I think it is not possible for government to destroy bitcoin. Many tried but none of them succeed. Even professional and great hackers tried to hack the blockchain but still, it seems impossible for them to have access and to take over it. Maybe someday, they can, but as of now, it would be hard for them, they still need to learn more about it.

No, because bitcoin is now popular all over the world, how can they destroy it if bitcoin can help the citizen of their country, can help the member of their community to earn more money. Bitcoin cannot destroy bitcoin even if they make or use a law to delete bitcoin in a country, users of the bitcoin will fight back to not remove the bitcoin in the country.

Prohibit nothing. The forbidden fruit is always sweet is not it?
It is much easier to conduct an organized attack on bitcoin in order to ruin its cost and thereby kill in people the belief in bitcoin, the belief that you can earn money and use it as a means of payment.

they can ban it in their country but they cannot destroy it only the creator can do that way. bitcoin is a digital currency and it is supported by blockchain its hard to hack or going to the back end. no one will do something danger to bitcoin because it is useful to us.

No because the government dont have a authority in bitcoin, but if theres someone expert in hacking maybe theres possibility that bitcoin can steal by hacking only even thought alof of peoples says the bitcoin is the strongest security ever... so the happening the security and hacker are already fighting for bitcoins and make sure that satoshi nakamoto can make another security to avoid hacking...

I think even if they do, they wouldn't succeed. Just look at the other countries who already banned Bitcoin, still there are a lot of people who are using it. The main idea behind bitcoin is to create a currency free from government and banks, and this is something that we want. For as long as we have internet, we can use bitcoin anytime, anywhere! Nah, how can they destroy something that's giving people the opportunity to earn the legal way and making our life more convenient?

They can try, but they wont succeed. The whole concept of decentralization is what will protect Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from governments. They are trying to delay the inevitable!!! Change is coming, they will lose their grip on the world and we will all have equal chances to succeed...
They want to let them do it will not affect the price and the importance of bitcoin in market and for us to me the best thing is the bitcoin same as me million of people in my country think that bitcoin is the best currency it will never go wanted, today the price of bitcoin is increasing because bitcoin has profit and people are accepting is, bitcoin will never get destroyed because bitcoin is the best thing that no other thing can ever be like bitcoin ever, it is impossible to destroy bitcoin.

Governments can ban cryptocurrencies, because they're being pushed by financial institutions who are afraid bitcoin might take over. But the authorities realize the value of crypto and blockchain, so they may be not that keen on eliminating this new technology. They will regulate and tax cryptocurrencies, but they will not deliberately destroy bitcoin.

Not a chance, it is something the people want and the governments cannot stop it. They can only make things difficult for it's population but it will be a backwards step for their country.

this question is not even relevant anymore as no government or their organization is interested in destroying bitcoins , over the past couple of months what we have see is where governments and even well established reputable companies have taken a positive stance on bitcoins , its clear now to everyone that crypto currencies will in the future become the means of exchange.

No, the governments will not be able to destroy bitcoin, but it can do anything to make it as unattractive as possible for ordinary people.

Government cannot destroy bitcoin, not anyhow, because they don't have what it takes to do it, it's a decentralized system, where the power lies in the persons that are using it..

In fact they do not know the importance of bitcoin therefore they are trying to ban bitcoin, but i do not think that still they can stop their people not to use bitcoin, in future i think that they will review their decision and will hopefully start accepting bitcoin as legal country and will surely allow their people to use bitcoin for business and for shopping etc, because bitcoin is going to be the future currency.

I guess you were right since a decentralized crypto currency could be too hard for the government from stopping it. You are right, they can try but they won't succeed. It will require a global or maybe universal approval to stop Bitcoin but since they can't do that, their only way of stopping it is banning it to their country. But people can still use it since it on the internet, i wonder if the government would do such thing after all when we are already in the new modern technology world.

I think they can't. If you see the only thing that the governments can do is to ban bitcoin in their country but they cannot totaly destroy bitcoin. They can't control it most importantly they can't regulate it. This are the factors that thoroughly destroy their thoughts on making a move on bitcoin.

Yes. I believe that As long as the government you’re talking about can handle bitcoin server or they have the access on the server of bitcoin, They can ban it. But, I think its impossible. Satoshi Nakamoto is not in the government to be against in this wonderful creature and masterpiece. And Hw/She will not allow to destroy it. Bitcoin exist forever.

It's too late for that now. I am fairly sure that if they did everything they could to discredit and tarnish Bitcoin back in the very early years, they could and probably would book success. However, with countries legalizing Bitcoin, large professional parties getting involved in this ecosystem in more ways than one, merchant adoption increasing, less negativity in the media, crypto in general has gained a whole lot more credibility. One must be living under a rock to not know Bitcoin. The only thing these people need is a trigger to enter the market, and we have been very successful in that, especially so when it comes to the adoption boost of last year. Nothing can even remotely describe what happened last year. Exchanges receiving numerous +100,000 signups within 24 hours is just insane....
