I was wondering if anyone knows if there a site like bitcoincharts that offer XML output of all the data?

So I downloaded the package and exacted it using tar... still no configuration file

ls -a:

Code:
.           blkmond       db-postgresql.c     hist.c       msg.c       ubbp.h
..          ChangeLog     db-sqlite.c         htab.c       NEWS        util.c
anet.c      config.c      elist.h             htab.h       protocol.h
anet.h      configure.ac  example-blkmon.cfg  LICENSE      README
AUTHORS     COPYING       example-cfg.json    m4           server.c
autogen.sh  db-mysql.c    .gitignore          Makefile.am  server.h

Anyone know what is happening to this configuration file?

Made sure and it def. does... I am signed in as root so its not a permission issue... After installing a few extra packages like build-essentials I now get this.

Code:
bash: ./configure: No such file or directory

I am having an issue with Installation... I am running Ubuntu 11.04 Server and when I get to the point to configure the files for install I get:
 I Enter this:
Code:
 ./configure --prefix=/home/[b]my_user_name[/b]/pushpool/

I Get This:
Quote
configure: command not found

Am I missing something that needs to be installed in Ubuntu?

Sorry I am kind of a Linux Newb.

Down the road I want to start my own Pool... I am just trying to learn how everything works and exacty what the program is doing. So I would like to know how do I know what work is being done and how can I see what work is being done by the bitcoin program. I dont really care what I should be doing right now, I just want to know how I know its working.

Well thanks for the confidence... I will be having so friends join me as well so that will be boosting in the 2-3G/Hashs/s. I am doing Solo with so friends and over time I will be building more machines... So in the mean time how do I know this is working?
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How do i know it's defintly working? on: June 06, 2011, 09:38:43 PM
I just realized that i dont even know if its actually working... Like I have my Bitcoin.org program running but there really is no info on there that I can its doing anything... The only thing I can tell us from my GUIMiner that says its going at 896 M/Hash/s. If there a tool or anything in the Bitcoin app to show me what its working on?
9  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What will happen when I mine a Block? on: June 06, 2011, 09:35:43 PM

11  Bitcoin / Mining / Mining Pool Software? on: June 06, 2011, 09:20:30 PM
I was wondering if someone could point me to some open source mining pool software. I am looking for one that has a front end like Deppbit or BTC Guild. Anybody know of one?
12  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What will happen when I mine a Block? on: June 06, 2011, 09:03:41 PM
Well ya, I have a Tri Crossfire setup, Im pulling about 900 M/Hash/s Im also have a friend who is helping me with about 400 M/Hash/s ... Any idea how long it would take to see a block?
13  Bitcoin / Mining / What will happen when I mine a Block? on: June 06, 2011, 07:48:58 PM
So I am solo mining with my GPU, when I actually do stumble upon a block of BTC's how will i know? Will it come up in the Bitcoin.org software that 50BTC's where transferred to me?
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Best Software to make a bitcoin pool? on: June 06, 2011, 07:03:46 PM
So now that I am able to get clients to connect from the internet, I want to start my own pool. What software do I need for a web interface like BTCGuild or deepbit?

Worked that time! Thanks man!
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin.exe does nothing on: June 06, 2011, 06:28:52 PM
Sounds like something is wrong with the program it self. Like the poster above said back up your wallet data file and uninstall. The make sure all the directories which could hold bitcoin data (except the wallet) are deleted. Then re-install the app.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Connect Client Over Internet on: June 06, 2011, 06:19:51 PM
Yup. I have a localhost GUIMiner running as well and that connects fine.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Connect Client Over Internet on: June 06, 2011, 05:52:41 PM
So I am trying to connect my client which is running at work to my home Bitcoin node. My Firewall is off, AV is turned off and I have port forwarding setup on my router to port 8332. I have a username and password setup on my Bitcoin node along with allowip = *. When I try to connect I get error that I cant connect to the RPC Server. I did some port scanning and on port 8332 it says connection rejected. Any one have any ideas why I cant connect the client back home from work? P.S. I am the network Admin here so i know I am on a unfiltered/ no firewall connection.
