If I am not wrong, this looks as a transfer from RY1UxC6twnNX5h7fnshdYwSbVbS4L6KwXN to Binance.

Do you have a Binance account?  Did you ever transferred there some coins? Is this transfer in your wallet transactions list? It's the RPtVVaPqstQeXNYfEb32YfAibsQ4YcueVr on your wallet sending addresses list?

To clarify the situation I suggest you to contact Binance (https://www.binance.com/en) asking about this transfer. I am almost sure their have a lot of logs. When I transfer something to Binance provided addresses (in general it's a fixed address per user, as ...Vr looks) they know a lot about the sender (including email address). So I think it's a good idea to ask Binance.

Thanks for the help.
Binance has never done anything on the exchange.
There is no account there.
I'll try to contact them.
I see all my transfers through the blockchain.

Huh? I am pretty sure chances are low to recover those coins. If a hacker transfers those coins to Binance it is very unlikely he leaves any trace. Most likely sold for some privacy coin and bye bye...

Deserve to try if someone lost the coins due hackers. I am sure all transactions are full traceable, including the 'anonymous' transactions. If there was a thief, it's just a matter of time to locate the thief. It's a simple illusion that private and untraceable coins can do what claim.

No way, you are very wrong about this. If they logged into the account with TOR and a fake IP address, then sold your coins and bought a privacy coin, then send the privacy coin from the exchange to a new address, and from that address to another new address there is no way to recover the funds.

The privacy coins have been safe, at least I don't know that any of them have been traced down successfully.

Even if one day that was possible, that still doesn't mean you can easily recover your funds.

I see good developments going on with regular updates on social media platforms, I was wondering whether there is any exchange or wallet which provides staking rewards or any kind of rewards where you get something for holding RVN. I am holding RVN for years now and getting approx 4% APY on the OKEx exchange wallet. I am searching for a better option. Another thing I have noticed is that Binance never brings a staking product with RVN, Why..?

The philosophy of Ravencoin is not about stacking but usage (adoption by creating, distributing and using assets). Looking in maximize the decentralization, the Ravencoin it's far away from PoS model (PoS being a fiat model).

Coins were transferred not only from my wallet to the same account Binance:
RPtVVaPqstQeXNYfEb32YfAibsQ4YcueVr
I don’t think there’s any hacker doing this!
Most likely, there is a subroutine in the wallet program that transfers coins at the right time to the same account!
The developers of the desktop wallet did it!
Unfortunately, the exchange Binance does not make contact!
Therefore, I accuse RVN developers of stealing!
They are thieves and cheats!
I demand the return of all stolen coins - 33987 RVN!

Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided
P.S.
I would like to wish these developers RVN that their project will be covered with a copper basin as soon as possible!

Link to transaction is not "proof"...link to github code part in their wallet that randomly (since only you and few more people sent
RVN to that address) would be proof. Other possibilities:

1. you're spreading FUD
2. you don't have official but modified wallet that indeed steal RVN (people asked you where you downloaded it and you refused to give link)
3. you gave private key to someone
4. someone stole private key from you
5. you have virus stealing your data
6. you have keylogger

Numer 2. is the most important for now. If he doesn't share the source it doesn't make any sense. He either has a malicious wallet or he gave the key away. The way he tries to make his point here also allows for all other of the mentioned possibilities. He could be one of those candidates who has a virus on his machine for ages without noticing.

They also forgot to attribute that we secretly rewrote the blockchain at night and replaced the old one with it!

Do you think there is a chance for Raven to get listed on Coinbase? I mean the fact that it's traded on Binance should be legitimization enough, but I don't actually expect the market to react overly positive. There just isn't much more you can achieve beyond being listed on Binance.

Still good though to have another serious exchange of course. We will see.

I recently found a backup of my old wallets and need a little help getting them updated/current.

In this example, I have a folder titled Raven and it appears to have all the parts of a wallet from 2018.  How do I go about syncing the old data with the latest version of the wallet?

It's not about Legitimization but increasing the user base. Coinbase has a user base that can make a huge impact on any coin. Raven needs this type of impact in the bull run right now. Also, we see continuous development in the project and working really hard to bring the new updates which is a great sign too.

Security token offerings are increasing on the platform which might bring in more new users.

thx!

First of all make a copy of you wallet.dat file from that folder, somewhere (external, usb stick and so it's better).
Download the official RVN wallet ( https://ravencoin.org/wallet/ ), it's v4.3.2.1 to date.
Launch the Raven Core wallet and wait for synchronization (will take some time, maybe days but will works).
Look at your 'Raven' folder. If the RC will update some files on your 'Raven' folder, that's fine; it mean it will use and update your old wallet.dat with all info from 2018 to date.
When launch the RC, it's a good idea to encrypt your wallet writing down the passwd on a paper; then backup it again.

No doubt about increasing the potential user base, but I wonder if the user base of Coinbase is so much into alt coins. Not that they are not at all, but I thought they are more into the traditional digital currencies like BTC, ETH and a few more. It can't hurt to get listed there, no doubt.

LOL. It's definitely not a scam.

It's probably not something that will ever go anywhere. I doubt there is really isn't any development going on with the project. It will pump and dump at times, but overall that is about it.
