Well, it doesn't look exactly like the FSM. But it's cute and has a high value of brand recognition. Any suggestions on how we could modify it into FSM direction?
The contest showed, that many people didn't recognize we are talking about the FlyingSpaghettiMonster here. I imagine it would help the coins popularity a lot if we would rename it to i.e. "FlyingSpaghettiMonster Coin" (FSM). Everybody would know what it is about and not thinking this is a coin of chinese restaurants.
What do you guys think? What does HisHolyNoodliness think?
+1 I too think the name FlyingSpaghettiMonster would say more. That makes sense, but it's a pretty long name and it's not easy to spell spaghetti for people. Could that be a concern?

Do we really think number 2 is the best??? Sorry whoever made it, but it doesn't even represent what the coin represents (the flying spaghetti monster). Are we changing the coin to the ramen noodle coin?
that's what i was thinking, maybe some people don't know what the FSM is? Must not. At least a FSM one is winning now.

I received a small payment to my wallet of type "Mined" but my Stake field still shows 0. How is that possible? I'm using wallet version 1.3.3.1
The same thing is happening to me. Zero stake even though I should have some, and I am getting stake mined coins.

Just a tiny reminder. voted. Btw: It's not good to remind the admin of the poll, that eac is the best. He said he will substract all "EAC BEST"-calls from the vote-count. Updated www.earthcoin.eu mirrored to twitter https://twitter.com/EarthCoinNewsLooks great! Also, I'm not sure if you're doing this, but it looks like we need to build a bigger audience for the twitter. Everyday follow like 50 relevant people and then wait a couple days to see if they follow back. If they don't, remove them using justunfollow.com. Then repeat. It’s important to remove those who don’t follow you because twitter will stop you from following more people if your follow to followed ratio is too high (wow there are a lot of follows there). You can build follows quickly by doing that, which would help with our marketing. I was considering starting a twitter to build one faster, but we already have a couple and should focus on them.

Some noob questions about the wallet..
Do I have to update or install the new wallet? Or can I just stick with the older version?
+ How do I update without losing the coins in my old wallet?
When I update, I just get the new file. I delete the old one and then load the new one. It updates it and keeps the wallet.dat file so that you don't lose anything. I always backup the wallet.dat beforehand though, just in case. I'm not sure if you can keep the old one though.

I'd like to suggest a wallet feature. If I'm understanding correctly, the wallet has 100 pre-generated addresses that are being used every time I send coins or create a receive address myself. If I back up my wallet when I have used 90 addresses, then send coins 20 times, and accidentally format my drive and lose the wallet, my backup wallet is not valid anymore. If this is true and how it works, I suggest that the wallet displays a warning when it has generated new addresses that tell the user that the old backup is not valid anymore and that the user should make a new backup immediately.
I had given some thought to this as well. To take this one step further, this limitation should be removed. I'm not sure what the mechanics are, but having your backup invalidated after a set amount of transactions occurs sounds counter-intuitive. At the very least, if this limitation can't be removed, the limit should be significantly increased. The Armory wallet for Bitcoin only has to be backed up once. That would be ideal!

This coin making a deserved comeback Good, wouldn't mine seeing a 150x boost like the last rally. I think its about time to think about branding of PHS going froward and would appreciate any feedback. This is an open project and should be a team effort, not just one individual. I know some posts have said they are interested in doing this. Obviously we need a consistent image and message, and would be best if we had someone to do this full time, or at least put the time in to do it. I know a few also wanting to slowly accumulate (ie sleeper) and then proceed. PHS stake is a simple 50%, no abstract math algorithms here, and its main feature. Also some are interested in changing the look of the client and this is not really very difficult as long as someone can put the graphic work in and something we can agree on. Open to suggestions and thoughts of how to go forward. PHS might be more successful being more than a one man show/skeleton crew.(I do know some are actively helping). If we have weak spots or areas no one can contribute the time to,then PHS is going to need some donations for bounties to fill in these gaps as well. Why don't we put up the new designs to a vote in a poll? PHS is a great coin and could be doing much better. It just needs a stronger marketing presence after the graphic work is all done.

If the Holy Noodliness agrees to use the logo contests winner officially, I will open that logo contest thread, create a new NDL wallet for the bounty and moderate that thread until the contest has finished. There's no need to rush. Current hashrate is stable and I see growing activity in this thread Arrrghhh sounds like a great idea. Please post yer NDL address for the bounty wallet 'ere me old shipmate. Slowgin - some NDL for you for being first off the blocks too! Post yer NDL. NVRsiUxYsiNeEJat2NexvV7sSdGCDt2LNv Thanks

Can somebody explain to me one thing. First of all, why did the price go up, then the payout increased by 5 times? Shouldn't it go down?
And why is the price going down now? Shouldn't it actually rise, after the x5 payout day?
it is not going down... it is stable at 200 atm and it went up because the 5x day was already priced in. people who wanted to sell did before 5x in expectation of lower prices people who wanted to buy waited until 5x had started, in expectation of lower prices ergo: prices rose It seemed to me like it was just one huge pumper buying up everything rather than many people buying slowly though.

It looks like everything you are seeing on cryptsy is delayed around 10 minutes. Make sure you want what you order because it is impossible to cancel it seems.
It's true. It's impossible to do anything on it right now yup, I just got screwed yet again. Today must be amazing for some people, but turning out to be terrible for me. I zig, things zag, and the cryptsy lag caused me another bad move.... I was doing well for a while until it got laggy for me too. I just pulled out for the day.
