They probably did a md5/Sha1 with no salt and no rehashing - Idiots.
It was SHA-512 with individual salt. Yeah sure it was The hacker is either a psychic triple handed ninja king or you didn't protect the passwords. One of them sounds better - but the other one is the logical choice. |

I don't think this will happen. Even if we rework all our site, solve all possible security issues - people's trust is lost, as i think. This makes me so sad. Hm, maybe it was mistake. Some of them was DEcrypted by hacker. If you know hashed password, within 5-20 hours you can decrypt it into unencrypted one. There's the whole rest of the Internet And thus the birth of DOGE. If a coin doesnt suck, BitCoinTalk will be be well aware of it. Getting people to post Crypsy, CoinedUp, Coinex,...etc requests generally just annoys the exchange owners. They arent stupid and dont care about people who got paid .00001 USD to spam their request forums. Tell me my friend, how does a new miner choose where to point his hash power? Read the ANN post, make an educated guess as to whether its worth your mining time. The giveaway amounts most of the time probably dont cover the bandwidth / electricity costs / disk costs of installing a new QT client. Sure you enter ANNs and check the post. what next? You think a coin looks great, yey! but wait a minute, it was announced 3 weeks ago and it has 3 pages of posts. NEXTTTTTT. ok so point 1) size does count point 2) 99-99.999% of users here mine for profit, not for donating. how do you judge the chance of a coin getting on an exchange? |
