I know you guys are busy but any chance you can update the owner's list now that it seems to be sold out? It seems to be over a week out of date.
Thanks.

It should have been I think. It looks like MWNinja paid out the other GBs, I got my GB1 dividend.
Hopefully he will get GB3 done soon, I am sure he is busy.

If anyone has an iOS device and uses the app "Coin Ticker", they recently release a new version with a new "Coin Request" option on the "Settings" page.
I already requested DTC but it could use some more votes.
I figure any exposure to new eyes is good.

Any update on the count?
I was looking for 7 more shares to bring my total to 10. Thanks.
Holding the last shares for you. As an owner you get priority over new people. This Group Buy is now closed! Thanks everyone for making our launch a huge success! Thanks. I have sent payment for 7 shares with txid b2ad8a8769464c6b111dce9225830b48977fa61422e5d257d2bfeb6b7aab5431 . This should bring my total shares to 10. Keep up the great work!

anyway to set the number of threads? like -t 4?
Yeah, it seems to be -t Usage: jhPrimeminer.exe [options] Performance Options: -t <num> The number of threads for mining (default = detected cpu cores) For most efficient mining, set to number of CPU cores

I have been testing 5 or 6 linux machines pointed at a linux wallet and no crashes yet (only been about an hour).
I am seeing 0 Total/Valid shares from all miners though:
Val/h 0.000 - PPS: 65514 - 4ch: 15298.6 - 5ch: 1264.9 - 6ch: 114.7 - SPS:85.086 - ACC:683 Val/h 0.000 - PPS: 66914 - 4ch: 15309.3 - 5ch: 1266.9 - 6ch: 115.6 - SPS:86.998 - ACC:696 =============================================================== ---- New Block: 98915 - Diff: 9.762668 / 9.762668 ---- Total/Valid shares: [ 0 / 0 ] - Max diff: 8.21370 ---- 6-chain count: 72 - 6ch/h: 115.387 ---- 7-chain count: 8 - 7ch/h: 12.821 ---- 8-chain count: 1 - 8ch/h: 1.603 ---- 9-chain count: 0 - 9ch/h: 0.000 ---- 10-chain count: 0 - 10ch/h: 0.000 ===============================================================
Does that mean that something is wrong or is that just a pool type stat/protocol that doesn't exist yet?
From what I gather, there is no way to see the total hashing power going through a wallet is there?

Did anyone happen to find a compatible linux port of the jhPrimeminer source working for datacoin?
Mumus told that he will implement some fixes to current Linux port of jhPrimeminer and release build instructions for it shortly. Awesome news.

Is there any optimized linux client?
I would also appreciate an optimized linux client. Thanks.

I think you can point jhProtominer at Datacoin-qt, not sure.
If anyone wants to try:
Help -> Debug console -> Console and type in: setgenerate true 0
Then point the miner at the ip:port.
Will test aswell soon

I tried to point jhProtominer at a local datacoind without luck. I am trying all this stuff on linux CLI, and don't have a QT wallet built yet as I am on a mac. All the versions of jhProtominer that I found are trying to use the "x.pushthrough(xpt) protocol" , I thought DTC required the getwork method now?

While my C++ skills are rusty, I can provide server(s) and run a pool if a DTC pool software is ever released. I have been trying to get a bunch of miners pointed at 1 remote datacoind to serve out work. I have the latest datacoin and datacoin-hp with getwork(), and an old version of primeminer. Watching the wire, I can see the work json data object get served to the primeminer, but the primeminer is choking on the object it looks like. Hopefully someone is having better luck than I. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

I have also subscribed to this thread to keep up with new server developments.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the calculator. I started the client about 12 hours ago and found 2 blocks so far on an old poweredge 1950 I had sitting in a datacenter. The getmininfinfo reads: { "blocks" : 68380, "chainspermin" : 3, "chainsperday" : 5.62366477, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 8.99369812, "errors" : "", "generate" : true, "genproclimit" : 4, "primespersec" : 771, "pooledtx" : 0, "sieveextensions" : 9, "sievepercentage" : 10, "sievesize" : 1000000, "testnet" : false } The calculator said ~24days to find a block. Even with the 2 or 3x speed of now, am I just super lucky or am I missing something. Is the chainsperday per each thread by any chance?

Thanks. I was able to get datacoind built on a centos5 host (old I know) with a bit of work. PM me if you want more details.

FYI the codes should be 6 characters (with no commas) and are case sensitive.
Some people were having issues adding devices for the last few hours. I believe I have fixed that nasty bug just a few minutes ago, so please try and add them again if you get a minute. Thanks.
Keep the feedback coming.
