Whales flooding the market to buy more coins at a lower price it's about to even out or go back up as we soeak yes its pretty clear cristal : a whales are putting a sell whale of 120 BTC at 0.00309000 on bittrex and a buy whale of 22BTC at 0.00305401 so they can buy cheap at 0.003 level. The price will skyrocket soon. so hold do not get eaten by whales  |

Ive been pro XZC for so long, but then again in this bull crypto market you cant just wait for that one special coin.... the gains are made elsewhere right now...
I have been in and out of xzc a couple times now... im getting in again as we move towards mtp... But really the dev team should try to get some marketing going, and fight their way into Poloniex and Coinbase if any hodlers of Zcoin want to see some ROI this year...
You cant blame people for investing elsewhere if the Zcoin youtube channel hasnt produced a single activity for months in a row.... Marketing is also part of the equation, not just the development.... Zcoin really sucks at this and it speaks of their all round competence, or rather lack thereof...
Meanwhile Zcash is more than $200 per coin...SMH.... you cant deny thats a loss for Zcoin... its like you have an amazing football team that gets no exposure, nobody knows they exist... so no money for the team to invest in a better training complex, gear etc.. and therefor the Team still plays third division on saturday afternoon... And you believe they will suddenly rise up and win the champions league after August...? you are dreaming....
Great news came and passed on both the MTP and the Ethereum integration... Still no marketing, barely any info coming from devs... its bad play honestly... still i believe in the tech superiority and thus for a better future.
Zcoin devs wake up a little and start announcing what you are developing... it will be better for all that support you! Good Luck!
a well comment sir  it's like what i want to said too, so i will just quote, so it can be read by more people anyway for me i think wont get more coin for now, though i dont have any intention to sell my coin, will wait hope it's turn 0.1 btc in the future seriously dev should hear community more often than now, i also believe MTP are a great feature for cryptocurrency, but in time developer focus all it's resource to build MTP , many little aspect are crumbling and thats why zcoin get low price from day to day I agree with you guys. Dev should interact with the community in a daily basis, if MTP did not go on public test in June i think this coin will go down under 0.0004 BTC. |

how can a clone of Zcash without any innovation (Zclassic now is traded for 9.60$ each ZCL) outperform Zcoin which is an original implementation ?

My opinion. Zclassic is a pump, seriously. The entire reason that Zclassic exists is because they don't like giving developers money. And now they are making zencoin or whatever so that they can put the tax back. So just ignore Zclassic, it's basically another Litecoin. It might make a billion dollars on the back of no fundamentals, but that's because of the bubble we are in. What you should be asking is why is zerocoin not worth as much as zcash? I am researching this to decide if I should up my zerocoin investment. My issues so far: 1. The zerocoin project has a very limited team.I can one relevant professional with a Masters on their webpage. Sure you don't need qualifications, but not everyone is a Vitalik, so the qualifications helps. I see no cryptographers or scientists on their team and I think that isn't a good sign. I can see liaisons and front end dev. The founder is the only one with serious clout. (Poramin Insom) With the 20% tax I'd hope to see that powering a world class team like what Zcash have on board. ( https://z.cash/team.html) 2. The bug.This still makes up a massive amount of the coin supply and will suppress prices for a long time. It's free money for the attacker forever. The problem here is that the code had the bug and it is apparent why, the team has one guy that knows enough to check over the whole lot. At least with your competitor zcash they have a huge amount of people responsible for verifying the conditions. 3. The tax.I think considering that the zerocoin team is not on the same level as the zcash team it would have made more sense to make the tax less (unless they are going to utilize more professionals.) Just my opinion. What an enormous team ! we can say Zcash is a university Coin :-) But i think that Zcoin is better even with a small Team, Poramin alone can be better than 200 university Theorist. |

For those who followed me.
This morning, the order bok is in a completely different configuration: I doubt that there is again a big margin of decrease (several orders of purchases with volume).
Now, whenever the dev is given good news about MTP or XZC is admitted to Poloniex, the possibilities of violent rebound are strong in the short term.
Moreover, Bitcoin has just seen a sharp rise and it is likely that it stabilizes or decreases slightly, so the alts had to go up in the next 2 or 3 days.

What volume are you talking about, the market is the same and if someone dumps the equivalent of 40 BTCs of XZC the price will fall under 0.00007587 BTC per XZC. My point of view is that Bittrex market is used by miners to sell the buy orders are in BTC38, there where real investors put their money |

the bitcoin´s price keeps going up but the zcoin value in satoshis and dollar keeps going down... why  Read that I wrote a few posts higher (detailled analysis). No buyers in the order book since many time... and a lot of sellers. Sellers are selling, even at low price, but they can sold only if buyers at presents, and they are not. can the price fall under 0.004 BTC ??!! |

Guys, anyone tried to mini zoin solo, via wallet? I set generation true, set 4 cpus, but there is very small hashrate, and i dont even know, if ill get anything with that kind of mining..
Very hard to find a block in solo mining mode unless you have at least 10KH/S or equivalent of 10 servers X1 Amazon AWS witch cost 1000 USD/Month Each Zoin is now very cheap even at 10000 satoshi per ZOI. |

I think that this is not a premine yo.. No Premine Not a clone of Zerocoin because this coin has been launched far away before zerocoin. This has been forked from Zcoin XZC. |

21 millions. It would be around 12 millions after the first 6 months. This is not true, this coins source is based on XZC's source where a big error in the code allowed "hackers" to create an arbitrary number of coins for themselves using malicious zerospend transactions. https://zcoin.io/zcoins-zerocoin-bug-explained-in-detail/You can't really tell how much coins where maliciously generated, until you do some investigations with the block explorer but probably a lot I don't read code but the exploit has since been fixed on 28th March release right? https://github.com/zoincoin/zoin/releasesAt time of bug, ZOIN was 'dead' with a CAP of a few thousand so it's less likely it was exploited than Zcoin & Zcoin now has a valuation of $15 million despite that. Myself used Zoin to test the exploit actually because it wasn't fixed and if you check the block explorer, or rather the log files of the daemon you see lots of zero transactions (coinspends) before suddenly someone 'fixed' it by disabling the zeromints at all. The 'half dead' state was actually the best thing to happen for exploiters as you could test everything possible with very low difficulty and no one sniffing in the logs Okay, crypto is a gamble and you should never invest what you can't afford to lose, I wish you all the best with this coin I just wanted to point out (again, if you check back my posts in this thread) that there is at least some caution needed when playing with this coin. @Ocminer can you please reopen the Zoin Pool ? You don't like mine?( No that is not the point : i like your pool it is professional and the support is great but to anticipate the problem of 51% attack we should consider to have multiple good Pool running. |

Thanks Caution Tradesatoshi.com is not a serious exchange : a lot of wallet in maintenance unclipping Zcoin wallet if you buy some XZC at tradesatoshi you can not withdraw them i have experienced that before. the only solution a got is to loose some btcs and sell al XZC cheap to withdraw BTC. |
