1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can too many Altcoin's can become a threat to bitcoin's existence on: October 19, 2018, 07:46:51 PM
actually there is also a positive effect in my opinion that we as investors have more choices to invest our money, but it will also have an impact on the price of the bc I think because more people will put their money in various places, and judging by the price fluctuations of btc when this tends to be stable at the rate of $ 6000 to $ 7000 so we can know that the number of ico does have an impact on the price of BTC, but it is only my personal opinion maybe the analysts know better whether it impacts or not. 2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Facebook against Bitcoin? on: October 19, 2018, 07:38:41 PM
Facebook is not against Bitcoin but rather intends to avoid the situation of misleading its community members through its paid advertisement. Users of facebook can post crypto and Bitcoin related topics on facebook without any penalty.
yes actually I have known this since yesterday, when facebook tried to ban cryptocurrency actually their goal was to reduce a lot of scams that occurred in Facebook ads because of the many scams committed by ico who were not responsible, and many of the facebook community reported ico, maca from that facebook banned adverts related to cryptocurrency. but from the latest news that I am now Facebook has unbanned cruptocurrency and is more selective of which ads could potentially scam
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin affect other Crypto? on: October 18, 2018, 03:13:44 PM
I have recently been into altcoin trading. I just want to know, does the price of bitcoin affect the price of other cryptocurrencies as well? How? I really want to know. I have noticed that ever since the bitcoin price pumped up and reached 4,000 USD, the price of the altcoins had gone really really low. I almost lost my invesment due to this sudden drop. Does bitcoin price have something to do with this?
if I think btc affects the price of altcoins that are popular and owned by many people, if for altcoins that have just been released and especially less popular coins I think the price of btc only has little or no effect, because enthusiasts on popular coins will remain small if btc prices go up so people will prefer to invest in btc than in the altcoin, so I think Smiley
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys please no more talk of Bitcoin better than gold on: October 17, 2018, 05:27:36 PM
Each thing is a thing to itself. If you say btc will replace gold you are saying btc will replace all metals of value. It
Makes no sense. Will Bitcoin replace bonds cause btc can have a higher yield. Remember, some day btc is replacing tulips at the moment. Open your minds a bit more and realize btc is not the end all be all. I love it, and have quite a bit, but I also have a safe full of gold. They are two separate entities, at one point it was confiscated from the people of the us and was illegal to hold. Those of you who keep saying this make me think you are not diversified and it's not always a good idea so stop this stupid gold comparison

yes, I also feel that, there are some people who are very enthusiastic about BTC and think that BTC can replace fiat money and everything, even though in my opinion it is wrong because actually BTC also has limitations and I think BTTC is already in the most comfortable place for tools digital payments, so let real-world finance still use fiat and real investment also uses gold, I hope people start to understand that not all elements of the economy in the world can be replaced by btc and banks replaced by blockchain. because they are already in their place. where it should be
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchains will create a better world on: October 17, 2018, 05:23:44 PM
Blockchains allow frictionless, fast, safe, and fair transactions between parties worldwide. They limit the ability of parties to benefit at the expense of the greater economy. They allow integration of the entire world into a fair and level economic playing field. And will help us to create the fair, honest, efficient, and safe world we all want to live in – says Paul Snow, CEO at Factom.com, in Bithub.pl’s #SundayInterview.

Is blockchain a breakthrough technology that can bring transparency to every aspect of social and political life? Or such a statement would be too far-fetched?

in my opinion, a statement like that is somewhat made, because in fact blockchain has not been able to implement it 100% effectively and we can see that there is still a lot of hacking from blockchain usage which I feel is still not safe, because it concerns someone's finances so it requires security at least equivalent to a bank, so if there is hacking at least we know where our coin coin goes, and blockchain should be able to help until the problem is over, it seems that it still hasn't been realized well for now, and I hope in the future to be even better
6  Economy / Economics / Re: When will Apple accept bitcoins? on: October 16, 2018, 03:20:33 PM
When they really need to. But they'll fight it hard! Apple's business model is to lock everything down -- very closed indeed. This does not align with the goals of bitcoin, at least, how I perceive them.

tl;dr Apple = closed. BTC = open.

in my opinion, companies like Apple don't need to accept payments using BTC, it would be better if the company as big as they make their own cryptocurrency and blockchain, because in my opinion it is more efficient and profitable for them. and moreover the cryptocurrency that they can directly connect to appstore and iTunes makes them more profitable.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin even work in our current system? on: October 16, 2018, 03:18:16 PM
Pretend that all the fiat money in the world is gone and the whole world is only using Bitcoin.  Ignore scalability issues for this scenario.

