Something that bugged me the other day - why did they quickly take BAT off of the BTC pairing when that frigging garbage FLAP has NO buy orders and 15 BTC in 1 sat sell orders?

Seems a bit out of order...
Why did it take them 2 weeks to get bat listed?
It even took them a few days when bat was #1

The only conclusion is that cryptsy are evil drug dealers and batman busts their business - this is why they hate his coin.

No that's fine. The blockchain has random data in it that can trigger av.

i've never found it before when scanning

Never use someone elses services for vanity generation
Don't spread bullshit because you don't know how to create split key vanity addresses without the need to trust the creator in any way.

At Vanity Pool you can have a vanity address created for you in a secure way (split key technique) that only you can use this address properly, no one else can steal your Bitcoins from such a vanity address. No one else than you has the necessary private key for such a properly created split key vanity address.

I wonder how uninformed the OP is...

On request I can make any valid 2-8 chars vanity address securely for the recipient, it depends on your offer and how difficult the address turns out to be. I will use the split key technique, so no need to trust me in any way.
Tough a technology might exist, You shouldent trust people to implement it right or even use it. I'v seen people get scammed over vanity address services many times before.

Sure your post seems legit Smiley
You say people can trust online vanity services but offer your own services.
You offer a 8 char vanity when you clearly couldn't get a 8 char vanity for yourself

7  Economy / Digital goods / [WT-GIVE-] my discount for CoinsForTech FOR FREE on: April 04, 2014, 06:16:30 PM
I had some orders from them for phones and a smart watch.

They were kind to give me a 5$ discount coupon for future orders and I asked for permission to share with close friends.

This is not advertising for them but if you are already planning on ordering from CoinsForTech you can PM me and ill pass you the 5$ discount as "my friend" Smiley

Lol you guys should stop selling at 1 satoshi, somone in the last hour has purchased 1 BTC worth of bat at 2 Satoshis.
Have you guys realy not heard the news about what is about to come?

What is that?

Ill give you a hint some major shit is about to go down.

ahaha ok.

Can I search that on google and find out what is going on?  Roll Eyes

Well it would be unlikely you would find anything on that, as all this is the decision of one person with a large volume of Btc as disclosed by private messages.
anything before the 11th?
Thats when the new galaxy goes out and i need some btc for orders

When trading bitcoin for cash or food most people dont wait for confirmations.
When I do that I want for the btc to appear at my unconfirmed balance, shake hands and leave.
What would it take for a scammer to send fake funds that will appear at unconfirmed but will never confirm?

Provided the sender added a sufficient fee, it is very difficult to successfully double-spend the payment in such a way that the merchant loses the funds. It is just not worth the effort for small purchases like the ones made in stores. Simply receiving the payment and checking that the fee is correct is sufficient.

I recently wrote an article about this subject, why it is safe enough to accept transactions without any confirmations and what potential measures you could take to further reduce the risk. See http://bitcoin.rannasha.net/?p=34 for more on that.
The only way to send you "fake" money that would never confirm is to double spend all one's balance once to one's-self and again to the recepient before the next block is found?

Not impressed that much, on http://bitcoinvanitygen.com/ u can get 9 (!) letters non case sensitive and 7 letters case sensitive easy with couple clicks.
To be honest for me this longest addresses are quite expensive but probably not for everyone.

You must consider difficulty of address by couple factors, not only lenght but if it has numbers in it and if it is case sensitive which changes everything from my tests.

My address: 1veLkroTLLvky76tJEKr2VmEpEPtdjkJZ (im unlucky coz i can't get all same lower case letters or all upper case letters because of how bitcoin addresses are made)
Good luck with that site if you want your btc stolen Smiley

Ohh and, 1btc for 7 letters? What a rip off.

I would bow down to a 1337HaXoR vanity. just 6years for 50% Cheesy

How slow is your computer?

@ 20 MKey / sec (GeForce 660 Ti), it's more like 20 days for 50%

Someone with better hardware then me could probably do it in a week.

Non case sensitive would take a couple days for me. If you have like 4 top of the line GPUs you could do it in half a day.
windows vm on a mac air. 200kKey Wink

Sold the last of my rigs a week ago

Can you please clarify what that means?

Think of it like I was running 12 different search engins looking to find:
1FucksBosMzr
1FucksBossMzr
1FucksBoszMzr

1FuckSBosMzr
1FuckSBossMzr
1FuckSBoszMzr

1FuckxBosMzr
1FuckxBossMzr
1FuckxBoszMzr

1FuckXBosMzr

And how long did it take?
To a regular computer? Should have taken about 1million years Smiley
To my super computer? arround 4million years Wink
Im running my vanitys on premade lists of words. I sat down and wrote thousands of short sentences and the computer is running 24/7 looking for any1 of them

1234567ACtsSyTJ9CXQC92LqgsxG1GVBNk best address ftw

anybody know where i can buy vanity addresses (other than vanitypool)?
Dont ever buy vanity!
People I know have lost so much money of sites with great reputation that have that "we give you half the key before, half the key later that way we wont ever know your private".
