what a BS. the important data is ERASED on that picture. What do you want to do with THAT?

So after one month they run away with $100.000 you are not releasing the data of the ID? We should definitly think about giving your data to the police first.

WOW. Thats alot of BS Sambo. You really deserve a LITTLE PONY PRIZE.

so after one month the

Mate, you really should read what people post.  I released the image as it was sent to me, I DID NOT ERASE ANY DATA!

YOU RECEIVED  A PAPER WITH EVERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION MADE BLACK AND WROTE HERE THAT YOU HAVE AN IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT?

Sambo, please leave this thread you naiv brick of stupidity.

GO! PLAY WITH your LITTLE PONY and BARBIES.

more maron as mikemikemike user. its not about money its about being in a community of marons.

you are not suitable for ANY legitimations duties. why would a bank NOT accept a paper with all information blacked?

it hurts my brain!

Just curious about the level of checks you were able to make.
The domain owner's name is anonymized  in WHOIS search. So how did you know if the ID you saw belongs to the owner ?.

The investment return looks good. I just wish the owners will open up with all the secrecy , so one is sure who is managing the funds.

Well, I saw Tom's ID, who is one of the CoinReturn team, who the domain belongs to is somewhat irrelevant; Tom is who we are generally dealing with on a regular basis and he has proven his identity.

I really also cant understand why Sambonz would acknowledge seeing an ID that has been so edited and not acknowledge the fact that what he saw was edited/blanked out. His endorsement does  raise some concerns.

8  Economy / Securities / Re: CoinReturn - Discussion of Current Issues and Possible Future Actions on: July 15, 2014, 03:39:27 PM
Now that we know that the "Thomas Mica ID " is fake, the only chance we probably have to  id the promoters of  CoinReturn is  to have the domain owners privacy protection lifted. To do this, one would normally need something like a police report, which could be obtained with someone filing a fraud case with the police and obtaining a report of the filling to send to the registrar of the domain. or  more expensively getting a lawyer to get a court ruling that can be sent to the registrar to lift the privacy protection. The registrar for the domain coinreturn.me is PublicDomainregisty.com. Their contact would be abuse@publicdomainregistry.com.

I am still a bit dumbfounded to find that SamboNz would accept the ID posted and announce tha he has seen Tom Mica's ID, when most of the info that can confirm his ID is redacted and the only one visible, his home address, can be easily checked with a reverse address search on whitepages.com, which indicates the house is occupied by a different person (a couple  in this case). I believe a cautioned statement that some parts of the ID was redacted would have been appropriate, so others without access to the ID don't  think the promoters had nothing to hide and were willing to give identifiable info to a trusted member.

9  Economy / Securities / Re: Crypto stocks listing, CPW on: June 28, 2014, 08:14:31 PM
I wonder if RiverBoatBTC would be interested in taking this case on for possible recovery?
I believe RiverboatRTC requires first name, last name and state of residence to initiate any investigation. Meanwhile the whois info on cryptopower.org
is privacy protected. So one would need either a subpoena or police request to get the domain registrar to unveil the domain owners name and contact info. Any ideas from anyone?

Shell it out, fellas. $$$

The price volatility in BTC over the past few days has been awesome. If CoinReturn was able to navigate  all the ups and down effectively, i think we should be in for a bounty dividend. If not a major loss. With the slight delay in divs, lets hope it is taking a long time to count all the big profit  or deciding when to stop booking the profit.
14  Economy / Securities / Re: [RETURN] Announcing CoinReturn Financial IPO! on: June 11, 2014, 07:51:43 PM
For the last few weeks I have been doing some in-depth checks into CoinReturn and its founders.  Here is a brief summary of my findings and observations for the benefit of the community:

Negative Points

  • Introductory blurb states that the company is registered in Cyprus, however this is not the case.  I asked the the CoinReturn team about this and they said that while this was the original idea, they changed their minds on this after seeking legal opinion.
  • We have yet to see the delayed stream of trade history as mentioned in the company introduction

