How long it it suppose to take to get money deposited? The old system was much better. You rent a rig send the fund done, none of this depositing funds nonsense.

Is there a reason payouts are taking so long?
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3+ Discussion and Support Thread on: February 16, 2015, 03:24:59 PM
please create a ticket at http://bitmain.zendesk.com  (top right)

or email a support request to support @ bitmain . zendesk . com

If support staffs are online, you may request to chat, too.

https://v2.zopim.com/widget/livechat.html?key=2ZaJsbRPVUUFCqOE8MmgXgbFFdNYxOBP

warranty is 90 days from purchase date. (Bitmaintech.com or Amazon seller "Bitmain")  If you purchased it from else where, please email the proof of purchase in the ticket.

you can try updating the firmware to the most recent January one but before you do that, please power off your S3+ and let it sit for 10-15 minutes and power it back on.  If the xx goes away.  Often time, a few X's on the ASIC status comes from teh firmware bugs.  But your hashing speed is low, too, so the problems could be on the hashing PCB.

What is the warranty on the S3+. I have one showing:

oooooooo oooooooo
---ooooo oooooooo

And only getting speeds of about 400.

Thanks for the info, but I'm past 90 days on it.

Do we have any idea on long the site is doing to be down?

No, it's not a forum Tongue
It's an account that gives the ability to direct large sums of money to bitcoin addresses - which of course if a payout is made it is irreversible.

Check your bank's timeout. There's a reason they don't make it very long either Smiley

I don't mind putting it up to 1hr, but certainly no more.

You are correct.  I missed the implications.  We use 20 minutes where I work, and our customers complain about it all the time, but that's what we're told we have to set it to.

Thanks.

M

It would we really easy to add an option for us to pick if we want to stay logged in or not. You need a password to change the address and if someone has your password, well it doesn't really matter how long or short session ends.

My hashrate stabilized to correct ghs after the first 6 hours. All looks great.

I do have something for the suggestion box(or I may be doing something wrong) we need some type of cookie or something for the dashboard so I don't have to keep putting my username and password in every time I want to check my stats. I use android only(other than pi's) and made a shortcut like I do with my other pools, but still have to log in ckpool almost every time.
Yeah it's a php session timeout - on the server I've got it at the php/apache default of 24 minutes.
If you access the web page less than 24 minutes between each time, the php session in the browser should still be alive.
I see that happen all the time myself also, but don't think it's a good idea to have it much longer.

I can extend the session time to 1hr if no one has any objections, but I'm not really keen to have it much longer.

No real reason to be so short most polls leave you logged in for 24 hours.

Can you mine here with rented hash from westhash?
I don't see why it would be an issue if the poster below you was able to rent hashrate for the pool on another site.

I've rented from betarigs without issues, but when I tried westhash I get this error "Remote pool extranonce size too big". There are times when westhash cost a lot less to rent from...

Just wondering if I'm the only one that can't get on the site...?

I'm in the UK and am getting a 525 SSL error from cloudflare...

Can't get there here in the US either...

The PPNLS Shift history is missing closed shifts (at least in my browser):

It doesn't effect payouts but thought I'd mention it.

We didn't get paid for those, no blocks found...
14  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Slush Reward on: September 22, 2014, 07:20:08 PM
You only earn then a block is found. Look at the stats page to see the last time a block has been found.
15  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: September 18, 2014, 02:03:31 PM
Is it better to run your own node or use a public one? When using a pubic one does it matter which one you use? Also, with an S3+ do I need to change the diff?

p2pool was intended to be run locally, it is almost always better to run your own node.

If you want to try the pool out, try to find a node close to you.

Ours is US East coast: http://minefast.coincadence.com

Is the front end you are running on your node available to us to use on our own nodes? thx

Just saw that there is a S3-B10 (no price) at Bitmain

Cheers

Yea B9 is sold out for the S3+.

Im wouldn't be surprised if they push the delivery out a ways to drive sales to the new S4.

Were setting up our B8 units right now, working great!

Strato

Do they have replacement units? One of my new S3+, that is less then 24 hours old, started smoking today. Does anyone know how Bitmain is on replacement units? I emailed them, but haven't heard back yet.

Sure it isn't just new electronics smell, possibly flux or flux cleaner burning off heating components?  My first S3 did give that and runs well.  My second didn't and doesn't.  Neither of my two new S3+'s gave off that smell but run well.  So, is it actual smoke or a hot electronics smell?  How are the unit's stats?

It sparked and started smoking. Here is one I have on p2pool http://minefast.coincadence.com/miner.php?id=1C4wVJynkMcD68b2dvpCAo9XCKtAWDpfF5...

Did we missed this info, or is this the first we are hearing this???

These problems were indeed mentioned on post #76 and #79 of the share information thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=491659.60
However, it was not quite clear what caused that in the first place.

I see, I've been only watching threads of the group buys...

Fine print was y'all was supposed to all pay hosting fees if the BTC earnings didn't cover it.  Very very few did, so it put us in a bad predicament. Plus the DC fucked us over, turned everything off, fired my partner.  Then held all the gear hostage, we spent $3k with a lawyer to get it out.  At that point we had a BTC offer for all the ASIC gear from a private investor, and nowhere to power it so we liquidated it out and bought back the shares.  Per the contract, the failure to pay hosting should have resulted in a forfeiture, but we did better than that and bought out at market value of the ANTs for QTY on hand.

Investor didn't want the VGA cards so they are just sitting here.  Had I not paid for the lawyer there would have been 0 returned.  We aren't done with the legal predicament here, so I think its plenty fair that the sale of that hardware help cover our operating losses first. But theres really no market for VGA right now so I just have a big credit card bill.

Yeah it sucks when things don't work out and the market goes the wrong way; I totally put my heart into this effort and more work than you could ever imagine and now have 1/4 the number of bitcoin I started with.

We are letting those that redeemed for hardware (meeting their obligations) from this group buy participate in the bonus group buy. We'll also consider letting those that took the buyback participate (on a limited case-by-case basis) if they return the buyback btc.

Thanks for your answer. I lacked this information, it does seem more fair now.
Good luck on your next projects.
