BUY THIS!!!
or any other asic for coins most of the valuable ones will imho hard fork this month and all the people will be stuck with a coin that jihan will only use something like BitcoinTrash!

i will only say one think D3 antminer! Smiley

I think Bitmain probably is not expecting to sell many of these and that's why they "limited" buying to 1 per customer.

My bet is so they can protect their customers from making idiotic decisions and buying $50k woth of these and then not ROI'ing.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer X3 -- 220KH+ Cryponight - 550W on: March 15, 2018, 11:22:07 AM
Holly fuck! 220KH/s at 550W! That's really answering the skyrocketed diff in the recent months.

This garbage will be dead on arrival. Dont buy this!
Most the CN based algo will be switch to V7 (on about 2 weeks or so). Lets give XMR dev do the job first, then the rest CN based coin will just pull, merge and push the code.

This Bitmain and Baikal guys really mean to us. Cannot just believe they thinks that we are so dumb!  Grin
This garbage just sitting in their farm for at least 4 months. When the news about V7 is coming, then they just cleaning it up, make it shiny and dump it to those greed and dumb out there. Lets be logical, do you believe that Bitmain and Baikal will open this mining bastard to the public while they can still make a BIG profit and keep it under their wrap?

This is a stupid release...obviously a fight to knock out the comp. wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot stick

Also - ASIC manufacturing needs shorter lead times. Two months plus shipping is WAYYYY too long to be paying upfront. They need to ship these within 7-10 days.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer A3 earning $500 a day mining SIAcoin . .WHAT?! Results & Stats on: March 14, 2018, 09:40:45 PM
After questioning halong mining's validity in my last video a member of their staff messaged me assuring me they were real and yoshi goto is to be trusted. I asked for pictures of miners and he said I will have to wait until customers receive their machines soooo. . vaporware?

I don't think it's vaporware. Yoshi has had a good career at Bitmain. He wouldn't risk his reputation on vaporware.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too but it's just such a weird business practice. . . to not even show ONE true version of their miner

We should know for sure soon - they promised PhillipMa1957 a review unit and it's supposedly been shipped.

Mine are supposedly shipping as early as next week
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A3 Hashing Issue? on: March 14, 2018, 12:33:17 PM
Hi All,

Really need some help. I bought a antminer A3 off e-bay and the previous owner overclocked it. I've been running it off 110v for the past few days until I had 220v installed in my house yesterday. A couple of times since I've been running it, I noticed that the hashing would go down on certain boards and then go back up...and it cycled through the boards like this (going up and going down). Once I got xxx's across board 2 but, when I restarted the A3, they went away and things were working again like normal. Until this morning...

The A3 kept cycling through again (board 1 would go down to like 5/gh/s and then go back up, and then board 2 would go down while board one went up, then board 3...and so on). One board started showing 1-2 x's and then they all went to x's. But then within 2-3 minutes the x's went away. But it was still cycling through going up and down on hash rate. Since I have Awesome Miner I tried to reset it a couple of times remotely and I even restored it to factory settings. At first, it kept cycling through like I mentioned above but then, all of the sudden it started working again (up to 825 gh/s). And it's held speed that for a while.

All temps are OK - it's all very cool right now.

Any idea what would cause this? Is it a PSU issue or board issue?

first off this is an alt coin question.

may be connection to the pool issue  hard to tell.

what did you pay for it?

$2,000

It's working now...I think it was on SiaCoin side.

Also, restoring to factory settings unclocks it, right? I was enjoying the extra gains but it makes me nervous running it at such high speeds (it was getting 900+GH/S).
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] Bitmain Announces Antminer A3 on: March 14, 2018, 12:17:48 PM
It seems to be bac, I found in the antminer web interface that diff was 1024 instead of 512 when it didn't work.

Yep, working now. So strange...
