I'd rather use MyEtherWallet than MyCrypto, that's for sure.

From a holder perspective no, not at all. From a trader perspective maybe, exchanges are a single point of faliure, but that's a given.

In the long term, it is always better to hold the private key yourself. Exchanges may fail, close, be hacked or seized. Your own wallets, if backed up correctly, won't. Just be sure to learn about cold storage security and backups, a paper wallet or seed written on paper stored in a safe place is a good backup in case electronics fail, just remember to encrypt that with gpg and not to forget your password and gpg keys, which you can backup too.
Obviously if you intend to trade daily, it is more efficient (and risky) to have your coins on an exchange.

Creo que no debería ser un fork más de una altcoin tipo litecoin
debería haber strings con nombres de los pokémons repartidos por la blockchain de forma matemáticamente aleatoria, y que eso hiciera parte de ciertos wallets, como colored coins, como fruto de distintas transacciones
el incentivo de mover el dinero sería conseguir pokemons
y luego un block explorer muestraría las imágenes asociadas, o podrían almacenarse con base64 en la blockchain también
que opináis?
