1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Asia on: April 23, 2018, 03:01:53 PM
Bitcoin has been liberately growing in Asia. The main factor why is that it provides most of the people the means of earning. Here in the Philippines, Bitcoin has already been recognized, it has been a source of income by many. Unfortunately, just a week ago, Bitcoin was used in a scam, this was aired all over the news and it left a bad image especially to those who know nothing about Bitcoin.
Nevertheless, a developing country like ours I think should welcome and accept Bitcoin as it will surely gives us great opportunities.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to improve Bitcoin Community on: April 22, 2018, 02:52:52 PM
I believe that spreading honest information(it may be good or bad) is really a huge thing to improve bitcoin community. It really is a big help especially for us newbies who are still learning the bitcoin world. I've read a lot of quality informations here that is giving great ideas, advices, and techniques if you're new and just starting.
In order for us to improve the bitcoin community I think unity is what we need. We have to figure out the ways to avoid hacking and stealing of account in bitcoin to make sure it's safety. Then to have a big number of bitcoin users and investors we should promote it in a good way wherein it's informative and can encourage others to join.

I strongly agree with what you said, unity is very important. Helping other members here by giving accurate answers to their questions would really mean a lot. We all know that most of here are learning from the threads/discussions on forums. I've seen some posts that are quite discouraging and I think thats kinda unhealthy in a community.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you start from zero cash and make a living with the opportunities in crypto? on: April 22, 2018, 02:36:10 PM
Is not my case, I do have some savings so I didn´t start from absolutely nothing, but I had not much to start with. I am having a decent go at cryptos and I think it may be possible to make a living... What could be a good strategy?

It's actually possible mate, you can earn money without any capital to invest on making a good living with crypto currencies. I started working with crypto with nothing, but i try to work for it by participating to a signature and social media campaigns that paids me bitcoin or altcoins, and i used this opportunity to make my life much comfortable and easier to live.

Statements like yours really boost my eagerness to strive harder in learning and be knowledgeable in Bitcoin. It really inspires me reading posts telling how they start without investing money, yet they're earning a lot now. Aside from I've nothing much to invest, trading for me is quite risky that's why my main plan is to join signature campaigns. But of course I'd have to ranked up first. 😊
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you value Bitcoin ? on: April 19, 2018, 10:29:59 PM
I value bitcoin as a real money. A known businessman once said in an article I've read that Bitcoin might be a reserved currency in the near future. Once you invested in Bitcoin, let your investment grow. Don't get affected when the red day comes by selling what you have, you wait for the right time when you can generate huge profit.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine a cashless society on: April 18, 2018, 01:23:34 PM
How about those small business like those cigarette vendor's and others, can they avail that machine with surely high cost? Im from Philippines and I cant vision a cashless society in this country maybe in other rich country this could easily happen but for PH now it is too impossible.

The idea of a cashless society is great and will surely provide convenience to many, but I truly agree with what you said. There are a lot of factors that would have to be considered before implementing this change. Even a rich country for sure would have a hard time transitioning with this kind of society.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You've been scammed. What you can do ? on: April 17, 2018, 03:21:04 PM
So everything is in the title.
What can you do when you have been scammed ? what are your possibilities to recover your funds, I mean here in the community, excepting going and report to the police.

Once you entered and starts investing and trading bitcoin, you don't just expect to win, you also have to prepare yourself to lose. For me, it's like a gamble, you have to be smart and wise. Once you got scammed, it's more likely that you won't get your money back; what you can just do is to treat it as a lesson and moved on. In some cases, if you know or you can identify who scammed you, then this will give you a bit of chance to recover your investment. Scammers nowadays are very sophisticated, they are very professional on what they are doing, anyone can hardly distinguish if an investment is fake or not. It's always important to be very cautious and think many times before deciding on whatever you want to do.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable? on: April 17, 2018, 02:18:36 PM
I am pretty much interested to know how many people here uses bitcoin because of it's system, because of the anonymous and the security it provides, and because of the fact that it is really easy to transact over the internet, and there's no one who can just block your account(unlike paypal, a platform that provides an easy way to pay over the internet, but you rely on PayPal to keep your account open).

So, are you guys using bitcoin because of it's nature, or because it's a financial tool of making money?

I am pretty sure most of the people over here are in just for the quick profits they can make, not for the features provided by bitcoin. That is why you will keep on seeing people nagging about the price when it starts to drop. Little do they know that, if they start using it for buy regular stuffs, the price itself will start to go up since more people will start adopting bitcoin.

Indeed, what you said is true! In this world where money is very much needed (to buy the things we need, to survive for our living or for whatever reasons we have), the very first reason why most of the people here are into Bitcoin is the good profit we can generate from it. Just an example are those unemployed and those who actually have a job but chose to have Bitcoin as their side income because they are seeing Bitcoin as a very profitable investment.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: April 17, 2018, 07:51:50 AM
I heard that bitcoin is a good investment for making a huge profit in the future , is that right ? Because i want to buy some bitcoin in these days .
Nowadays i can't find a best investment than bitcoin. Bitcoin is considered as commodity money, so when you hold bitcoins, you can invest them in the same way you might invest in a business with fiat money. Like fiat currency, you’ll generate interest on this investment as well, so holding some Bitcoins can allow you to invest them and earn interest on the same. Moreover, you can receive good returns at increased prices on your investment too as time elapses.

