1  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Simran's BTC-e USD codes to PayPal service on: January 07, 2014, 05:35:59 AM
up until recently there was a like to here on the btc-e site to here >  https://24change.com/step2?from=BTCE&to=PP

but they now charge 5% as well

This is a better site https://ukrcash.com/order 2% fee.  I can do 1:1 looking to find someone who I can from a business partnership I need BTC-E codes ASAP willing to provide driver licence over skype on webcam or any other documents to build trust. Cheers.

Please create your own thread for your service rather than posting in my service thread. Thank you.

Sorry, I apologise. It won't happen again. I do silly things when I am trying to find someone who I can conduct business with.

I'm all ears when you decide to implement a system of selling of btc-e on your website. I'll be your frequent customer.

I'm already developing a secure system to do so. Smiley

Awesome! I can't wait. How long will it be until it's up and functional? And what would the fees be? Thanks and I can't state enough how excited I am to hear this. Please don't go overboard with the fees.
2  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining resets? on: January 05, 2014, 01:15:35 AM
Thanks for the reply could you elaborate? So I have to start from the beginning?

Say It take 2 hours to achieve a block but I mine for 1 hour and then shutdown my computer do I have to wait another 2 hours to mine a block again or only an hour?

I would have to wait another 2 hours?

Hairy, the smallest quantized unit of work is a share.  You submit a few to hundreds every minute.  If you shut down at any time you only lose a very small amount of work - almost unmeasureable unless you start/stop your miner every 20 seconds or something stupid like that.

No single person starting off is aiming for blocks (only solo miners who have massive farms and you would know if you were one).

Just keep doing what you're doing and mine when you can.

That was a lot more comprehensive than the other reply I got and I understand now from you explanation. I appreciate your time to compose that message. I don't have much in my wallet but I sent you .0015 BTC https://blockchain.info/tx/d443c3caab8e07af553524c50577821149c8e7d8159e7dba8018e0057659a5e3. Just wondering how did you create drg after your address? Thanks again for the help.

Bump still looking to trade with someone I can offer you a 1:1 ratio.

Cheers.
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: "hairycoins" Likely Scamer!! on: January 04, 2014, 04:40:09 PM
You are being paranoid, Why accuse me of something I have not done and would never do. All I was doing was enquiring if you were selling BTC-E codes. Don't just blatantly accuse someone without actual evidence. Now why did I PM you because of this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=391431.0 you wrote I quote " bookmarked" and that sounds like you had some btc-e codes that you might want to sell. Sorry for being friendly. I'll have to realise that their are childish people on the forums.

Please read this before you make accusations https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0

I appolgise, the pm seemed very off, and out of place so it appeared as a scam, I'll retract my comments.

That is okay. I wrote that because when you called me a scammer it infuriated me because I would never steep that low and it's inconceivable for me to try and think of stealing money from people by using deception it makes me sick. I have been scammed before because I trusted them and for them to steal my money makes me loose faith in most humans online. That is why when I conduct business with anyone I want to see their face over webcam and for them to show them their licence. If you intend to sell some btc-e codes in the future please read this

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=396666.msg4282064#msg4282064

If you comply with the rules I can provide you a 1:1 ratio and continue buying from you.

Can you recommend me to someone that you know is reputable? I need to find someone who I can form a business relationship with to trade in cash for btc-e codes.

Thank you.

10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which exchanges should I look at using? on: January 03, 2014, 05:17:10 AM
There are a lot of reputable exchanges bitstamp, cryptsy and btc-e you may want to consider these factors before you decide on which exchange is good for you the fees, verification, alt coins, method of withdrawals and deposits, support and reputation. I personally use mtgox to trade BTC, cryptsy to trade alt coins and btc-e to have a good laugh at the troll box.
11  Economy / Currency exchange / WTB BTC-E codes (prerequisites) on: January 03, 2014, 03:48:52 AM
Hi, I am wanting to buy BTC-E codes small payments first then continue to trade with you for a couple of days. When I feel comfortable and we bot agree to it I can make larger payments. Payment options are paypal. First I have some prerequisites before we trade this mitigates time waster scams and I have been scammed before so I am doing my due diligence.

For trusted members / hero members
1. skype, verified paypal, show evidence of successful trades

for other members
1. skype, webcam and show driver licence, verified paypal and escrow (optional, if you agree to it)

Why should you trust me.

1 I have been scammed before and I would never scam anyone
2 I am a sole trader http://abr.business.gov.au/SearchByAbn.aspx?SearchText=66185988179 I can provide you with my driver licence over skype and any other documents to show you I am genuine.
3 you can ring me on my mobile or phone number and we can talk
4 you can add me on facebook
5 you can add me on skype

If you think I am being too protective please tell me what you would be comfortable with when trading with me and please suggest anything that will prevent me being scammed or building trust with me please list it.

