efudd,

Not trying to be a pest, but just curious as to an estimated release date on the Z11 firmware?

Thanks for all your work.

Thinking about buying 1 to solo mine for fun.

Anyone suggest the best coin/pool for this? I know my chances are slim.

Swing for Debian/Ubuntu Linux: https://github.com/ZencashOfficial/zencash-swing-wallet-ui/releases/tag/0.85.2

ANN page is updated with new links Wink

Hi, I updated my WIN Swing Full Wallet and reindexed it. Now I get this error and it won't open. Any ideas...
''A general unexpected critical error has occurred:
error: couldn't connect to server: unknown (code -1)
(make sure server is running and you are connecting to the correct RPC port)
See the console output for more detailed information!''

Should I just download the new wallet above and put my wallet.dat file in it? Is it a binaries issue? FYI I have nodes.

Mineority couldn't make it. Sorry for anyone that signed with them.

Squirrels, FPGA.land, Zetheron will be next. They are all connected.

Anyone that hasn't got their refund for the 1525's, better hurry. They all are probably bleeding out.

Too bad the little guys can't compete with Bitmain, etc. Check out the F1 FPGA miners. Clearly looks like Bitmain.

12 algos to choose from....not waiting on 1 dude to come out with a stream at double the price for a unit.

"Clearly looks like Bitmain" - Because they're from China?

Interface looks like Bitmain. Ever owned one?

Bye Bye squirrels...

Way cheaper and easier than this op. Bitmain wins again and won't charge 4%.

A dropdown menu rather than waiting for a bitstream.

Bitmain is going public and will control every Algo soon. Most cryptos are deciding that forking isn't worth it, [ETH, ZEN, etc.] Monero seems to be the only major project dodging ASICs. So does 6k justify the ability to mine a fork? I'm not a huge Bitmain fan, but let's face it, they have the market cornered and have the ability to undercut competition and install the latest chips. What happens when the VU13P chip becomes perhaps overtaken by the Stratix 10 next year? Will ONE 6k FPGA ever give customers their ROI? In addition, ASICs are plug-and-play, has anyone read through the PDF on the downloads page to get these FPGA's up and running???

I doubt Bitmain will go for small market-cap algorithms (coins) like on Neoscrypt or Lyra2z. Only when they become big like Decred.

But that’s the catch also, FPGA’s will be fine until the coins are small, so low returns overall, as they become bigger, they will attract ASICs.

Lyra2 ASIC...

Monero is irrelevant to FPGA's.  I have never considered it a viable option and I am not doing any development on it or any of its variants.  Notice that I didn't even list it in my original April 30 post.  There are enough algorithms (without Monero or any cryptonight variant) to support 25000 FPGA's now, and at least one top-40 coin can make >$30/day with a VCU1525/BCU1525.  However, unlike April 30th, I will no longer post information about any 'good' coins until the algorithms are actually ready for download.  I don't expect this type of information to cause anyone to buy an FPGA, but I will say those people who took the risk will be VERY HAPPY THEY DID.  By the time the super profitable algorithms are released, it will be too late for the naysayers to acquire hardware, as the hardware will all be owned by the early adopters.

The same goes for people who bought Bittware CVP-13's in the group order.  A risky choice, but they will be very happy they took the risk.

If you consider that a BCU1525 can hash certain ASIC algorithms like Skein at almost 3 times the rate of a Baikal X/X10, and also do very well on things like Bytom and the equihash variants, there are tons of future possibilities.

Just to be realistic, I am sure you are brilliant but Bitmain can crush anything you are doing. Especially with with continued delays. They have billions of funds and 100's of talented coders/programmers.

In addition, you are saying no hardware will be available after these batches? That just gives Bitmain another chance to leapfrog you.

Each delay gives Bitmain a chance to create their own plug and play hardware, and on each delay, mining difficulty will rise and profits will fall. So any numbers being put out know are irrelevant, especially when 5,000 units hit the market.

You can get a Z9 mini on Ebay for about $700 with PSU [1 sold at that price 4 days ago], and net about $5-7/day overclocked. In addition, ASICs are plug-and-play, has anyone read through the PDF on the downloads page to get these FPGA's up and running???

These guys are in hot water come Oct. 1st, if you don't have your product or refund.

Possibly looking at bankruptcy.

Get your refund while you can! They are already switching to selling a new FPGA before the 1525 ships out. The 1525 was supposed to be shipped out last month. Wonder how long people will wait for ''batch 2'' on your pre-order money?

FTC is investigating...

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: DIY FPGA Mining rig for any algorithm with fast ROI on: September 20, 2018, 05:32:47 PM

You were refunded on the same day as the majority of other refunds. It had nothing to do with your complaints.

@senseless, Who is this majority and how are they better then those who has not been refunded yet? Why hasn't I been refunded although it has been over a month since the official inquiry? I paid in fiat, 3 months ago, requested a refund around 40 days ago. Still nothing.
Same thing with the purchase at  SQRL, I have been waiting for the same time. Are there any preferences who gets refunded first?
What are those?
Moreover, now we are getting closer to the deadline when you will start shipping and has not seen refunds yet. But the idea of refund due to delay is to get the money back  well in advance of delayed fulfillment. It is not about requesting a refund for fun and waiting together with those who waits for  actual shippment.

60-70% of refunds that have been requested have been sent. Keep in mind, the funds for your board were sent to Xilinx. Xilinx hasn't sent us any funds back for the refunds. There is no preference to which store gets refunded first, the queue is the same and the order is based on the order requested. We are expecting to fulfill the remaining refunds in the next 7-14 days.