I'm sure most of you know that most money is actually created by banks through fractional reserve lending.  Our economy is stimulated by people constantly taking out loans to make purchases.  But with bitcoin you can't loan money that doesn't exist.  Maybe we would have to change our consumerism as a society and prices would drop.  Being able to borrow money easily makes everything rise in price.   What are your thoughts?

my opinion is that bitcoin and flat money are in different positions, where flat money is in a position where we make payments in the real world, and btc is used for payments in cyberspace which in my opinion will be very balanced for the continuity of both. because it will be very difficult if you really don't use flat money in real life. for example, what if something happens that requires us to pay right away, but when there is no network, for example during a disaster, it will be very difficult, so in my opinion it is better for BTC and flat money to have their own place
8  Economy / Economics / Re: The US dollar is gaining strength on: October 15, 2018, 02:45:42 PM
Since the last couple of weeks the US dollar has strengthened against almost all currencies (https://www.investing.com/analysis/us-dollar-time-to-buy-or-sell-200347445). Many analysts and traders consider that the growth was triggered by FED. In fact, Fed has been increasing gradually the interest rate since 2016 (https://www.investing.com/economic-calendar/interest-rate-decision-168) as well as there has been published the lowest unemployment rate since 1969 (https://www.marketwatch.com/story/the-reward-for-the-lowest-unemployment-rate-since-1969-higher-rates-for-your-loans-2018-10-08).
Gold, silver and other assets are under the pressure of strong dollar and  moreover strong dollar may cause a strong correction or even a crash on the stock market.
The key question is how the further strengthening of dollar will effect on the crypto market?

in my opinion, the dollar has an effect on the crypto market where, if the strengthening occurs, it will also affect one's purchasing power against cryptocurrency, for example. if the dollar has increased, it will make it difficult for other countries' currencies to export goods from outside and cause the price of exported goods to rise, and indirectly it will also reduce people's purchasing power because their basic needs have not been met. therefore, in my opinion, the strengthening of the dollar will have an impact on the cryptocurrency market which causes the purchasing power of the people to be low
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is one of the saviors. on: October 15, 2018, 02:40:23 PM
I agree with you because BTC can change a person's economy, especially for people who invest in 2017 early who are very sure they have got a big profit, I myself actually got a little extra funding for my life because of cryptocurrency. I did a campaign bounty and so on which produced coin coins, little by little changed my economy, and indirectly it was caused by cryptocurrency too Smiley
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to change on: October 14, 2018, 04:20:09 PM
I have only gained good things from cryptocurrencies (they have changed my life for the better), however, I am frustrated at those who are in for money, and only money. They hurt themselves as well as cryptocurrencies future. I am sad that I still can't use bitcoin to purchase the things I want, as it isn't used as a payment currency/method. I am sad that there are big financial institutions that want (and do their best) to wipe the crypto world out, and instead of working together as a crypto-community to thrive, we are fighting, arguing, and scamming each other. Where I live, the government relentlessly tightens and destroys our financial lives—I was lucky to have found salvation in cryptocurrencies when others struggled.

We need to show the world that we are not just a bunch of wanna-be millionaires, that we actually care.

yes, from what we feel today, there are many people who actually misuse cryptocurrency for illegal things such as money laundering, buying illegal goods, and even a lot of hacking done to get btc, which is why I think the government really prohibits the distribution of btc or use btc in your country, even though there are many people who misuse fiat money for things like I said above. but in my opinion until when there will be a handful of groups who continue to do this to benefit themselves, so the negative impact is you and all of us who use btc or cryptocurrency for positive things
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now in use Football Sports on: October 14, 2018, 05:48:33 AM
What a news!

UK based trading platform eToro signed an advertising deal with 7 Premiere League Clubs and paid them in #Bitcoin for the first time. So Bitcoin just got the Man Of The Match award.

https://twitter.com/Nebula_Exchange/status/1034722166502174720

What are you thinking?

For this reason, BTC is already widely used for sports betting, I think because of sports betting. because according to them btc has a stable value compared to having to use a currency in each country requires more calculations and can even experience losses because betting requires one value that is of equal value at stake, and not just a sporting world even the world of Esport is now starting to use btc as payment instruments or their bet equipment.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: October 14, 2018, 05:44:28 AM
Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.

in my opinion it's not a good thing for btc to replace fiat completely, because in my opinion it's better at this time where fiat is used for real-world payments, and cryptocurrency or btc is used for payments in the digital world, and of course with different rules. because it would be very difficult to really replace fiat as a payment instrument in the real world but it takes hundreds of years in my opinion CMIIW
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Viber, WhatsApp, skype, WeChat, Snapchat, IMO, Line not conduct ICO? on: October 14, 2018, 05:17:22 AM
What do you think why Viber, WhatsApp, skype, WeChat, Snapchat, IMO, Line have not yet launched their crypto platform?
But Kik and Telegram did it.
After all, companies can get 2 huge pluses:
1) to collect a large amount of money for ICO
2) add hype to marketing and popularity among users.

