I keep getting this error when trying to place a limit order..
order has execinst of participate don't initiate
what does this mean??

this was probably mentioned in one of the other 2135 pages, but what does Hash Rate:4.48/4.67THs mean? I know obviously what a HR is but there are two numbers..

Are those breakout boards linked together? Not sure about parallels break out boards but other setups that are similar to this such as a 750w + 1200w psu can be used to power an S9. No need to link the breakout boards. I use the 750w for the control board and one hashboard and the 1200w for the other 2 hashboards. This sounds weird but the correct way to fire it up is to turn the 750w on first and then quickly following turn the 1200w on next.
Either way If both these psu's are 750w and you are running on 110v I would say thats not enough, your stressing the psus to much. They might be able to do it on 200+volt but even then I would recommended (2) 800watts or like I said a 750 and 1200.
Hopefully you get it sorted out and no damage to the machine occurs.
The BOB's were linked together (only 2 boards powered) and it went into a red fault. Then I tried only powering 2 hash boards with the bob's not linked and I got a dimmed digital readout on the 1 bob and then the one psu failed. Just curious, if you have 2 psu's powering 3 boards, and the PSU failed that is connected to the control board, what will happen to the S9, any damage?

One of the PSU's was bad. Actually in was one of the break out board's that was bad..

The S9i runs fine on one hash board, I tested both PSU's. When I power two, this time instead of getting the red fault light and fans slow down. I get one of the PSU breakout boards blinking, i.e., the digital voltage readout blinks, also the PSU green LED blinks.

I tried running the S9i on two hash boards only and it's starts up. However after about 3 minutes the red fault light comes on, the fans ramp down, and then after a minute it starts this cycle again.
I am going to get a PSU for 220, but do you think it is a power issue or maybe the miner?

This software comes with a small built-in fee of 1,9%. the Miner will mine in the first 4 Minutes for our fee. Then it will mine for 200 Minutes on your pools and will continue from there.
This is equivalent of ~ 1.96 % of the Mining time. (4/204)
Um, yeah no thanks...

To be clear there will be a paper as well. But let's say the gov raids your house and takes your paper with 24 words, that's it....bye-bye. But if they raided your house and took the 12 word seed, you can still have this in your head with a passphrase. In my opinion the only way to be secure from seizure of your funds is to memorize the seed. With 12 words it's much easier. This is why I need to generate the 12 words.
Thats a horrible idea. Even if you are going to memorize the 12 words, without a proper backup this is just careless. There are a lot of things which can happen which lead to a loss of your memory (e.g. car accident, alzheimer, trauma, shock moment, ...). Your whole cryptos would be gone in this case. A proper backup (better: 2 or 3) is a must have. I am sure someone can help with this. Explain it to me, I understand I may need to purchase an offline laptop which is ok.
There are a lot of ways to generate a random number. In the end thats all you need. The easiest (and one of the safest) way would probably be to boot a linux distro (offline) and do some stuff (so the internal entropy pool gets filled), then get a 256 bit number from dev/urandom (don't use dev/random!) and convert it manually to a 12 word seed (with the BIP39 word list). You will need to calculate the last bits of the last word (since they are basically a checksum). For more information take a look at https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0039.mediawiki and https://github.com/trezor/python-mnemonic.

What is the most secure way to generate a 12 word seed for a hardware wallet. I would like to also add a passphrase.
Usually, it's best to just use whatever procedure the hardware vendor suggests... The brain is a terrible source of entropy, so whatever method you're using not suggested by the vendor, it's usually worse than just following the proper procedure. This does not mean there aren't good ways to create a 12 word seed yourself, but usually your own methods aren't more secure than the recommanded methods anyway (imho) The hardware wallet I want to purchase can only generate 24 by default. In my opinion the only way to be secure from seizure of your funds is to memorize the seed. With 12 words it's much easier. This is why I need to generate the 12 words. I am sure someone can help with this. Explain it to me, I understand I may need to purchase an offline laptop which is ok.

You shouldn't worry about it - ideas are plentiful, it's the execution that matters!

Not sure where this one will go. But with all of the hustle and bustle, it's nice that they airdrop every Wednesday 1,000,000 token to you. It can only be traded/sold/bought on Wednesday UTC time. I won't say how many I have acquired but it's a lot of fun. http://wednesdaycoin.iohttp://wednesdaycoin.io/#waitlistFree coins today, and every Wednesday.

Yesterday I read a post about investor who put about 120k $ into crypto (mostly into NANO) buying at all time high but due to price decline and hacked exchange lost his savings. That gave me an idea of doing a poll about investor behavior, for example how much money do you put in crypto on a monthly basis, what`s your best source of information, do you read whitepapers and doing own analysis or just rushing for a quick buck, where do you store your crypto etc.
How do you feel about it? Would you be willing to fill it so we could map an individual crypto investor and see what are his goals, how he reacts and what does it all mean to him? Cause I see that all warnings and statements are still not heard by many.
Write questions that you consider relevant, I will combine it with mine, make a poll and present results.
I have a pretty complicated investment profile. Beginning of the month > Bills paid > wife happy > buy crypto
