1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will regulation kill cryptos? on: April 09, 2018, 11:06:53 AM
Regulation will go a long way to flushing out those absurd anarco-libertarians who plague the bitcoin echosystem. Sure, regulation will hinder some things here and there--after all there is no such thing as perfect regulation--but if Bitcoin and crypto is to die, it won't be due to regulation but despite it.

Regulation, when done well, is what makes things sustainable.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait for bitcoin to grow? on: April 06, 2018, 08:28:13 AM
Everyone around me says, " sell all your tokens before bitcoin dies." Please tell me how to do?

Sell all your coins and go back to the real world. You are worried, and you are asking this question. You don't belon here.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The believe that because of Bitcoin limited supply the price will rise is a myth on: April 05, 2018, 01:39:23 PM
Obviously if there won't be any demand at all, it won't be Worth any money at all..

if its too expensive to trade. and has no merchant usage.. then its demand dies.
check out all the crap coins that cant buy a loaf of bread(random example) in the real world. but all have 21mill coin cap

scarcity is meaningless without utility/function.
emphasis check out all the crap coins with 21mill coincap

dont rely on scarcity as bitcoin saviour of value. otherwise your willing to say kill off utility/function because scarcity will push bitcoin up. reality is it wont. scarcity is meaningless without function/utility

scarcity is about supply.. function/utility drives demand. supply does not drive demand

bloody hell is reading comprehension no longer a thing?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The believe that because of Bitcoin limited supply the price will rise is a myth on: April 05, 2018, 01:17:55 PM
fxsurfer, you really, really need to study fundamental economics.

Let's make some essentials cristal clear.

IF the supply of bitcoin remains unchanged
IF the demand of bitcoin remains unchanged

then over time the "exchange value" to, say, the US dollar WILL indeed change, with a unit of BTC becoming worth "more" units of dollars. That's for the fundamental truth that the value of a unit of dollar, over time, decreases (rapidly).

Now, that the supply will not increase, but rather decrese, is a well established FACT, it will not change.
One uncertainty is wether the number of users and uses of bitcoin will increase, stagnate, or decline. That will, of course, impact its growth in value.

While we cannot predict how much Bitcoin will be Worth in a day, month, or decade's time, we can sat for certain that its scarcity will be a major factor in deciding its value. Obviously if there won't be any demand at all, it won't be Worth any money at all... but this is a somewhat obvious yet unlikely scenario. not really anything you can be insightful about.

So, you're either being completely lapalissian, claming that if there is no value for bitcoin it won't be Worth anything, or you're being--frankly--ignorant in claming that scarcity alone isn't a key value driver.

good job, you've discovered elasitcity of demand. now go study some more to realize why your conclusions are not neccesarely very insightful or likely.

Bitcoin is not a good in the sense potatoes are, that's one place where you can start.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Bitcoin and what could happen? on: April 03, 2018, 06:12:09 PM
Just my thoughts on if people were to implement more the peer to peer transactions of BTC and other Cryptocurrency to purchase goods and services,
if this went mainstream around the world.

do you think its possible to create these solutions?

Quote
1. by eliminated or reduce of FIAT we can get rid or lower the amounts of extreme wealth, from whales, etc billionaires?
Don't really see why. What mechanism do you foresee as the enabler for somthing like this?

Quote
2. restart the entire economy from zero, in the numbers aspect
That's never going to happen, you never restart an economy from zero. The closest you can get to that would be carpet-bombing the world back to the middle ages. Even then you'd still have people with more than others that woukd still be a continuation of the current economy.

Quote
3. create a more equal balance of the use of resources, food, water etc,
No. why should it?

Quote
4. create less control from governments and corporations to the people,
In a very small ammount. Law enforcement will still find the way to coerce people. Corporations will continue to excercise control on society same as always
Quote

Quote
5. stop the bubble of constant inflation, prices of everything going up, wages same or go down
Most countries arn't suffering from this tbh. It's a fairly "rare and managed" issue this day and age. Bitcoin itself alone can do nothing about this as it's merely a store of value. the economic health of the underlying system is more complex than simply looking at currency.

It would make it much harder for governments to print obscene ammounts of money, prevenring run-away hyper-inflation. again a rare-ish problem.

Quote
6. a society where people can work to better themselves and not just be slaves to the working man
Not sure what you mean here. we live in such a society.

Quote
7. a somewhat utopia where the people can control things better and a world where people would be more happy
Nope, bitcoin does nothing of the kind

Quote
8. a society where people share things with each other and help.
This already happens massively in the human society. Greed and generosity have little to do with the form value is represeneted.

Quote
9 a total change in society, even if it means to change the way we live, less materialistic, less consumers
No. why should that happen because of bitcoin?
Quote
thoughts on this? think this is possible by just a change in acceptance and how wealth is done or distribution of all resources

Why do you think all this? How do you justify all these fundamental changes? Bitcoin is a form of value, not the messiah
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is forbidden for Muslims on: April 03, 2018, 05:55:55 PM
Under current regulations or what they call 'fatwa', even though bitcoin is considered the currency of the future and part of technological development, bitcoin cannot be separated from one of the elements that can make it forbidden to use. The element is uncertainty. Bitcoin is considered to have this element because the price is so volatile that people like gambling when buying and selling bitcoins, and gambling was forbidden for muslims. how do you think about this?

anybody ignorant enough to be religious has no place in the future, so good riddance. Even those most fundamentalist will come around once the system becomes mainstream (if it ever does).
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possibility of Bitcoin's value to be zero on: March 30, 2018, 03:38:30 AM
I'm sorry but I don't need bad comments from guys like you. There is a freedom to express opinion if you think it does not suit you well then don't bother to comment. There are more individuals who like to express there take on this topic and I don't need yours just to ridicule my insight.

From who? Guys who have been around here 6+ years, with plenty of experience in what they are talking about? Who do you want comments from then?
I am perfectly happy with you sharing your insight, but that isn't what you did in this thread. insignt needs reasoning, developement. you simply went for the quick&easy Death call.

I'd love to see your point elaborated.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possibility of Bitcoin's value to be zero on: March 29, 2018, 12:15:57 PM
I can't understand if some folk on here are criminally stupid, incapable of simple observation, or genuinely malicious.

What trend is going to zero? elaborate your "opinions", or don't express them at all. You don't "think" when you write stuff like this, devoid of reason or value.

To answer your question, it's possible for Bitcoin to be Worth 0. It's also possible for it to be Worth 100,000. As far as trend goes, a trend isn't made of half hours, it's made of years.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everybody knows about Bitcoin. We won’t see 20k again. Why? Here! on: March 17, 2018, 05:38:45 PM
Why do we keep pretending we know where Bitcoin's going to be in the future?

Why do we keep saying we'll see ATHs, or that we'll never rise again... without even the barest of minimum supporting pieces of evidence shown?
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fuck "Crypto" - Why I stopped dealing with it and you probably should too on: March 17, 2018, 04:38:21 PM
@CryptoPlumplori spoken like a person who wasn't able to keep a good life balance.

"this" is nothing different than everything else, in life you need balance. balanced time usage, balanced stress, balanced risk, balanced relationships, etc.
It's fine to be here, it's fine to try and play your hands as well as you think you can. as long as you're not here EXPECTING to become something or someone. unless you expect to be INFALLIBLE. But that's exactly the same in every aspect of life.

If you're a failure, you'll be a failure wherever you are. and vice versa.