Positive Points

  • The Coinreturn team are fairly communicative and continue to be up-front and open about the operations of the company
  • The fund has been operating for over 3 months
  • There has never been a missed dividend without notice or good reason (eg; CS wallets being down)
  • CoinReturn is not promising loss-free operation
  • The company is open about losses when they occur, often providing details of exactly what happened
  • Returns appear to be realistic and consistent with market conditions at the time
  • The company is taking a realistic cut of the profits
  • I have seen some behind the scenes trading history, which all seems to be legitimate
  • There is currently a stop on further share issues until 2015.  This is a strong indicator that they are not a Ponzi operation
  • The team are actively concerned about loosing contact with shareholders (in the event of CS shutting down) and have a plan in place to mitigate this risk
  • I have sighted an official ID for Tom, including address of residence

I don't want to go into my general opinion of CoinReturn in this post as I'd rather keep it as neutral as possible and leave the conclusion up to the reader.  However...

Disclosure:  I am a shareholder in CoinReturn.

15  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [IPO] CoinPal - Crypto-Currency Exchange & Profit Switching Mining Pool {NEW} on: June 11, 2014, 03:23:37 PM
Before this forum is turned to a marketing post for other alt-exchanges, i think we should salvage CoinPal for the sake of current investors .

The current CoinPal situation really looks very bad. We may now have a dopehead with a rap-sheet Involving controlled substance trafficking ,trying to run a crypto-exchange. Wonder if he could ever get a money transmitter license with this rap sheet.

I think the situation calls for a staged response as follows;

1.   RyanG has never responded directly on this forum. It appears that apart from the initial IPO announcement (1st post) on this forum, he has not visibly appeared, although he could have been silently lurking. He may not have even been the first poster as he had other helpers initially like chris@coinpal.net alias  Americanbit and RyanM, who later declared his independence and that he himself was  defrauded. This means that all communication to RyanG need to be addressed to the official email on CS, contact@coinpal.net .

2.   I believe shareholders should email him to let him know that there are serious allegations of fraud  and criminal records being made on the forum,

 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=525700.new;topicseen#new

that he needs to address, coupled with his inability to keep to his deadline and timetable. As of his last post, the exchange should have launched , IPO flag should have been removed and more divs should have been paid. All email should give him till Friday 13th June to respond and take positive action.
The two steps above, is to eliminate any excuse about not being aware of whats going on, or the argument of him just having poor communication skills.
After the dealine, the following steps will now be taken;

3.   A list of contacts for  all newspapares, magazine, radio and tv stations  in the Orlando Florida. Orange county should be compiled. They can be posted on the forum

4.   After the deadline, all the media houses should be hit with a summary and detail of the transaction with a PDF of the forum content as well as all CoinPal  announcements  on Cryptostocks. That should make for good investigative content for the local reporters to rummage through.
The next step is to try and use State and Federal resources to deal with RyanG, after some media buzz, that may have alerted the state and federal officials. We need to be sure that RyanG is not responding or has disappeared before taking these steps, if not the whole thing looks like a bunch of impatient investors.

5.   Any resident of Florida State should file a complaint with the State Securities/Financial Services Board  alleging fraud and theft.

http://www.flofr.com/staticpages/fileacomplaint.htm

6.   Residents from other US states should file a complaint with the Securities and Exchange Commission at ;

http://www.sec.gov/complaint/tipscomplaint.shtml

https://denebleo.sec.gov/TCRExternal/disclaimer.xhtml

The SEC has taken previous actions against PONZI schemes involving bitcoins

7.   All international investors, outside the USA, should just file a complaint at the nearest local Interpol  office , for fraud and theft against RyanG , giving his full detail.

With these state resources  at work against RyanG, if he leaves the US, Interpol will harass him, and hopefully  State and Federal resources will harass him at home.  If he can remain sober, he will realize that the $80K he is not worth the hassle.

The actions need to be staged as I expect somewhere in between , RyanG will fall in line to avoid a personal and family catastrophe and possible jail term.

While for the most part I agree with you but one thing states that none of this shit will work.... history of bitcoin
1. Investors feel its not worth the time or money to pursue the person
2. The SEC has no power to press charges on people, this means no jail time.
3. Their are laws in my state not sure about FL, but you can be sued for damages for any negative ramification coming from that news paper ad ex. not being able to get employment, harrasment ect.
4. The chance that the local Law enforcement is going to pick this up to prosecute him is very very little.

