Promising, why they don't try to inform about the development?

The thread should get updated now as you see the above post.

This is the latest from their twitter https://twitter.com/BCDiploma/status/1059456376056045570

Can join us on telegram too https://t.me/BCDiploma   Smiley

Whatever it was, however, I still do not see any active updates regarding the project. the team did not completely think over its strategy of work. so it is not known in which direction they will move further to improve their development path.

IAE Nantes University is going to come onboard BCDiploma this month and another that is not named yet.

You can listen to Alex (COO of BCDiploma) interviewed by Michael Waitze (Highly recommend it!)

This project is dead, they have forgotten investors.

It's very much alive and kicking actually Smiley

New customers will be on-boarded this month, 16,000 certifications have already been signed with more to come!

Certifications will be live on the blockchain as the Universities customize how they want their certifications/diplomas to look.

More partnerships and schools in the works.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [RDN] Raiden Network: Welcome to the Ethereum Lightning Network 🔥 on: November 16, 2017, 02:03:39 AM
Raiden team is not doing any marketing at all yet.

Do they plan on doing marketing soon?  Where can we see updates from the Raiden team themselves about the project?

Check the official site here https://raiden.network at the top right there is BLOG and all the other social media links too.
They're low key and no hype.  CrushCrypto and another source say this can be 1 Billion$ market cap and I believe it can since it's been in development for 2+ years.
They're launching micro Raiden for smaller transaction on the Main net end of November this month, notice I said Main net not test net.

It's pretty surprising this one is not getting much attention but good for everyone here who still wants to get in early on a great and real project.
Check out how micro Raiden is used to control a Robo remote control car with micro Raiden transactions.  Instant speed and very cool at Devcon 3.
This can make Ethereum work lightning fast to the order of magnitude of 1,000,000 transactions/second!

Interesting project. The pre crowdsale seems to be great, the number of buying ether is bursting. I think this would be success. Goodluck devs!

I rather buy after,,,all the ICO so far later when it sells in the exchange is cheaper as the team will sell their coins to make more money like it happened with TENX, we have learnt our lessons! no more ICO!  Team will sell their coins, DO not invest in ICO you will lose your investment

Not at all, Did you invest at all the ICO's lately?

Opus has unique concept. This project will be successful after the ICO end.

Yes I did and what happened all ICO is cheaper to buy from exchanges as the value will be the same as it was in the ICO but then the Team will sell their coins to make profit and make lots of money for their own pockets, Same old story, I have been here for more than 4 years and this is what will happen, want to bet?

It's most likely not just the team and more so the people who bought the ICO's because people who buy them outnumber the developer holdings usually.  The ICO buyers do a quick flip and so the prices go down.  It's almost pointless to buy during ICO like you say, the prices become cheaper when it hits the exchanges, but I've noticed some exceptions and that depends on a few things.   I don't like that Opus has a bounty incentivizing people to post positive comments etc blindly.

We definitely do not ask people to spam and post only good things. We always recommend bounty participants to read and fully understand the technology. If there are any constructive posts or posts that add to a discussion, it's completely fine.

To be honest, we are mostly developers and engineers so we are learning the bounty program as well Smiley

I'd say maybe look at a few things in the bounty program that are less questionable.  Some people here make valid points then these guys on the bounty program come in without getting into much detail straight to something positive and how much they love Opus without addressing the persons concerns/views.  I think that you'd be better off and have better credibility without these posters as no constructive discussion comes about it.  There have been very credible ICO's like Civic which I believe did not have a bounty program so any enthusiasm or positivity is from real discussions and more so organic than incentivized positivity, which I dare say is more to be used for pump and dump ICO's and the like.  Hope that helps Wink

Is the opus bounty program basically paid enthusiasm and positivity?  Because that's how it sounds like atm.

idiot!

Great feedback!  Why don't you educate me since you're so smart?

do your due dilligence. your question were idiot. the team won't give free tokens to those who say shits on their project

I'am an investor,i bought the pre sale and i believe in that project.

It sounds like you're the idiot here that doesn't know how to speak or comprehend english buddy.  "your question were idiot"
"the team won't give free tokens to those who say shits on their project". No kidding?!  Damn you're a genius, you should start your own ICO!

Oh by the way you're doing a great job at representing Opus seeing that in your signature.  Keep it up!

