3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Huge potential earnings in bitcoin, still not interesting for others on: July 16, 2018, 04:02:33 AM
i Think because many people believe that bitcoin is a scam and they don't have knowledge on it, They usually want is to earn in instant rather than waiting or using trading and some other do investment but they were scam. Media also discourage other people not to go further on investment that bitcoin is include.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: July 16, 2018, 02:22:05 AM
Well it is good is the banks offer that kind of investment in us, Less risk and less hassle at all and you can secure your bitcoin on it. Its up to them how they make it double or how they manage your bitcoin in safety process.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN won't die, period. on: July 06, 2018, 03:21:38 AM
+1 on this because i think it will getting high again this coming December, Who knows if it is double or triple as the current value today and im still waiting for that moment that bitcoin will raise again!
6  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PNB looks into use of bitcoin! on: June 26, 2018, 03:26:21 PM
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: June 23, 2018, 02:58:40 AM
i Think There is a Chance but the Government was very careful about this situation, More and more large bankers are starting to realize that Bitcoin is unstoppable and they would fare much better to hop on the train instead of getting ran over by it!
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Face up to reality: The game is over on: June 21, 2018, 12:32:23 PM
It is Normal to Hold and Stack Bitcoin while others selling their own while you guys panic at the market it is because they waiting for a chances to sell it, Thats how market works and i do not agree of what you said earlier  Wink
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin? on: June 20, 2018, 03:00:54 PM
Some are Not knowledgeable in the World of CryptoCurrency while other Use this as a Scam, To invite more people to invest in bitcoin but the truth it is not, So that is why many potential investor back-out on some investment project because media spread it as a ponzi scheme.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin price can be manipulate by the others? on: June 16, 2018, 03:24:14 PM
Price manipulation is an almost natural process in global markets but is very common in the US markets. Price manipulation happens constantly, just before corn was being used to make ethanol at a high scale the price was forced down vis a vis us government forcing corn growers to destroy crop or sell at a lower point to certain companies (for a tax break). Then after 1 big company was ready to sell their ethanol, corn price skyrocketed (from less corn being available from the crop destruction plus company buy offs to create the ethanol they are ready to sell). We see something similar when Asia countries buy scrap metal, when they start buying we raise the price, once they are done we drop the price of scrap metal. I honestly think there's many companies trying to lower the BTC price and it's just causing the price to down it faster.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does bitcoin need to improve? on: June 15, 2018, 05:52:44 AM
I can clearly see that there are other cryptocurrencies that are beginning to dethrone bitcoin, showing off there quick and secured transactions, though bitcoin continues to be the king. What does bitcoin need to improve state your opinions.
There's actually such a thing as physical bitcoins. The way they work is each bitcoin has a tamper-proof seal and contains a code that can be entered on the minter's website. When the code is entered, the value of the physical bitcoin is paid to the enterer of the code. Of course, accessing the code destroys the value of the physical bitcoin. However, the fact that it CAN be redeemed for actual bitcoin gives the coin value, just as silver certificates used to function.
12  Local / Pilipinas / Re: The Last Bitcoin on: June 14, 2018, 07:52:52 AM

13  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PNB looks into use of bitcoin! on: June 13, 2018, 10:18:48 AM
14  Local / Pilipinas / Re: The Last Bitcoin on: June 12, 2018, 01:28:40 PM
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: let's take a closer look at $100,000,000,000 market cap on: June 08, 2018, 02:34:27 PM
TL. DR. any coins that don't have any usage (99.9% of the altcoins) shouldn't be counted in total market cap otherwise the total will be a meaningless number. instead consider utilities, how many merchants are using them, etc

by now you must have read something about it either on here or reddit or some place else.
yes it is exciting to see the market has grown this much and that number being that big! but what does market cap mean?

it is simply the result of price * supply.

here is an example of why it is such a terrible factor. the following coins (which i chose randomly based on price rise in past 24 hours) has 24.4 billion supply.
now as you can see it is a good example of a dead coin with 3 satoshi value which has been pumped. from 3 satoshi to 82 satoshi and this coin alone has contributed to 50 million dollars increase in market cap

are you still saying market cap is a good factor?

take a look at more coins if you don't agree with the above screen shot and want to argue that coin is good , blah blah...

the following coins are all dead coins. mostly in the range of 1 satoshi and even less. some of them don't even have a bitcoin market anymore. they are being traded with smaller coins such as Doge at funny prices such as 0.01 Doge per coin!
all the coins that i have circled have gone up from <1 satoshi up to prices you see. each in >500% (the circled percentage are only 24 hour rises).

look at the comical market caps:

hint
to see these coins you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the coinmarketcap.com page and then click next 100 a couple of times to reach these coins
Thank you for this and it is clear to me now. I do have a question though. What with there being so many newcomers to cryptocurrency wouldn't the psychological effect of a coin having a higher price per piece have a significant effect, exactly because people look at the price and not the market value? I know that's why I invested a lot in XRP ripple and hope to someday have 1 BTC
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and altcoin: Who will take control of the market? on: June 07, 2018, 07:21:32 AM
I think Bitcoin takes the lead to Control the market because of its powerful ratio in the market not like Altcoin they are supporting coin to maintain the balance of its value unlike bitcoin it cannot control its place.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: June 04, 2018, 04:04:02 PM
I Think there are many case if banks did not accept bitcoin on their side its because they will lost control of their investors and they cant control the ICO market. Many investor in the bank will pullout of the bank and do investing on bitcoin because of their promising rate and earnings. Unlike in bank they will give you a 1% earning every in your invest.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what can you buy with bitcoin? on: June 03, 2018, 03:01:30 PM
Here in Philippines bitcoin is not acceptable in market you cant use bitcoin to buy some and our government dont allow people to invest in bitcoin because they say it is prone in scam but hopefully in the future they will adopt it.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction fees on BlockChain are so high on: May 30, 2018, 04:00:48 AM
there are several reasons why the transaction price in the blockchain is very high among them is busy or solid Bitcoin network at this time. Typically, costs will increase as long as the fluctuations of the value of Bitcoin and the world's major events are sudden, and
Your Bitcoin wallet has a micro deposit history (such as referral bonus). If your wallet has a large number of small deposits, your transaction size will become larger because it consists of many inputs. The larger the transaction size, the higher the cost of Blockchain.
Yes i Agree with this one and it depends on market value also and how you want to claim your bitcoin so fast. And there a times that transaction fees are very low and so fast much better you take monitor on it time to time.
