Probably look at IDEX & EtherDelta where most altcoins are that don't make it to an exchange.

Airdrops don't pay if the Softcap is not reached - so if the project isn't funded then the bounty / airdrop campaigns don't get paid. It's not necessarily a scam as a risk of joining a project that isn't going very well.

Sia has been a solid project for a while. When companies are actually build something useful, their tokens seem to go up in value.

It all depends on what the company does to improve and increase adoption throughout the year.

A lot of businesses trying to get into this space. New term coming called IDO for Initial Deed Offering.

ETH didn't do their last hard fork. If that ever does happen it will be big - since they are moving the consenus method. However, LTC fork looked positive for a bit, until everything went down.
|
|
|
Ever since they abandoned the hard fork which would have brought Proof of Stake consensus, ETH has been on a downward slide. I hope it picks up momentum again soon. I see new platforms like Steller making a lot of ground that could have been on ETH.

I see a lot of speculation on LTC to hit $1000 this year. However, that is only 5x. Much easier to beat 5x growth with NEO.

Looking forward to this option coming to more exchanges soon as well.

If you buy presale, you are almost guaranteed 5x. Buy early or get max bonus / discount will make sure your cost basis is lower and will get you the highest return on investment.

interesting concept. When more exchanges pickup I am certain it will make momentum.

Options are a safer investment than altcoin investment in the current environment. However, on the altcoin side, Stellar seems to be in a nice position for improvement.

I would encourage a percentage in a high volume crypto such as BTC, LTC, ETH. But, some nice looking choices.

I am surprised not to see Litecoin anywhere on this list. With several threads rumoring a $1000 moon at point this year, I am keeping it higher on my list.

Sounds interesting. I will be watching for further announcements.

after just working an ICO, I can tell you Token Market drives the most traffic.

Every new Altcoin is a pump & dump, they all start out this way. Buy Low, Sell High, Buy Low and HODL! Then wait for good news.
|
|
|
I have studied the graphs of many successful ICO's, they all share one common theme, that is everyone buys in during Pre-ICO/ICO and then dumps the coin within a couple of months of the ICO ending. The companies who are successfully building their projects and are regularly sharing their progress and engaging their community, these Altcoins go back up in value and usually surpass what the final ICO price was. So, my observation is you should buy low, sell high and buy back low again! That is if you are interested in taking a gamble on any of these Altcoins.
The biggest factor in a teams success seems to be their Crytographer and Product Manager - if you find a company with a good combination of these employees - there is a greater chance that the Altcoin will appreciate with a HODL strategy. Still, I don't see the harm in buy, sell, buy...just my opinion.

I have been in on Litecoin for a bit. I like the growth and potential. I moved some around the other day and was surprised how fast it works! I missed out on the fork, my coins were stuck in Coinbase. But, I am excited to see what more growth comes this year as well.

In bounties, you earn Stakes that are converted to Tokens once the campaign ends and the token is released. You can't earn Tokens since tokens don't exist until an ICO finishes. So, the proper term is Stake until Tokens are issued.