Yes, it is true that bitcoin is a good investment but i suggest to anyone who would want to invest not to rush. Studying first how it works, the ideas, researching some techniques on investing would be a good start. It is somehow a gamble, you need to be smart, patient, and wise. You also have to prepare yourself for loss as things like this might really happen. Nevertheless, it will surely give you the opportunity to earn huge profit in the future so as long as you manage it right.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Easy way to explain and teach Bitcoin on: April 17, 2018, 07:03:50 AM
The easiest way to explain and teach about bitcoin is to give a simple but efficient introduction on its history. It's very important to establish the interest first and let the person know that Bitcoin is something of value and can be converted into money.

Well I think it depends on whose you're gonna teach. With the young adults nowadays, the fact that they are very techie and is very much exposed on the internet and social media, they are more likely to learn fast. You just give them a brief overview of the basics, the things that will caught their interest and surely this will boost their eagerness to explore more about Bitcoin.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Fraudsters Alert... Be Aware! on: April 16, 2018, 12:46:20 PM
As Bitcoin's getting hotter, fraudsters are locking onto it like a heat-seeking missile.
Just in, fraudsters are using international celebrity images to tricked unsuspecting individuals to invest and have their money stolen.

You may check this out for your safety and security: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/bitcoin-scam-fraudsters-deborah-meaden-martin-lewis-action-fraud-warning-a8303551.html

Hope this helps. Be cautious everyone!
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: April 16, 2018, 04:48:11 AM
Would banks and governments actively work and implement countermeasures to undermine this process? Are the underestimating the potential of cryptocurrencies by investing in some of them?
Do you think there is a possibility of cryptocurrencies being banned in the future for the reason of being a threat to "normal" currencies?

It is for sure that government wouldn't allow cryptocurrencies to takeover fiat currencies. They wouldn't let something they can't control rule. If cryptocurrencies outpace cash in terms of usage, traditional currencies will lose value without any means of recourse. Should cryptocurrencies take over entirely, new infrastructure would have to be developed in order to allow the world to adapt. There would inevitably be difficulties with the transition, as cash could become incompatible quite quickly, leaving some people with lost assets. Established financial institutions would likely have to scramble to change their ways.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can government destroy Bitcoin? on: April 13, 2018, 01:06:19 PM
As recently government are banning bitcoin in some countries. Do you think can government distroy bitcoin?

I think even if they do, they wouldn't succeed. Just look at the other countries who already banned Bitcoin, still there are a lot of people who are using it. The main idea behind bitcoin is to create a currency free from government and banks, and this is something that we want. For as long as we have internet, we can use bitcoin anytime, anywhere! Nah, how can they destroy something that's giving people the opportunity to earn the legal way and making our life more convenient?
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a currency? on: April 13, 2018, 12:21:22 PM
I found a video on YouTube https://youtu.be/qTxPfxmkLIY that according to this man (Warren Buffett) said "Bitcoin doesn't meet the definition of a currency" and he said that "he would not be surprised if bitcoin is not around in 10 or 20 years".

Is he a hater of bitcoin? while other big names appreciate the bitcoin.

Your thoughts?

I believe everyone is entitled to have their own perceptions about anything. It seems Warren Buffett doesn't like Bitcoin, it is his opinion after all. Maybe we just have to free ourselves from giving importance to such negativities that others tell about bitcoin and focus on what we really want. We can't just tell what might really happen to Bitcoin in the coming years based to what is happening right now.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to improve Bitcoin Community on: April 10, 2018, 02:35:16 AM
I believe that spreading honest information(it may be good or bad) is really a huge thing to improve bitcoin community. It really is a big help especially for us newbies who are still learning the bitcoin world. 15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most attractive concept about Bitcoin? on: April 09, 2018, 01:10:36 AM
I believe the main factor of Bitcoin that will surely attracts a person is the money you can earn from it. You can invest and generate large profit. Yes, this one is quite risky, but if you would be patient and wise, your investment could double or  even more. Also, Bitcoin provides convenience on our everyday tasks. With Bitcoin, you can transfer funds anywhere with just low fees, buy from online stores, pay bills, and a lot more.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: April 05, 2018, 01:23:07 PM
The security and safety of our account mainly depends on how we manage it. We have to be very careful on choosing our password, think of something that's hard to access, also beware of spreading your email address onto different online registration forms as some of those are used to get informations to hack accounts.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to promote Bitcoin on: March 29, 2018, 02:12:23 AM
A one on one conversation is I think the best way to promote bitcoin, but to be able to do this, you first have to be very knowledgeable about this so you can explain the things about it with clarity to the ones you're promoting it. You can start with your family and friends; share to them the benefits and also the risks of bitcoin. Once they started to learn, sooner they'll get more excited to explore more about it.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung is going to support bitcoin on: March 28, 2018, 01:26:31 PM
This is a great news! Bitcoin market must be really growing to attract large companies like Samsung to have an idea of developing a mining hardware. It is a win-win situation for the both as this would do a big help for  bitcoin miners and traders, and will provide good sales for Samsung.
19  Other / Meta / Re: How to increase Merit? on: March 27, 2018, 11:05:26 PM
Creating quality threads and posts increases our chance of earning merits. With these valuable posts, it also helps beginners like me who are still learning the bitcoin world. But nowadays, it gets somehow frustrating to earn merits because quality posts gets overlooked because of those spam posts.
Nevertheless, trading merits is prohibited, you might get punished for doing so, so beware.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy when market is Red on: March 27, 2018, 10:29:37 PM
Buy when market is Red, a trick to successful trading. Also dont put buy orders ahead of time.

I agree with you on this, but somehow this one is very tricky. It is not as simple as this may sound. In buying coins, I think we have to be wise enough on choosing those who have potential on increasing its value because if we chose the wrong one, it may lead us to our loss. We don't want to buy and buy and just end up having nothing in return. Controlling our emotions would help a lot.
