Hey OP I hope you're cute 'cause you need to get bent; Monero forking off asics and botnets in about a week. ![Kiss](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/kiss.gif) I haven't mined Monero...is it worth it with 1070s? Will it be better after fork or? I can only speculate but $3 per card/day is a conservative estimate. I do not think that is conservative at all! I would be stoked with $3 a day on my 1070's right now. How are you reaching that number?

Mining has definitely taken a hit. I have sold my L3 and my A3 ASICs before they become doorstops.

Has anybody here bought and/or received this asic from Halong? I figure with these units SET to ship this week, it could finally end "Dragonmint is a scam" debate...
I personally am still waiting for someone to actually get a miner from Halong. Their specs are juicy but I am hesitant to attempt to order.

How is presale going on guys? It's hard time for doing ICO and if EQUI is doing well this time they will definitely success. The team with big reputation should achieve their goals for sure. Good luck on that!
Pre-Sale will last from March 1 to March 15 with a minimum investment of $100,000. I agree, the company will be very successful, a lot of talk about it. That confirms their aim at VC level clients. I think this project has a bright future.

Searing has been in the game awhile and his thoughts only mirror mine ATM. Once you involve the TAX man it's a difficult game. I am at the point of wondering what to do with my small mine and the impending wave of miners.
I am in the exact same boat. Trying to figure out how to juggle a mine while keeping the taxes reasonable has been the hardest challenge yet.

When we do not have to mix cards, these motherboards will really shine. It is a tuning/driver nightmare for me when I have to mix cards.

Very impressive man, I cannot get my cards stable with that high of a memory clock, not even close!

You are guys lucky that you are living in the place with low electricity rate. Here in the Philippines, the rate is almost 0.27 cents. If we are mining with AMD cards almost 50% electricity bill, unlike Nvidia card that you can lower the watts while the hashrate is higher.
AMD cards even if it's undervolted it can only reduce a small power consumption.
Do you think guys it's still profitable to mine ethereum with AMD cards? I use some calculator, but it takes years before that I can break even and get the return amount of my investment.
It all depends if AMD decides to release mining specific cards. I have a few of the Sapphire 480's meant just for mining and they are less than impressive. Nvidia cards seem to be where it is at!

Yesterday I just lost 1.8k USD, maybe in USA or in West Europe that's doesn't much, but here in my shitty country that's a f* big amount of money. Here the minimum wage is ~ 300 USD / month. So that's like 6 month of work if I cut my bread and water and live on air. Half of my saving were other investments, but anyways... I'm feeling shitty right now. Oh, and I break my laptop. So yeah, that's another - 500 usd.
I though I can trade. Buy low, sell high. Sounds good, doesn't work.
Looking at the charts and candle sticks and watching old bitcoin values, and huge spikes (pump, I saw here how people uses the pump word, daaaamn...) I was... yeah, I can totally do that. I'll just buy when it's low, and sell it when it reaches the top. Well, I was wrong. You can't see the future, otherwise everyone would be a millionaire. That would be true if you would have a delorean from '85 with Emmett Brown and Marty Mcfly and you could f* travel in future and see the PUMPS!!!1
So anyone who will read this message (noobs like me) if you don't have any trading experience, don't do it. There are expert traders who know how this market works, when to buy and when to sell. Don't assume your skills by watching youtube videos and reading "daily indexes and predictions" of how the price will rise or go down by shitty sites. That's just dumb. You don't know what's gonna happen. Maybe a little bit of luck, or I don't know.
So yeah, from now on, I'll just leave the trading area for experts and I will invest in bitcoin by buying every 2 week or monthly and saving into my wallet. And one day (I hope so) the price will rise and I will buy for my self a delorean.
Cheers!
This is one of the most real posts I have ever read. There is a large difference between being a trader and an investor, yet it costs many of us money, myself included, to learn which we are. Sorry for your loss dude, you will recover! Cheers

Depends on when each exchange decides to list. Nobody knows!

For profitability, do you guys recommend a software like awesome miner or should I just pick a fairly profitable coin that I like and let my machines go to work?
There are many routes to take such as pool switching, algo switching, or coin switching within an algorithm. I recommend speculative mining and hope you hit it big.

For some weeks, I have noticed that Delta does not show any tokens volume. Showing all zero, trade is not happening. Now is the delta going dead or is it being due to temporary problem?
EhterDelta is a contract that allows users to make transactions on top of it. ED is going nowhere if the users keep using it.

For Forkdelta and Etherdelta I recommend using Metamask. it's probably safer than importing Private Key directly.
This. Also make sure to to make Etherdelta "forget" your account when you sign out. Be safe out there!

I fear the worst. The markets are only getting more depleted in the GPU area.

Be patient, in the crypto world longer you hold more profit you get. But it is quite important to invest in coin after really good research.
Well said. Holding is no joke. Find a few good coins, do your own research, and holddddd!

In the year 2017 so many Altcoin came into limelight . ETC, WAVE, STRATIS, DASH, ONION and many more Altcoin gained remarkable value. Let us guess Best Altcoins for year 2018?
ETC is gaining traction for the CLO fork, but it is already fading. I believe most coins will be worthless in a year's time and only the cream will rise to the top.

D0miner V1.0 AMD only Simple Cryptonight miner with charity mining option -------------------------------------------
Charity: - You can offer 0.55% of your earnings (that is 1 minute of mining every ~3 hours) for charity - 0.55% is something you won't even notice, but it can mean a lot to someone in need - Non-agressive Charity mining, if it can't connect to Charity pool, it will switch back to user pool
I wish more coins took this approach. Half of one percent is a tiny amount, but could grow it something large and make a real impact down the road. I wish you good luck with your project and believe charity functions will be a standard feature going forward.
