Hi Jame, there are two demos, Basic and Advanced. The basic demo simulates the feel of the advanced demo without requiring Metamask or Mist.
If you wish to test the advanced demo, you need to install Mist or Metamask and switch to the Rinkeby testnet. Purchasing songs on the blockchain takes approximately 15 seconds but playing back songs from your contract is instant.
