1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your experience in trading? on: July 31, 2018, 09:08:39 PM
Personally I've learnt a lot trading crypto currencies, first of which is patience, never be in a hurry or invest in any coin without thoroughly investigating the project. I've also learnt to be smart in making decisions by planning before taking actions. Lastly, I've learnt that if you don't sow, you don't reap.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel like quitting? on: July 31, 2018, 08:00:27 AM
Right now, I can say that I am just being optimistic about the future of altcoins because I think our "governments" are not in support of crypto currency and that's why the market hasn't grown bigger that this. The monetary and bank systems also feels threatened and are also working on the background against crypto currencies. I just hope we see a light at the end of the tunnel. This moments are trying moments.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / This is not a ponzi scheme on: July 31, 2018, 07:19:22 AM
Many people came here (I mean the cryptosystem) with the notion of investing money in an altcoin today and then get multiple of what they invested in a matter of days or even weeks. NO it doesn't work that way, you have to invest your time and money, research well to check for smart SMART (Specific Measurable Achievable Relevant and Time bound) projects. I'm not an expert, just expressing my view.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What does the future hold? on: July 31, 2018, 06:26:16 AM
The crypto currency market is getting bigger, stronger and better with the emergence of new and prospective alt coin but sadly I can say its not going at the pace I predicted because some people are pulling out by selling of coins I guess that's why the prices of coins is not experiencing and increase like what we experienced last year. I need to ask from the experts, what does the future hold? What should/can we do?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good amount to invest? on: July 27, 2018, 06:59:00 PM
I would not come here and tell you to invest a particular amount, this is because our pocket/economy varies. In some countries where the minimum monthly wage is about $50, you can not compare what someone from such a place will invest with someone in the United State. As I've always said, I'll ask you to invest what you can afford.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto offer riches overnight? on: July 26, 2018, 02:39:06 PM
Patience! Patience!! Patience!!!
If you look this virtue, don't invest in crypto currency because the market is so unpredictable it might rise today and fall tomorrow. Many people thought the market was going the keep rising like it was last year so they think its just on overnight thing but it's not. The big gainer in crypto are the patient ones who invested for the long term.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: July 25, 2018, 08:26:10 PM
For me personally, I can't invest my money in what I do not believe in. I have evaluated the digital currency for some time now and I so much believe in this project. If you're in this market to get rich quick, then I'm sorry for you because only the patient folks reaps the reward here. I believe the future is here and crypto currency is very much in the future which have started already.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: life of a trader on: July 23, 2018, 10:35:11 PM
I love this topic, I find it difficult to balance my normal life and my new crypto life, at times I get very busy and I don't have time to check the trends of the market and stuffs, and I miss out on great opportunities. On the other hand, when I spend a lot of time on crypto currencies I miss out on great deals in my business. I really need a balance.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do? on: July 23, 2018, 10:18:24 PM
I totally agree with this, since I'm not a full time altcoin investor, I'll say keeping for a long time will save me a lot of stress. This is because if I have invested it a good project, the prices may fluctuate in its early days, but on the long run, it will surely appreciate.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam coins everywhere. on: July 23, 2018, 04:47:52 PM
Its everywhere, but we also have good coins everywhere too. The problem now is identifying the true from the scam coins. How can this be achieved? I'd have love to say its easy but trust me, its not. You'll need to take your time and research well, check for realistic project, don't panic, and don't rush into trading any coin.
I think I've tried this and it has worked for me.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin making the world go crazy? on: July 23, 2018, 08:48:56 AM
A question with many answers I say. I'll give a few answers to this.

1. With bitcoin I have privacy so and absolute power over my money

2. Most people are so tired of the traditional banking system(I see them as opposite of Robin Hood ie taking from the poor and middle class to feed the rich)

3. Bitcoin isn't stable so we have to be on the watch.k

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest into Bitcoin or bank on: July 22, 2018, 06:43:29 PM
I'll advice you to split the money into two and the safe half which is a thousand dollar in the bank and the invest the other half in bitcoin. I will strongly advise you to do you research well show your uncle the progress in bitcoin from 2012 till date and then I'm sure he'll be convinced.
I will strongly advice you not to invest all your money in bitcoin.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO project should I choose? on: July 21, 2018, 08:31:27 PM
Beware! Beware!! Beware!!!
This is a timely warning, alot of ICOs out there are scam, asides that we have unrealistic projects and white elephants here and there. You have to be very careful before you select an ICO to invest in. It takes a lot of research, patience and perseverance. I'm sure if you can invest your time in research about the project, you won't fall victim.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is better? on: July 21, 2018, 08:14:20 PM
This is a tricky one. I will say based on recent experience, you should stick with Bitcoin and ETH as there areally more reliable than most of the altcoins we have today. But if I have to choose one, I'll go for Bitcoin as its still the king of all cryptocurrencies at the moment. I say at the moment because I still believe a coin (existing or new) can replace that tomorrow.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How risky to invest in cryptocurrency? on: July 18, 2018, 01:52:03 PM
It is risky, all the investments I know are risky. This life is a risk, and it will always be. If you're looking for a safe investment, then don't invest cause there is none. However with the right knowledge and information there are safe ways to invest in crypto. When you know the market very well then it's easier to invest in the right coins. Another key to success in crypto currency trading is that you should not be greedy.

Thank you
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: July 16, 2018, 04:52:53 PM
There's no exact amount, but I'll advise you to invest with an amount you can afford. But the fact still remains that the more you invest, the more you reap at the same time please don't be greedy. The market is here to stay don't rush, research well before you invest as there are a lot of shitcoins out there and there are also amazing projects out there.

Crypto is taking over
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Crying about Crypto! on: July 16, 2018, 04:35:26 PM
I find this post a little funny, but I must confess this guy just stated facts, like real facts, if you can't take risk, don't invest in any business. Every business has its own risk. Stocks, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Agriculture just name it, every business has its dark side, it can't be all good all the time. If you can't take risk don't invest in crypto currency.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: July 15, 2018, 09:05:00 AM
You're late but not too late, we might be saving the best for the last you know? There's a saying that the best time to invest was 2,3,5 or even 10 years ago but the next best is now, I mean immediately. The crypto market is still growing, there are thousands of coins now, you can invest in any of the promising coins, but I'll advice you to do you research very well before you invest in any coin. Please look before you leap.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DYOR (Do your own research) on: July 14, 2018, 08:38:52 PM
Thank your for creating this topic, some people are just lazy to invest just a little time on researching on an ICO before investing time and money, No one is an island of knowledge of course, but before you take whatever anyone brings on the table, do your own research.  Trust me it's worth it. It will safe you time and stress on the long run.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key to success in cyrpto on: July 14, 2018, 05:55:25 PM
Exactly!!! Patience is the key, but I bet you, no matter how long you spend trading with shitcoins, you can't get rewards there. Like I always say, take your time to research well, cause we have thousands of coins now. So you have to be very selective with the coins you invest in. Patience is definitely the key when you have invested in the right coin.
