I recently found a backup of my old wallets and need a little help getting them updated/current. In this example, I have a folder titled Raven and it appears to have all the parts of a wallet from 2018. How do I go about syncing the old data with the latest version of the wallet? thx! First of all make a copy of you wallet.dat file from that folder, somewhere (external, usb stick and so it's better). Download the official RVN wallet ( https://ravencoin.org/wallet/ ), it's v4.3.2.1 to date. Launch the Raven Core wallet and wait for synchronization (will take some time, maybe days but will works). Look at your 'Raven' folder. If the RC will update some files on your 'Raven' folder, that's fine; it mean it will use and update your old wallet.dat with all info from 2018 to date. When launch the RC, it's a good idea to encrypt your wallet writing down the passwd on a paper; then backup it again.

I see good developments going on with regular updates on social media platforms, I was wondering whether there is any exchange or wallet which provides staking rewards or any kind of rewards where you get something for holding RVN. I am holding RVN for years now and getting approx 4% APY on the OKEx exchange wallet. I am searching for a better option. Another thing I have noticed is that Binance never brings a staking product with RVN, Why..?
The philosophy of Ravencoin is not about stacking but usage (adoption by creating, distributing and using assets). Looking in maximize the decentralization, the Ravencoin it's far away from PoS model (PoS being a fiat model).

Thanks for the help. Binance has never done anything on the exchange. There is no account there. I'll try to contact them. I see all my transfers through the blockchain. Huh? I am pretty sure chances are low to recover those coins. If a hacker transfers those coins to Binance it is very unlikely he leaves any trace. Most likely sold for some privacy coin and bye bye... Deserve to try if someone lost the coins due hackers. I am sure all transactions are full traceable, including the 'anonymous' transactions. If there was a thief, it's just a matter of time to locate the thief. It's a simple illusion that private and untraceable coins can do what claim.

Attention! Attention! The ravecoin team offers to download a desktop wallet from its website. Do not do that! From this wallet, your coins are constantly being withdrawn to the wallet RPtVVaPqstQeXNYfEb32YfAibsQ4YcueVr You can check it yourself! Already withdrawn 237,550.33216491 RVN coins! I demand the return of my coins! This is a team of cheats!
Can you please provide this desktop wallet download link? I never lost anything in two years using the official wallet. Did you mined your RVN? If yes, on which pool?

Can someone point me to directions for making IPFS link go right to a website. I want to create an asset and in the asset explorer when you click "click to view" it goes to a web site. Just like this asset does https://ravencoin.asset-explorer.net/ asset name: "GETTING_STARTED/RVN" Upload an index.html file with meta refresh. the ipfs.org upload will only let you upload pics. Same with Ravencoin and mangofarms web sites. I downloaded and setup go-ipfs, started the daemon and uploaded the html through the web UI and using command line. Both returned a hash. I can only access the file through my local gateway on one browser (brave browser). Opera, IE and Iron won't load through the local or any other gateway. I am able to load other ipfs links from the ravencoin asset explorer in any browser so I know it is not a browser issue. can anyone see this? https://ipfs.io/ipfs/QmfQ5XSZaTw2hzm8GWFcRApW76kwcWfS5UBzcNhxNFyuHr a .pdf that I am testing... Yeap, I see this. "Get your free crypto...". Looks ok. If you see this: https://gateway.ipfs.io/ipfs/QmZgparas5NPUvpPFGxBegRA4m9RFwBnpnk6ytKKLXEkax/ it's an index.html file. I don't think it's a browser issue, maybe an ipfs pin/cache issue. Tried to use 'ipfs add' command to upload html file and not worked? What's the returned Qm? That one was uploaded using ipfs gateway. But I have trouble seeing it unless I use the short url they proide... This one: https://ipfs.io/ipfs/QmSb1D4XsFa8A2jNGvihBBUKmtEcfJ3DBPRNLNnGcadePSI uploaded with the ipfs webui. it is a html rediredt to the same address you see in the pdf... QmRB7Usv9D77aBWnRdAMsWnPhXmjQiXPmGCd9gSqvjd8Qz this one with the CL ipfs add "file" if you can see that then I know it is on my side... next I need to read up on how to putty to my Rass PI and upload using the ravenland OS. ipfs node... Your link loads fine for me so I think I will look into the pin/cache issue you mentioned. On Rass PI (ravenland OS): $ su ipfs $ cd ~ $ mkdir tests $ cd tests $ mcedit index.html <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=https://freefaucet.io/login/register?r=Deadhededead" /> </head> <body> </body> </html> $ ipfs add index.html added QmVLN9SMfTEtBjzbJ3vAXQdyGqQ9H31RGNW9s2oGkoStja index.html https://ipfs.io/ipfs/QmVLN9SMfTEtBjzbJ3vAXQdyGqQ9H31RGNW9s2oGkoStja

Help decentralization mining on a pool with unique features (zero fees for a while, really innovative graphs, custom payouts starting from 0.1 ZEL; and more): https://zelcash.youmine.xyz/EWBF: miner --server zel.youmine.xyz --port 2032 --user YOURZELADDR--pass x --algo 144_5 --pers ZelProof Already found 7 blocks, need more miners.

Thanks, @Funakoshi
Now looks it's connecting well to the pools (actually --pers are sngemPoW and ZelProof).
But now I receive "nvmlInit failed".
(Win10 64bit 1803, 4x1080ti, Nvidia driver 416.16 if this help)

@Funakoshi
Can you support xsg.youmine.xyz:3033 and zel.youmine.xyz:3033 ? I tried to test the miner, said pool is not yet supported.
Thanks

Is it possible to run one machine and have different GPU's pointed to Different pools/stratums?
E.G.:
zm --server stratum.web.services --port 3123 --user wallet.id --color --dev GPU0 zm --server stratum.notthesameweb.services --port 3103 --user wallet.id --color --dev GPU1
etc... etc... ?
If not this way, could it be done with the --cfg-file command?
Thank you in advance.
Yes, you can. In the way as you say.
