jkpool get 3% commision. It's too high. Will wait for official ZOIN pool. I hope it will be great with low fees and fast connection

A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

You have not looked at this project at all LOL. New team just picked up the project 2-3 months ago or so and are already doing a lot. mac and windows wallets are nearly complete and they are completely redesigned and look amazing.

Is there any mining/profitability calculator for Zoin? I want to calculate if mining will be a profitable endeavor, but has found nothing. Undecided

Profitability varies from day to day with the Network Hashrate, currently its just below 5MH/s two weeks ago it was 2.5MH/s, also coin price is also not settled yet, with such variables its hard to calculate daily profits and even harder to speculate a months income...

Also don't forget we are closing in on block number 210000. With it the mining reward will split - from 50 to 25. This is to happen in a months time.

From my current calculations 1kH/s should give you around 6-8 coins per day.

It looks like hashrate depends much on memory bandwidth.
Systems with DDR4 have higher hashrate than DDR3.
Systems with dual channel memory has higher hashrate and systems with one memory channel.
CPU Clock frequency and number of threads does not seem to matter as much as memory speed.
So a low power CPU with many channels of fast DDR4 memory may be profitable?
