it dosnt sound like a power supply issue. the new amd drivers in windows dont allow for bios mods and im thinking thats where your issues is.

So why it would it work forever and then just all of a sudden not?

Also, I can have one card running just fine.  That doesn't make sense to me?  But, that doesn't say much, I am a noob.

Can you try the following, use OverdriveNTool and under volt your cards just a little bit, let say 900mV and report back. If you can mine with this then you might have an PSU issue

Here are the settings the cards are currently at.  https://i.imgur.com/iJ1rIDH.png

All the cards are set here.  I am not sure where to change 900mV as you suggested.

Nah, I'll definitely discourage you to do OC settings when you do troubleshoots

and I doub't if its a driver issue when you could go 1 cards successfully, based on the picture.

Have you already Done this?

INCREASE VIRTUAL MEMORY
In search type “This PC“, right click on it and choose “Properties“
Then click on “Advanced System Settings“
On “Advanced” tab where it says “Performance” click on “Settings“
Click “Advanced” tab
At the bottom you will see “Virtual memory“, click on “Change“
1. Uncheck “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives“
2. Check “Custom size“
3. In the “Initial size (MB)” type: 3000 (or directly 16000)
4. In the “Maximum size (MB)” type: 16000 (or more like 20k)
5. Click “Set” , then “OK” and “Apply“
Restart the rig

So I attempted to put one of cards on the PCI-e 16x slot, and it worked fine.  Hashed without issue.  However, I do not believe it is the riser.  I have swapped out MULTIPLE risers and still had the same issue.  So you think it is the power supple then??

Well, If you are out of luck this is possible, we've seen users that has 16pcs of brand new risers all Faulty Wink

Yeah, I set the virtual memory. Still no luck.  I think I am going to RMA the power supply and if that solves the issue.

After reading this I believe your bios mods are the reason.  Please use overdriventool and post a picture of a card once you start the program.

Crap memory clocks do the same to my rigs.  Also if someone clocked defaults high, your afterburner clocks got reset and now default clocks are crap and not stable.

If You mod'd your bios flash it back to stock.  I suspect someone was playing with bios flashing and this happened.  There is part of the story missing here...

I am not sure how to flash the bios...

Is there a guide out there on how to use OverdriveNTool?  I have no idea on how to use it.

STOP WINDOWS UPDATE
In RUN type “services.msc“, the services page will be open
Search for “Windows Update“
Click “Stop” if status is “Live” or “Checking/Running“
Select “Disabled” on “Startup type“
Apply & Restart
Do it again and make sure that it is disabled
Also if you want you can disable more services..

Already done so  Sad

-snip-

Have you tried using one GPU directly plugged PCI-e x16 slot on the board, then fire up miner?

I suspect that is it my motherboard or power supply.

If the above setup runs successfully, you either have a bad riser or power supply issue

Then you can add one more card using a riser, just to make sure what the issue is. If with one card directly plugging to PCIe 16x plus one other card using a riser was fine, then add one more card.

So I tried adding more, and it immediately froze within 40 seconds, as soon as I got to the "GPU Buffer" line on claymore.

I do have afterburner, not using it at the moment.  Bat file is very simple, but it worked for a long time previously so I don't think that is the issue.

Here is the bat, obviously I took out the usernames and whatnot:

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool coinotron.com:3344 -ewal user.worker -esm 2 -epsw password -allpools 1

how are you overclocking the cards?
I had this problem when switching algos and editing inside the .bat file. If you are overclocking in the  .bat file then mess with the occlock and mclock

Not overclocking at all as of this moment.  Just trying to get things up and running right now.  Everything is at stock settings.

I might murder my rig...

my whole system freezes up and I have to hard reset. When isolating the GPUs this still occurs.  Does not matter if I have one running or all 6.

I have not tried that. I will do so shortly and report back.

I upgraded my rigs from Win7 to Win 10 not long ago and had an array of problems to resolve to get mining going.
I suspect your Win 10 is preventing Claymore miner from starting up.  Great help is not far away, however,
I for one snatched up a few tips from this site https://mining.help/
In particular, I ran the script descriped under section 4.2 WINDOWS 10 REGISTRY TWEAKS FOR MINING
This is a bat script that stops parts of Win 10 to interfere with your mining.   For example it turns off Windows Defender so it
doesn't stop miner programs

Hi,

Thanks for the response.  Windows defender is completely disabled through the registry.

dont connect your risers with sata or sata to molex/6pin adapters...it can work well for some time, but usually ends up like this
connect them directly from your psu with molex or 6pin and not more than 2 risers/line

Risers have always been connected correctly.

Are you getting error message in claymore "No GPU detected" ?

No claymore detects all cards without issue.

I might murder my rig...

I cannot figured out what is wrong with my rig. Everything was working great for two months and now nothing. Not one of my cards will hash, everytime claymore starts it goes to 0 mh/s then freezes. Meaning, my whole system freezes up and I have to hard reset. When isolating the GPUs this still occurs.  Does not matter if I have one running or all 6.  I am ready to shoot this thing.

I suspect that is it my motherboard or power supply. None of my cards will work on this rig, but they work without issue on other systems.

Claymore will run for no longer than 30 seconds until the entire system freezes.  When I restart my system after the hard reset I have a notification of, "Application has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware."
.

System Info:
-6x MSI RX 570 Armor 4Gb
-6x Victony PCIE x16 Risers.
-1x 128Gb SSD w/ windows 10
-1x 4Gb DDR4 RAM
-1x BioStar TB-250 BTC 6 PCIe
-1X EVGA SuperNOVA 1000W 80+Gold -
1X Intel BX80662G4400
-Running Windows 10
-Running Claymore miner 11.5, ETH only

What I have attempted:
-DDU
-Clean install of the driver
-Pixel Patcher
-Loaded each card up one by one
-Tested the risers
-Reinstalled Windows 10
-This: https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/application-blocked-accessing-graphics-hardware-error-windows-10-solved/
-FUCKING EVERYTHING

Any ideas?