Can you send me a PM with your order number? I'll let you know where on the refund queue you're sitting.

Hmmm, and I'm the bad guy?

I'm going to bed. You can wait til tomorrow Senseless. Nice handle by the way. lol

Are you still sleeping?  Care to share how did you get the refund?

I PM'd Senseless and he didn't respond. Ask him.

I got the refund because I complained.

Research, research, research....

Watch frrom the 4 minute on....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOfD0GvQE4w

Voskcoin calls out 1 of these people behind this thread/buy ''may'' be unethical. He actually compares these people to Bitconnect.

Says her name is, ''Kristy-Leigh Minehan''.

How many companies can 1 person have time for?
-FPGA Land
-Mineority
-Oh God Girl...ETHlargement
-Acorn
-Now Bitcoin Interest?

Who on this forum has 5 jobs and are passionate about them all? Haven't seen her promoting the original 1525 order. Seems like they have moved on.

Hope everyone who wants refunds on their 1525, 3 grand order get it. They are getting close to their deadline...

Do we have any legal recourse against OPEN?

I didn't get any bounty tokens or the 2-1 airdrop?

Dumb question, but is staking or masternodes something that may unfold in the future? I know they are POW right now.
Thanks

Are the registration for the 3rd airdrop already open?

Did you receive a 1st airdrop? It should be 2 to 1 - meaning if you have 100 OPEN, you should get additional 200 OPEN?

i'm registered twice, for 1st and for 2nd airdrop but still got only one time and some ridiculous amount6 which i can not relate with my tokens amount. And what about 3rd airdrop - i didn't even see any announcement about it.

I have also received some irrational amounts, which I don't understand.

Was your amount of the airdrop bigger or smaller than the hold at the time? What is the percentage of the coins held?

I have not received any tokens from the 2-1 airdrop and held them in my MEW account the entire time from snapshot 1.
Any ideas?
Thanks

#2) This was a group buy with Xilinx supplying the products. The delay in shipping was due to component acquisition problems on Xilinx's end.
---Don't shift blame. You should have had a back-up plan. Own your mistakes.

...

---I did buy the Xilinx product you offered. I mine with GPU's for a living. Sold a lot of GPU's to get this product in August. Now sitting on my hands, wondering if you are going to
pay my lost wages after 8/31? Whitefire advertised $20-$50 per day...

Rest of your points aside, seems like you want them to own their mistakes AND yours. "You should have a back up plan". Whether or not they broke the law or plan to break it, if this is your living and you took a huge risk by buying a bunch of hardware from a bunch of anonymous people online? If you were to get scammed, the legal responsibility is their's OF COURSE, but not your loss of income; they didn't tell you to sell part of your income to buy their product. That was the risk you chose to take, and if you don't have a back up plan that's on you, not them, just like if they don't make delivery or refund people in the legally defined reasonable amount of time, that's on them.

(Not defending or attacking either you or them, just pointing out a flaw in logic)

Finally, someone with a brain. I respect your opinion. Never blamed anyone for selling my GPU's, however Whitefire told me he is trying to sell all his, because FPGA is the way. They are all related...guilty by association.

Got my refund. Just had to throw a fit to get it.

And yes, I want someone to man up and say sorry, I apologize.

To everyone that's reading, I had to beg for my refund for 2 weeks. They lied and said I would have it last week.

I will try to address everyone.

First and foremost, how is Federal Law = FUD?

Now, I will address Senseless. I didn't ignore your points, but I will answer them now.

#1) Many people have working FPGA, including me.
---Of course you do, you are part of the bulk order. If someone helps put together a 5,000 unit bulk order worth millions, of course Xilinx will send you a demo or two.
Are you saying some people from batch 1 have received their 1525?

#2) This was a group buy with Xilinx supplying the products. The delay in shipping was due to component acquisition problems on Xilinx's end.
---Don't shift blame. You should have had a back-up plan. Own your mistakes.

#3) Refunds are being processed. It will take time.
---That's good, but there are deadlines by law. I'm not pulling my information out of thin air. Federal law is Federal law.

#4) The sales for the CVP-13 board was another group buy for bittware hardware. (bittware is doing the production / fabrication there)
---Are you saying you/David/Zetheron/Mineority are not involved in this bulk order?

#5) The lyra2z bitstream we've developed will be released when boards are shipped. We're actively mining on our (ONE) prototype / development unit
---Whitefire said that a much more profitable bitstream would be available Aug. 11th if I recall correctly. Where is it?

---Sorry if your competitor bought your components. That is not our fault. Again, don't shift blame and have a back-up plan.

---I did buy the Xilinx product you offered. I mine with GPU's for a living. Sold a lot of GPU's to get this product in August. Now sitting on my hands, wondering if you are going to
pay my lost wages after 8/31? Whitefire advertised $20-$50 per day...

---Don't work for Bitmain. Just an American trying to buy American, but got screwed. I have the receipt if you want to see it.

---Not 1 person from your outfit has taken ownership and just apologized.

On to GPUhoarder.

---You are absolutely right. You have 26 days to deliver the 1525 without any FTC repercussions.

---Yes, referring to the CVP order. Christian from Bittware said $5,000 max with all the bells and whistles. He actually said probably less with a large group buy.
If you are breaking even or losing money on this endeavor, god bless you and your 4%, 24/7 dev fee on all units. Thousands of dollars a day to pay your programmers,
accountants, taxes, etc.

---Yes anger. Bottom line you didn't deliver, and no one is man enough to take responsibility.

To Elder.

---Threats to censor negative online reviews/feedback are prohibited by the FTC. Look it up.

Let's go by the law, not FUD fella's...
