Most crypto traders make use of centralized trading platforms, like Binance, Bitmex, Poloniex, Bittrex etc… The hype around these platforms made it appear to most guys in the cryptospace as the only available option, very small percentage of the crypto traders population have an idea on how decentralized trading platforms works.
Obviously centralized trading platforms are easy to use and all that! , but that’s not the best the technology can offer, I believe the future lies in decentralization, with that we can achieve “maximum” security. Personally i trade on a decentralized platform, because i got tired of the issues surrounding the centralized systems.
Trading on any exchange involves huge risks. It does not matter whether the exchange is regulated or decentralized, although the latter does not exist. Exchanges are needed to conclude transactions, safe you money on cold wallets. This is the only way out. I disagree here. Decentralized exchanges where they store your funds on the blockchain and are open for all to see are ideal I believe. I came across a project called Blockchain Board of Derivatives (BBOD) that does just that. Centralized matching engine paired with a decentralized custody. I think this is a killer combination. Another killer combination is owing part of said project and advertising it as a viable option, while talking about it as completely unrelated to you

Spippet taken from the BCTalk rules --
1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads. [1][e]
-- 1. Such posts like "SELL SELL SELL", "I agree", "+1", "Support", "Watching", "Interesting", "LOL", "SCAM", "LEGIT", "FAKE", other one word posts, posts consisting mostly of swearing, quote pyramids, useless introduction threads, threads about a topic already recently discussed in several other threads. --
Someone probably saw your post history/was offended by you and reported you. Being a newbie who posted a one-word reply doesn't help when Mods are getting hundreds of reports per day

Wow, its been like an year since I've actively posted here when the BTC price was going up from 1k and this topic is still being beaten like a dead horse. They're not going to change it, they didn't do it when it hit $100 first, neither when it crossed $1000 nor did they do it on the 20k. Being a donator just shows you are/were a kind of a big deal around here

People paying for good reviews is so commonplace that I can't see why doing the opposite, and that too for a non-BTC related business would be worthy of a neg

Don't download it. He is trying to make you download a word file. Its not infected itself but if you click "enable content" you are allowing the use of macros (programmable scripts) and thus for potentially giving away access of your computer to attacker.
Yeah someone should probably contact one of the DT members about this

I also see this a major advantage of bitcoin over other crypto currencies. As bitcoin are becoming known to many countries around the globe and is acceptable to them, so it became more easy for travelers to get rid of all the workings that they have to deal with when they needed to change their currency into that country’s currency in which they are going. I think Bitcoin are going to be the international standard for currency.
Not while a single transaction takes 2-3 dollars and while there are strain attacks on the BTC network and you still have to wait for more than a day to get the tx through

Math itself says that you will lose 1% of what you're betting(in most sites as they have 1% edge), no matter what strat you are using, in the long run. So no, there is no surefire way to know if you'll win or lose the next bet. The best thing would be to not gamble at all, as you would still be at 0% win or loss, with the second best way being withdrawing while you're ahead.

The slow speed of transactions if you don't want to pay much in transactions. Been waiting for a transaction to pass for more than 5 days , would've been done in hours if I increased the tx fee by a dollar or so

With your post history I can only say that you're likely a troll or you are posting this just to up your post count. If not(pretty unlikely) , list what the user above has said and there should be plenty of people who can help you through the process. You'll have to provide more details such as 1. Name of Wallet 2. Operating System 3. What Exchange are you trying to send them to 4. Were you able to find the public address associated with the wallet to send to the exchange

ITT: People begging for bits, because they made stupid decisions and wasted their money. I mean I don't want to be cynical here but(and its a big butt): Trust is an important ingredient, so I think Game-Protect ( https://game-protect.com/donate/) deserves some help to continue the fight and to help players to recover their funds from various gambling platforms which are scamming players and running illegal activities. Shameless self-promotion... I think you should donate to pinkman He teaches people about solidity, personally if i had bitcoins then i would had donated him as he is the guy who's tutorial made me getting my first ever smart contract developed by myself. Even his tutorials are free for the community if you want to learn. Here is his thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2407644.0His language is too easy to pick up, he is even a big redditor as per his comment karma and other often active in crypto. shoutout to Pinkman and Dean. Seems rich enough if he can afford to create a crypto maybe to Tor project for giving people back their right of privacy.
To be fair the project has government funding and AFAIK the whole thing was built to make law enforcement officers anonymous, so the funding is not going away anytime soon. with 25 bitcoin you can buy ticket to Africa and make many childran happy
Looks good on paper but.... I can't complete this statement without coming across as racist/privileged. Pretty sure others will shamelessly plug themselves/someone they know. As a random guy in reddit once said to someone doing a similar thing it would be best to invest a bit in someone who offers charity research for a low fee and then send it in parts to ones you think are best.

You started this topic on a Bitcoin forum... with the increasing prices, people here are hyper-positive about it.
As for its uses that RL currencies don't have, well there's like 1000s of posts/articles written about it. But the one I can commend BTC or any other crypto is that its anonymous, (is supposed to be) fast and secure.
Edit: Also, ref-links aren't really allowed on the forum outside of signatures... just something to keep in mind.

Why have two forum for each site, when essentially they are supported by the same group of people(PD)? Wouldn't it be better to have a section in the PD forum labelled "Stake"?
Also, might be better to post the rules here too.

they have set the minimum of 0.01 btc, that is to say that the value of 0.01btc is independent if bitcoin goes up or down, you can not ask them to open an exception and allow you to withdraw your 0.003btc.
At 10 bucks for 0.01, perhaps it made sense. But at 150 bucks as min withdrawal, and still no change in min withdrawal, it doesn't seem fair. Pretty much everyone has adapted to the prices, sig campaigns, BCTtalk ads, min amount you can trade for other currencies etc. , I don't see why they haven't adapted yet. It should really be written on the deposit page too that you can't withdraw until you have at least 0.01 BTC, I don't think I'm the only one who has made this mistake of putting BTCs in cex and essentially been locked out of my funds. Thanks for the reply.

Has anyone here used cex.io for amounts lower than 0.01? I deposited a bit(0.003) quite a while back when BTC was around 1k. Found out you couldn't withdraw it as the min. withdrawal limit was 0.01 BTC. At that that it wasn't that much of a big deal(as its value was around 3 bucks). But now its nearly 40 dollars and they still haven't changed it. I don't have any extra funds at the moment and can't really drop 150 bucks on it just to get the amount out.
Does anyone know if support can issue a manual withdrawal? I've tried contacting support, haven't gotten any reply yet.

You should likely contact one of these three:
1) Lutpin 2) Lauda 3) yahoo62278
They are the most trusted/used sig managers and have also AFAIK done some bounty management.
|
|
|
You can find people willing to advertise your sig. a dime a dozen, just make a thread about it in the Service board and add users according to your budget. Even quality posters are plenty these days, you're better off finding people with high ranks or positive trust to advertise your site
