Some less developed countries leap-frogged over traditional telephone lines and went right to cellular networks. Maybe we could see a similar movement with some national currencies; perhaps some hyper-inflated currencies can turn to deflationary, crypto-graphically backed currency.

That's exactly what the deep state would want us to do. I believe any market is only as strong as the faith and general sentiment of its participants, and the activities in which they contribute to. If we want crypto to remain unadulterated and fair (as much as it can be) then we must actively participate in and better the digital spaces and crypto-communities in which we are a part of.

Does this have anything to do with the 30bn sell off of EOS and Bitcoin Cash? Also, why would people buy bitcoin cash fork if there are no free tokens? Distribution seems iffy on this one

Hello guys, I have a friend who told me about BITCOIN MINING. What do you think? Is it worth it ? Buying Hardwares / Mining Rigs and plus the TIME to be consume. I'm not even familiar with it , so I'm probably asking for advice on for those old miners. Electricity here in PH is so expensive. Do you have some tips and tricks? Thanks in advance guys ! A lot of investment and time is required for this to be worth it; but if those resources are available to you it definitely is worth it. Unless you buy terrible hardware, and live in a place where electricity is expensive.

Zoom out on the graph and don't buy so high.

If it can stay over 10k I think it should hit 20k by 2019. The btc futures market price was around 20k and I feel like it has to eventually get back to it (considering how much institutional money is invested at this point)

I love America with all my heart, and I really do believe it to be the greatest country on Earth. That being said; I don't blame other countries for hating us. We worship money and waste tons while people starve and/or watch people get bombed by our massive military budget.

I think as technology grows there will be a shift in the way we use and perceive money/currency in general. "They" (all of mankind) used to exchange goods with things like salt and precious metals. Now for the most part they use fiat, which requires physical transmission, storage, printing, and centralized entities such as the federal reserve to remain in circulation. Eventually, it makes sense that cryptocurrency is the most logical step in this natural progression. It's still very early, BTC is not even 9% as old as the Federal Reserve, and the dollar is still very strong. In addition to this, POS systems and payroll/tax situations are years behind. Bitcoin will most likely end up being a primary currency, but until then it should remain a strong alternative investment, due to the simple fact that there are trillions of dollars worth of wealth in the fiat system that will eventually move elsewhere.

Absolutely. Every big country is doing some sort of internal widespread espionage in addition to whatever isolated external operations they are doing. Scary stuff, although it may be totally justified (on the most part, in the US at least imo).

Just curious, since the Internet is mostly an Earthly thing... would astronauts be able to access and transfer their Bitcoins whilst traveling throughout the solar system?
As long as they have access to the internet they can use it

I always wanted to open my own crypto bank , finaly i m ready to do it , if you have 382 bitcoin and your only dream its to open your own bank what will be your ideas? Is it possible to build a decentralized bank?
Banks should be insured; I don't know if that's possible for a crypto-bank without a lot of work/lengthy legal process.

I am hearing a lot of users' complaint about having a problem transferring their BTC, Nowadays I am not selling it because I am "Hodling" it for future. But I am a bit of scared now because all this news about the people's BTC being hacked.
What should I do If My wallet or BTC gets hacked?
Social engineering will make up 99% of attacks. Get a paper wallet, take a picture of it, encrypt that picture, and put the paper wallet in a safe deposit box.

If people stop buying it or losing interest or the entire electrical grid gets killed it may happen. That's definitely super likely though, right? /s

In my opinion the cryptos with the highest potential are "mother-coins", alternate blockchains (Directed Acyclic Graph); and platforms for smart contract development. I see BTC, ETH, XRP, NEO, and IOTA being in the future top 5 consistently. The only thing that makes me skeptical of IOTA's potential to rise far more than it already has is it's supply. There's basically 200x more of them than BTC and it's market cap is already 1/25th of BTC.

Not only is this total sensationalism; those countries are irrelevant anyway! They probably don't even have the infrastructure to actually enforce it.

It's a gradient for many of us. When the market is going absolutely crazy my eyes will be glued to indexes and exchanges. When everything is staying relatively normal I am definitely just a part time trader after work.

There will always be unemployment; especially when you consider frictional unemployment and natural unemployment.

hello guys , i just want to share what am i doing right now to my children, i have a 10 year old kid , he is david . this coming summer i want to teach him about cryptocurrency. especially bitcoin, from his young age i want to share him my knowledge about this kind of things. im happy that he is excited a little bit however it's so hard to explain but then i use some examples like video games as a reference about bitcoin. probably it might be the easiet way to understand how this things works. for example bitcoin is like a video games, you need to do a lot of research about bitcoin to know it and ask some people what they know about bitcoin or like experiences , like games you need to do a lot of practice to mastered the games , can someone help me about this ?
I think the idea of teaching your children about bitcoin in that young age is inappropriate let them experience the fun and enjoyment they are too young too manipulate or hold that kind of account. They should be playing with their friends and savoring the life of childhood . I think the idea of yours is right you just want to teach your children so that they will be ready on their future but this is not the right time. I agree completely. Take your children to the park, read with them. Don't talk to them about your volatile investments and crazy coin conspiracies.
