The crypto currency market is getting bigger, stronger and better with the emergence of new and prospective alt coin but sadly I can say its not going at the pace I predicted because some people are pulling out by selling of coins I guess that's why the prices of coins is not experiencing and increase like what we experienced last year. I need to ask from the experts, what does the future hold? What should/can we do?

simply holding it without doing a research to see a future is not recommended.
we need to know what is going on right now and what will happen,just like now for example.peoples are expecting ETF to get approved,that was why the price went up from before.
so if you bought that day,and simply holding it because you believe it could go higher from that point,that's totally wrong mate.
because in cryptocurrency,the biggest factor that can determine its price is manipulation.
in other word,if you do some research and understand the fact that people were hyping it before because they wanted to make a quick money.
you can minimize your losses or even make a profit from it.
for now i do not see any significant movement.
i believe this year will be the year for Bitcoin to stabilize its position,because last year it got pumped and got hyped so hard.

Not only are people pulling out their investments, of recent the space has not been able to attract many new moneys or investment funds and as such the market keeps going down. But look at the latest thread and there was a person that spreads FUD against bitcoin. Those weak hands have not a lot of experience with the cryptocurrency and you can see that how the panic sells has been driving by those are getting panic when the price gets a little drop or even more.
