1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 14, 2017, 10:12:05 PM
I use pool dwarfpool and i have e-mail send when miner stop.
dwarfpool setting for e-mail is   : write email instead password.
Claymore readme:  parameter password is  -epsw
My setting is   -epsw xxx@xx.xx   but when miner stop (crash) nothing happens. Miner not work hour and not e-mail send.
Why?

My mail from dwarf ended up in spam. Have you checked there?

Is there some kind of calculator?
Eg, testing GPU miner atm but have no idea in terms of XPM what to expect

Is this normal?
7 min of work and not a single share?!
The card is 6970

Sad to say but the 6xxx cards are not supported.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore XPM GPU Miner discussion on: May 08, 2014, 01:42:19 PM
I have 10 x grid Core 2 duo + 5 cards 795 or 5 cards 270x.
With CPU core 2 duo speed for 5 cards is very slow.
But with Celeron G Generation 2, 3 is good speed for 6 cards.
Claymore, please review and optimize this case for next version.
Thanks very much.

What about "-ss 2" option? Is it not enough?

I'm using -ss 2, if <3 card it's ok but 5 cards slower, can I use other option?
I think core2duo too slow. I use -ss 2 -t 8 for 2*280x on core2duo
but Athlone 2 270x handle 6*280x

I know core 2 duo too slow, so I ask Claymore for optimize it because I have 10 x grid [core2duo, 4G RAM, 5 X 270) Sad

Ok, I will add -ss 3 option.

What is the actual difference between -ss 0-2? I just use default and have never thought about it. Do I miss out on prime-power?

Can please someone give link to catalyst 14.3?

14.4 works with this miner, just download at AMD's website.

Yes, but 14.4 sucks when you want to switch back to SGminer. I just experienced first hand Sad
I'm now going to give 14.3 a try.

Thanks for the link!

           v 6.0                            v 7.0
280X   189k 4ch & TRT 250 ->    205k 4ch & TRT 230  + 8%
7950   146k 4ch & TRT 323 ->    163k 4ch & TRT 290  +11%
270X   115k 4ch & TRT 420 ->    124k 4ch & TRT 384  + 8%
7850     85k 4ch & TRT 544 ->     91k 4ch & TRT 514  + 7%

At what speed do you run your cards (especially 280x)?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] New Primecoin Pool + GPU Miner on: May 07, 2014, 04:23:17 AM
Does anyone have a link to 14.3 drivers for windows 8.1? At AMDs page I only find 14.4 now...
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Primecoin GPU miner: up to 2.9 CPD (3.0 XPM) on a 280x +FREE solo version on: May 05, 2014, 04:22:27 AM
It is unstable or should I do something to get it stable?
It's quite stable in our rigs. Have you tried running it on lower clocks?

I am running my 280xs in 1030/1500 mhz. Should be fine right?

Been running the free version for a couple of days now but it seems very unstable. Fresh win 8.1 installation, 14.4 drivers. Sometimes it crashes the miner, sometimes I see that the computer just have restarted. (and I can only run 5 of my 6 cards, error code 43).

It is unstable or should I do something to get it stable?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Primecoin GPU miner: up to 2.9 CPD (3.6 XPM) on a 280x +FREE solo version on: May 02, 2014, 06:43:55 AM
I run the free version. Just downloaded and started the .bat file. Is that all to it? It is running by the looks of it. Anyway, how do I see the number of connections on the wallet, because I cannot have the wallet running at the same time right? (It asked me to close the wallet when I tried to start it the first time).

More technical. How does the miner know how to connect to the rcp-port? I have a custom user/pass combo. And how does it know to what address in the wallet to put the block money? Nothing in the bat-file points to rcp/wallet/me.

Did I miss something and am I mining so my eventual block will be gone forever?

of course why not...  mine is latest cat 14.4 running 4x7990 rig and that's 8 gpus... Cheesy

With the 14.3 driver, is it possible to have 6 GPUs?

Maybe I need to be clearer. Is it possible to have 6 cards?
On the 13.12 drivers you needed modded drivers for win 7 to even accept all cards.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore XPM GPU Miner discussion on: April 28, 2014, 07:21:37 AM
48 hours solo I dug 8+7 = 15block * 7,67xpm = 115XPM / 2day = 57XPM/day
24 hours on the Ypool I found 8 blocks received only 43XPM

I mined solo for about 36hours, found nothing (6 cards 280x).
As soon as I mine with ypool I see in the statistics that I find multiple blocks a day. I hade over 11 connections with the wallet.
Anyone else having solo issues?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore XPM GPU Miner discussion on: April 25, 2014, 08:37:01 AM
3.1b performance

R9 280x - 350TRT
R9 290  - 250TRT

290 is 1.4 times faster

cgminer

R9 280x - 720Kh/s
R9 290  - 850Kh/s

290 is 1.18 times faster.

Claymore i have plenty more 280xs then 290s. how much faster do you think you can get them 280xs?

Today I will release new version with good speedup for 280x, 270/270x and 7xxx cards.

Awesome, any idea how much faster?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore XPM GPU Miner discussion on: April 24, 2014, 02:41:20 PM
Claymore, What happens with pool?
i have message "xpt: disconnected, auto reconnect in 10 second"

It seems ypool was down for a short while.
Up and running now right?

18  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange Now Open with USD, EUR, BTC, LTC, XRP, NMC on: January 24, 2014, 03:35:16 PM
Having the same problem, still waiting for the bitcoins I deposited this morning to arrive on my account. Glad to read I'm not the only one having problems. And yes, I saw the red notice, but since it was displayed on the funding/euro page I didn't expect the bitcoin transfer to be down as well.

I filed a ticket too and got the same response about the "high volume of support requests". So I guess I will just wait for the service to come up again now. :-/

Did exactly the same. Saw the notice on fiat and since no warning was on BTC I submitted. When I saw the transaction had over 50 verifications and no coins was in my account I got worried. Had only heard good about Kraken before...
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: December 19, 2013, 07:54:12 AM
Is it to our advantage or disadvantage to accept more miners into this pool? I'm newbie to mining. Thx in advance.

I think it is an advantage, but probably the pool management could become a bit complex, due to the fact I think there could be the need to balance the load among different servers.

Anyway, h2o recently introduced a new eu server, to better serve eu miners, so this can help

Can you please let me know the address? I live in India and currently I am connecting stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333 and using 8080 as failover.

I would prefer to connect to the EU address.

Just add eu. before middlecoin.

eg. tcp://eu.middlecoin.com:3333
