1  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CoinJar - Australia's first VC-backed Bitcoin startup on: April 03, 2018, 09:26:48 PM
I recently joined Coinjar and their support team are great though they recently made a change to their verification system, I used Austpost ID when I joined.  Now they want a JoP to verify my I’d documents and send them into them.

The problem is they want to hold your money for a minimum of 7days to deter fraudsters from using their exchange. However they never sent out any notification this would be happening and I have been locked out of the market for a week nearly and been unable to buy alt coin.

I also notice their BTC price is delayed or different from current market by a few hundred dollars.

Hello,

I am a new investor in Bitcoin and I can tell that trading Bitcoin is so much easier that trading Forex. I double my wallet in 3 months with swing trading! I bought Bitcoins between 6000 / 7400 and sold them at 11.500. Last days I bought Bitcoins between 7300 and 8100 and I still have them.
The important thing is to believe that bitcoin will continue to go up, like me, so you can find the good entry points.

I post Bitcoin analyzes on my twitter channel so take a look, I already have some good results from my start. I post also my results of my profitable EA forex robot.

Thanks Chris, nice chart

We have a bottom to carve out here and I'm sure the time frame is a long one before Wave 2 to complete retracement. Currently downtrend is intact, break above top line and we are go for up, break below that bottom line and we're driving along the bottom over a potted bumpy road for awhile. Good hunting!  Grin

They displayed it as 0.1 which I took as 10% instead but it was an actual 0.1

New to this and learning new things everyday.

Coinjar have changed their policy on deposits, with a BPay which takes 2-3 days I now have to wait 7days to buy BTC elsewhere. That's 10days before I can buy other crypto coins.

Due to fraud and dodgy people they have changed this policy to 7 days until I give them documents verified by a Justice of the Peace.

This level of protection is a good thing but it slows things down dramatically.

Oh I so disagree it's been following technicals with nice steps with support and resistance. News does affect it and you can see those spikes, buying and selling opps

Industry type crypto's have limited upside but BTC is very open and so is another alt coin deeponion however it's using a protected network so performance could be an issue if blockchain grows

Bitcoin is good to own but it will take a while for it pass last high.

I have found another alt coin which offers infinite possibilities Deeponion.org

Still in development but one to watch.
I think you should not invest in bitcoin at this time, it is possible that bitcoin prices in the past few days are decreasing and there are no signs of recovery. So if you buy bitcoin at this time the risk will be very high, the possibility of losses will be huge. According to my analysis, the price of bitcoin will reach $ 6000 and the current price is at $ 7700. Therefore bitcoin prices will continue to fall sharply.

Could spike backup to $9-10k, will touch low though not sure when.

You can never pick the top or bottom of a chart and if you do its probably luck so buying a little bit at a time is probably best way or buy lows only.

Also it could be three months or 3 years before we carve out a low here on BTC, it took another five years for BTC to come off its lows from 2012.

i think you should do something called 'research' before spouting this nonsense.
from where you could say something like this ?
Quote
Kucoin withdrawal fee is 10% and cryptopia 1%
please do some research before doing something like this,here you go ;

withdrawal fees on Kucoin : https://news.kucoin.com/en/fee/
and cryptopia fee : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2867582.0

every exchanges set 0.001BTC~0.0005BTC(the majority) as their fees.
in some case you will see an exchange that set a higher than that like coinsmarkets.com(scam) which was charging 0.002BTC as their fees.

I interpreted 0.1 as ten percent when I went to withdraw. So yes it probably was a mistake but I'm fractions person so 0.1 means 10% to me

12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Second Wave to Complete Retracement on: March 28, 2018, 12:26:38 AM
I'm using a chart to define Elliot Wave theory with 5 wave. I believe on the monthly we are currently in correction and retracement of a second wave. As we saw a 85% correction in 2012 we can use from high which would be a $3.5k correction from the current high. Not sure where this places onions but it would like be 85% of high which is approximately where we are atm.

13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Exchanges, costs and spreads on: March 27, 2018, 12:21:06 PM
Wow big difference in withdrawal costs and other fees including spreads at Exchanges.

Kucoin charged me 10% and Cryptopia 1% for a withdrawal!

I was shocked to realize I'd just been ripped off by kucoin severely.

Is there a site that someone has collected this info and kept up to date?