If anyone is interested in going after this guy I can help, he will not go to jail but you have a chance of getting funds back.
Edit: about 4000 coins were raised through IPO?

Fell free to make your offer to assist to retrieve funds .

However, my comment  to yours are;

1. " Investors not ready to pursue" - Yes most people wont want to engage a lawyer because of a few coins invested. But filling a complaint online does not require the same effort. Its the cumulative online complaints that will get the attention for state resources to be used to investigate.

2. "The SEC has no power to press charges on people, this means no jail time"
       SEC has indeed prosecuted shady bitcoin investment . See below;

http://www.sec.gov/News/PressRelease/Detail/PressRelease/1370539730583#.U5hzlnY6Ejo

3,"you can be sued for damages for any negative ramification coming from that news paper ad ex."-
No one is publishing anything in the paper, one is merely showing sources of public info to
media houses, who may choose to investigate and publish after due diligence and possibly interviewing the principals involved.

4. "The chance that the local Law enforcement is going to pick this up to prosecute him is very very little"
       - Local law enforcement will respond to several complaints about the same issue. Single baseless complaints, may be not.

The objective  is not to prematurely start activating these options as it will appear to be actions of over anxious investors. Its possible that RyanG is stressed out and overwhelmed and is actually working hard to rectify the situation. The options that i have suggested is the last line to be drawn after ascertaining that RyanG has disappeared or is no longer performing after a well expressed deadline.

Dear nwfella,

That is a good question, yes, we have the obligation to release the information to investors.
So we have considered that the questions from you and other investors, and public announcement.
And when the software released, you can get the dividend.

Dear investors,

Yesterday is China's legal holiday Dragon Boat Festival, We are sorry we can't timely reply to your questions.

The latest announcement is as follows:
1. We have a good development progress, there is no new problems.
2. we're adding some very useful function, this will not affect our progress.
3. Because we still discuss software pricing plan, so we haven't officially launched the sales plan.
4. We will abide by our promise: The software will be released in the future 3 to 5 months (from May 5th, 2014).

If you have any question you can send email to btc@ejustech.com.

Best regards.

Quote
However, you have launched that strange voting for "publicly disclosed the latest trends of IPO'BTC".
So, where are they? According to the voting everyone wants to see them!

Have to say, the statistical work is more complex than we expected, but this week should be completed.

And for this question you mentioned,
Quote
Screenshot's of "upcoming product"?

About the software development process, because usually need to add or delete some functions,
there are a lot of changes in the GUI, we have to put the art design work in the final phase.

In the meanwhile, in order to prevent competitors copying,
we need to secrecy on the main function of the software, hence we have not been share the screenshot.

If you think that we release the screenshot can improve investor confidence,
We will consider to announce the screenshot (not the main function), but not regularly and will do some art design work.
Although this will increase our workload, we also like to see that the investors trust us in this way.

If you have additional questions, please contact us any time.

Best regards.

Just to summarize what you are saying;

1.   With regards to when you will resume arbitrage operation-
            -   You will restart 3 to 5months after May 5th 2014.
(i.e sometime between August 4th and October 5.

2.    With regards to request for accounts of the about 750BTC raised in the first
         IPO for arbitrage trading-

              -   The work involved was more than you expected and you are now expecting it to be available by the end
of this week June 7, 2014 (2.5 weeks after the vote by investors requesting the info).

I think it may suffice to just give a cold wallet address for where the BTC is parked , so investors are assured.

Also don’t you think it absurd to raise about 750BTC for arbitrage trading and on completion of raising such funds to now park it for 3 to 5 months of inactivity. Essentially doing nothing according to you. Would it not be better to have the arbitrage operation going on simultaneously with your software development.

Right now your current IPO  shares  sales is going very slow and would probably remain slow , because there is no incentive for the informed new investor. A new investor coming in will see a company  that is supposed to have 750BTC parked idle somewhere doing nothing , trying to raise another 1000BTC for software development.

Something does not add up.

Your initial unique value was your arbitrage application, which you used to raise 750BTC. This has now been effectively parked for 3 to 5 months, as per your plans. I wonder, if you are able to raise BTC in this current IPO, by the time you want to start the coffee shops, will you be parking both the arbitrage operation and software sales so you can raise money for the coffee shops?.

Things are not adding up quite well.