share your opinion

in my opinion they don't make ico themselves, but they are waiting for the right time or maybe they are developing their own ICO without us knowing. for example, from what I know that line is currently making ico them globally, and maybe another chat platform will follow the line where we know the line is not a small-scale chat platform
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US or China: Who do you think will legalize bitcoin first? on: October 14, 2018, 05:11:34 AM
Just curious which one would be more accepting of bitcoin or any cryptocurrency for that matter. China nowadays seem to headline a lot about artificial intelligence and other technology. They are also promoting a cashless society. So I am betting on China.
Feel free to contradict. This is just me overthinking. Maybe, neither would even legalize it in the future. Or perhaps countries would create their own crypto?
in my opinion, it is we who will first legalize BTC as a virtual payment instrument in their country, because from what we know, Chine is currently still carrying out very strict regulations on cryptocurrency in its country, I don't know whether their reasons for reducing fraud with cryptocurrency or want payment with money to be safer, or even they want to make cryptocurrency themselves
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Computer virus used to steal cryptos? on: October 14, 2018, 04:00:31 AM
I think it is still very difficult to do for now, but for the next few years it may happen that more and more people are interested in btc or cryptocurrency, the more people try to make a profit by shortcut, so if malware can stealing cryptocurrency or btc will be very difficult, but if you steal our data it is very possible especially if you put your privacy key and password on the computer that has been exposed to the malware it will be very easy for them to hack
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: October 13, 2018, 12:15:46 PM
In the next 100 years, do you think Governments will create their own cryptocurrency or digital currency that will replace fiat currency, i.e. coins, paper money, the paper dollar,  etc.?

If it does happen, will it be like bitcoin or will it still represent gold like how today's money works?

When viewed 100 years into the future it is very possible that human mobility is very infinite and requires us to be simple and may also affect finance which no longer uses paper money, other than damaging the environment because paper is made of trees, paper money need space in our wallet and the amount is limited, so maybe in the next 100 years many great scientists will find new payment instruments.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google lifts Crypto-Currency Add Ban! on: October 13, 2018, 12:02:48 PM
Read the full article: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/25/google-reverses-ban-on-cryptocurrency-exchange-advertising-in-us-japan.html

Oh, the bad news is, they would only allow regulated/verified exchanges to use their add platform. Meaning - You want to advertise your crypto platform through google? Get your shit verified. I'm sure twitter, facebook, medium soon will follow the same. In the conclusion, fuck decentralisation and let the government regulate everything related to crypto.

I think Facebook and Twitter might ban ads from cryptocrrency because they don't want their users to be hit by scams from ico who do and if Facebook and Twitter users feel disadvantaged by ads displayed by the platform, Facebook and Twitter will be affected too. Therefore, it is better than ban all cryptocurrency advertisements better google choose or sort ads from cryptocurrency that have the potential to commit scam
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Alternative currency ( paper money ) on: October 12, 2018, 06:10:52 AM
If there was an alternative currency (paper money) unregulated by the Government would you use it?
of course, it would be very difficult for the public to accept if the money was not regulated by the government, especially if the government that made it would cause a lot of counterfeit money and make the money hit by inflation that in a long time will be very worthless, and from the start it will be very difficult if it is because the public trust will be very minimal on money that has nothing to do with the government. I personally might not use it at all because it will have a very high risk
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is rare on: October 11, 2018, 06:21:56 PM
I think it's true, because if the btc supply decreases every day it will cause the number of btc to remain at 21 billion, which will cause prices to increase because of the rarity of btc. but there are also other factors that cause prices not to rise or even decrease, namely whether investors or traders still want to trade btc in the market or not, if the interest from btc is still very much then it will be good news, vice versa
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating New Coin or Invest in ICO on: October 11, 2018, 06:17:04 PM
As the title pronounced which do you prefer Invest or create? For me the capability of creating new coin can make big income and big loss there is a certain period of time that this idea will fail, as for Investing in some ICO compare to other side you have a freedom to choose, we all heard, don't put all your eggs in one basket but what if *if* half of the dozen egg broke and the other four was on fatal condition and the last two was successful and these two coin made you around 10m usd and your capital was 11m usd all of effort and time come to waste you see it's really hard to choose between two, how bout you share your opinions and express yourselves into this topic.

I myself prefer to invest in ICO because it requires knowledge about reading market trends, rather than having to make new coins which I think have a greater risk, not to mention having to find a team that is really great at this, then ascertain whether the coin we make it sell well, and you have to compete with a lot of existing  coins