I'm intrigued but can't get passed the fact that this "Beta Demo" page everyone is mentioning, doesn't seem to prove anything of the real product other than how it visually it would look like.  Correct me if I'm wrong and how I'd be able to tell it is already functioning within the blockchain and IPFS?
Hi Jame, there are two demos, Basic and Advanced. The basic demo simulates the feel of the advanced demo without requiring Metamask or Mist.
If you wish to test the advanced demo, you need to install Mist or Metamask and switch to the Rinkeby testnet. Purchasing songs on the blockchain takes approximately 15 seconds but playing back songs from your contract is instant.
If you have any other questions do not hesitate to join our slack

It would be nice if someone at Opus creates a video on the demo page showing the advanced demo while using Metamask for those of us with limited time. Wink

Looking over the different sites with specs on cards and kh/s and mh/s values I can not even find your card listed, I know one of my sons is just doing it for fun on an older GTX 250 and is getting around a 100 kh/s on scrypt coins and jack on BTC. Personally if you can I would say get some new hardware currently the card to get if you can find them is ATI 290x but of course they are sold out everywhere..

So if I get an ATI 290x or something close to it, would that be all I need given my PC specs or would I have to upgrade my PC too?  How much can I expect to make if I follow your advice and run scrypt coins?  Thanks

Why not solo mine?  You might get 25 coins if your lucky.  Like playing the lottery every day, for free!

What do you mean by solo mine?

Below is my PC specs it's ancient I know but it works just fine for what I'm using it for.
Pentium 4 - 3.0 Ghz
2 GB Ram Kingston
Nvidia Gefore 7800 GT
700W Power Supply
...

Mine CPU alt coins with your computer and convert to Bitcoin immediatelly. This way you maximize the amount of BTC you can mine

Which scrypt coin is best to mine right now?
Hi, I mostly use firefox for work on my pc and the most intense it gets is watching downloaded videos or youtube, I don't game.  I want to know what program to get to mine bitcoins while using my PC with little intensity so that it doesn't affect anything im doing.  I'm a total newbie to mining so any additional info that I would need to know to pull it off would be great.. thanks  Cheesy

I think your best bet, is to get some ASIC USB Miners.

I looked into some, they claim to process 50GH/s, if I try to mine a litecoin with one of those what can I expect in a month given todays price / difficulty?

the way to mine bitcoins with a normal computer is to plug in an ASIC into it. Smiley

Looking into it...

Not that I want to discourage you from mining but with an NVIDIA card you would be better off looking at scrypt coins like Litecoins, Feathercoins, Digitalcoins or something along that line, the reason I say this is I started the same place you are back in August and over 3+ months of mining on BTC on a very similar card as yours and 11 block erupters I only had .5 BTC and an increased power bill.

I have updated my hardware to ATI cards and am working on different scrypt coins and doing a decent profit after electrical and the cost of the cards.

The app I use for mining is cgminer 3.7 which I run from the command line (http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/)

If you are looking for a GUI application I would check out guiminer (http://guiminer.org/)

Again if you are just wanting to do BTC just for fun and see what its like you will probably do a couple of cents a day in BTC but if you are looking to make decent money on it your not going to with the hardware you currently have.

Thanks for your reply, I live in an apartment where the electricity is included so the electricity bill part doesn't concern me.  Did you make that 0.5 BTC while using your PC at the same time as I described?  If so that's great approx $400 worth today for doing nothing.  I have a long term view on this because if I can run this along side using my computer that I use daily anyway and no electricity bill, then why not over a year might earn 1 btc even that's fine with me.  However the other way using scrypt coins like you described is appealing too.  Do you think can brief me on skype or email about how to setup a profitable scrypt coin mining rig? Like be my mentor?   BTW thanks I will check those you mentioned to start mining btc.  Also why I chose bitcoins is because when I tried to buy litecoins, it seems that btc-e is the only exchange and I don't trust those guys at all.  One day they'll just run with peoples money, I know from experience with sites that operate they way they do.

I don't want to be cruel but honestly that hardware is so dated you can't mine anything with it.  Not even CPU mining which needs at least a C2D level CPU to beat electricity costs.

What is your motivation to mine?  Mining is there to support the network.  If you want to make $ you need to spend money.

Hey thanks for your reply, I have no electricity cost, my motivation is to earn whatever I can over a year time frame, so if in a year I make 1 bitcoin at todays value while being able to normally use my PC that's $400 I would have otherwise not have had.....hope it makes sense now...