Regards,

Tim.
12  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Xchanga Update And Blackmail on: January 01, 2014, 05:13:18 AM
See, I told you they'd do this. There's nothing you can do to get your money back. It's a good thing you you sent bogus documents like I suggested.

The only thing you have communicated to me through pm is this"

Here's what I could find for Xchanga.com:

Dusik, Cynthia
Phone: (419) 385-9740
Postal Code: 43614
Email: ulust08@live.com"

And I said I appreciate the help.

Then you make this post and fabricate things that I have never done or things that you have never told me.

I sent xchanga my driver licence and bank statements they replied saying that I am verified but there has been no communication since because they want my mate ID as well and I have no idea why because he never made an order because he was going to wait to see if I got my bitcoins first which is smart I wish I wasn't the guinea pig but I wouldn't want him to be scammed as well i've asked him to send his id as a favour but he refuses he doesn't trust them because of what I told him about my experince with xchanga. It's understandable that he wants to keep his privacy safe. I was desperate enough to send them my ID hoping it might help but it didn't they just keep coming up with new excuses and now I have a feeling that they will do something bad with my information.

You are hero member what are you playing at?
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice on getting my money back on: December 30, 2013, 12:10:49 PM
Have you already checked with visa if you can reverse your payment from western union?

I guess it is worth trying
I have contacted WU and they said nothing can be done because the receiver has already picked up the money. I will see if a charge back is possiable. I pray it is.
Cheers for the help.
Yeah, did you pay with credit card? You can file a chargeback,
I will try that thank you

They are a scam. Make a thread in scam accusations

I have but it doens't get many views and the more people that know about xchanga the less victims there will be I may be QQ too much but I think that what makes this forums/community great is people experince and sharing it to the world.

I hope if there are people considering about xchanga because of their cheap prices read these posts and reconsider if they should do business with them. 60% of me thought it was a scam because the minimum order you can make is 1/2 a bitcoin i found a bit sus. I even asked if I could purchase $100 worth of BTC because my mentality is buy small to see if they are legit and if they are continue making small orders until you have formed a relationship with them then make big orders. But their live chat representative reasured me and they convinced me that they would deliver but they didn't they kept making excuses.

As I understand it you payed with western union.

Cant you just charge your money back with western union?

https://thewesternunion.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/52/session/L3RpbWUvMTM4ODQwMzE2MS9zaWQvdDJsVHE2Smw=

Sounds like you get at least the ID of the person who got the money from WU and with that you can file a charge.

I have never heard of a money order sorry for my ignorance. What I understand is that I don't think I will be able to get a refund because I didn't pay him through a money order it was through my visacard through WU. Should I still in the form and cross my fingers?
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice on getting my money back on: December 30, 2013, 11:31:17 AM
There's probably nothing you can do unfortunately. Best you can do is file a police report or something.

Thank you for the advice I will contact them tomorrow do you think they could stop their fraudlent business from operating? I don't want other victims going through the same thing I went through I hope this posts gets views so people can be aware of exchanga scam. It is a good thing that most of you have not heard of them before. Do not trust them. I will continue to stalk each post they make and link it to my post. That is my mission in life now beside my work and drinking Smiley. I hope their fraudulent activities gets shutdown.

Make sure to file a scam report here with evidence. Maybe there's already a thread about this user there since he has many bad feedback.

Is this enough ? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=387941.msg4198785#msg4198785 the evidence I have posted is my email chats with xchanga. I do have the payments that I sent them the WU receipts should I put that in their as well? What other evidence would help? How do I file a scam report?
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice on getting my money back on: December 30, 2013, 11:23:23 AM

What is Xchanga and what's the point of this post??

Trust: -11: -2 / +0(0)
Warning: Trade with extreme caution!

I hope you get your money back..

I didn't know they had an account on this forums before I purchased from them. Which is silly by me I found there site by googling western union to bitcoin. Then when they didn't deliver I did some searching and found that they had an account on this forum which I should have done the first time. I tried communicating to them by PM them but they do not reply.

I hope I get my money back as well I have contacted WU and they couldn't help. Who else should I contact?

Hi everyone, Please read this to get an understanding of where I am coming from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=387941.msg4198785#msg4198785. I have done everything Xchanga has told me to and they still have not sent me my BTC that I have paid for or refunded back my money. Could someone give me some advice on who I should call call to get my money back or stop these fraudsters?
