Hello MoneyPot team.

I would like to propose a small enhancement for the history page. We can't filter on tips.
It can only be found on the 'All' tab. But when betting this information is lost fast.

Hope MP considers this. For everything else, keep up the good work.

Currently under maintenance.

Once back up,

Change of app commission to 40% from 50%
Change of moneypot commission to 10% from 20%.

Investors are now exposed to 50% of the house edge from 30%.

This will be in effect until 1 Billion bets is reached, in which a 10% divestment fee will be placed on investor profit for apps and moneypot.

Can you explain the latter? Perhaps with an example?

I've said it before the system for giving a portion of profit to investors here is broken.  Complete waste of time to store your bitcoins here.

A few things could be the case here:
  • You are just trolling.
  • You don't have any clue what is going on.
  • You have some bitcoins to invest, discover you can invest in the bank roll of gambling sites, and expect to have a guaranteed gain.
  • You are not happy with your investment, and (choose one of the above).

You are always risking your money if you invest here. Only when you can invest money and have a lot of time, odds will be in your favor. On the short term, you never know.

I couldn't find this new thread easily. And I think also nowhere to be found on moneypot.com.
Maybe it is a good idea to put it somewhere on the support page, together with discord?
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: *** AWESOME DICE *** 1% House Edge ** PROVABLY FAIR MONEYPOT on: January 13, 2017, 03:22:07 PM
It is kind of strange to put "AWESOME DICE" in the topic title for a MoneyPot app called Dust Dice.
Because another MoneyPot app is actually called Awesome Dice.

Good luck with the MoneyPot app.

I checked it with real bets:
bet 1- won
house edge=1%
wager=10bits
profit=10bits
investor profit=-10.07bits
app dev profit=0.05bits

calculated: mp profit=10.07-10-0.05=0.02bits

bet 2- lost
house edge=1%
wager=10bits
profit=-10bits
investor profit=9.93bits
app dev profit=0.05bits

calculated: mp profit=10-9.93-0.05=0.02bits

So what does this mean? App dev get's 0.5% of the wagered amount, MoneyPot gets 0.02% of the wagered amount, and investors lose 100.7% of the wagered amount with a winning bet, and get 99.3% of the wagered amount with a losing bet.
But the chance of winning of the one betting is only 49.5%, so investors win on average:
0.993*0.505-1.007*0.495=0.003 => 0.3%

I forgot to mention in my example, it uses a multiplier of 2. Wink

Furthermore, i think your example isn't right.

Can somebody explain to me how profit and losses sharing will works here?

Case one - player wins 1 BTC from any moneypot app in single bet.

What I know is -

40% to app owners ( 40% of the house edge) equals to - 0.004 BTC
10% to Mp ( 10% of the house edge) equals to - 0.001 BTC

Investors need to pay - 1BTC+ 0.004+0.001 = 1.005BTC in total will disappear from the investors account.

Case two - player losses 1 BTC in any moneypot app in single bet.

What I know is -

40% to app owners ( 40% of the house edge) equals to - 0.004 BTC
10% to Mp ( 10% of the house edge) equals to - 0.001 BTC
40% to investors - ( 40% of the house edge) equals to - 0.004 BTC

All together is 0.009 BTC

If we deduct this 0.009 BTC from 1 BTC = 0.991 BTC

Please explain to me who will take this 0.991 BTC and how it will be distributed

I know my understanding is not correct. Thanks

First of all, with 1% house edge, to win 1 btc with a multiplier of 2, the one who is betting must wager 1.01btc.

Case 1: 50% of house edge goes to MP, 50% of he to app owners, and investors have 1btc loss
Case 2: he is the same as in case 1, 1btc goes to investors

Edit: multiplier

20 BTC Max win in a single bet cap will go live today.

I understand why you are doing this. When a MoneyPot app charges a high house edge, you can get very large winnings. E.g.:
bankroll = 900 BTC
house edge = 10%
Max profit = 900 x 0.1 = 90 BTC
A very lucky somebody could decimate the bankroll, which isn't good for investors.

But I want to plead for a max cap if the bankroll is small, but a variable one if it gets bigger. E.g.:
small bankroll
500 BTC
house edge = 11%
Max profit = 20BTC => max cap
large bankroll
6000 BTC
house edge = 11%
Max profit = 6000 x 0.01 = 60BTC
In this case it is cap'ed on 20BTC for small bankrolls, but if it get's higher, no matter how high the house edge is, it will be 1% of the bankroll. It allows for higher max profits, when MoneyPot becomes more popular for investors.

...

Sad Thanks for killing my action.

My only issue is that if I say "send my transaction paying 300 bits for the fee" and you send the transaction with 240 bits for the fee, that rubs me the wrong way.  Even if the transaction gets confirmed in the next block.  It's the appearance of impropriety.  Even if 240 was all it took, and even if sometimes you charge me 300 and you spend 500, if I say "use 300", you should be using 300.

It seems to me that a better way of doing it would be to say "do you want this medium priority or high priority" and showing the average fees each option takes, and then deducting the exact amount of the fees you pay (as directed by the customer) from the withdraw.

It's not about that. MoneyPot is using a flat rate, because they have to bundle inputs for a transaction. Sometimes a transaction consists of just one input, which doesn't cost much, fee wise. Sometimes it consists of many small inputs, what would result in a very large fee. In that case you are still only paying the flat rate fee.

So over all the transactoins that MoneyPot processes, it averages out to about that flat fee. It's a win/win for both MoneyPot and it's costumers. Because the transactions with a lot of small inputs can be a big pain in the ass sometimes. It just gives the best user experience. Most of the time it is already included in the next block, so it is a good system. For the times it isn't included in the next block, you have to wait a bit more. Even with a higher fee, you have no guarantees.

Btw, people complained about this before. That's understandable, because the way they handle this, was not mentioned anywhere. Now you can read it on the 'Send' tab. It is just a implementation choice. And the best one in my opinion.

Free bonus is nonsense,the op just want attrach more people to visit this site

There is a chat lotto available in the chat of bit-exo. It must be funded though, this can be done by the players. But almost every day the admins of bit-exo will send some to it. And when active in chat, you can be the lucky guy to win some.

But as far as I know, there is no such thing as a bonus on bit-exo.

Thanks for the replies, I put the feedback in the second post. It contains good stuff, don't know if we implement all of it, and how fast. We have some other points, needed to improve the website, we need to focus on first.

All feedback is welcome, and enjoy betting. Wink

Site doesn't load for me. All I see is the vegas picture on top and the rest of the site never loads completely, despite a rotating wheel on the tab window.
That is too bad, but to fix it I need some more information to recreate the problem. Can you give information like what browser/device/os/etc you use?

It maybe cause of low internet connectivity because I don't have that kind of issue to load the site properly, it working for me smoothly and everything is functional on my side, you must check you connection or change the browser, it would be helpful for you.
Could be the problem too. And as I mentioned in the list in the second post, I will look into optimizing loading the website.
