Posting this to torture the CAPs community Got my block splitting tool running for CAP. Have a hard time staking without it Can this be integrated into CAP client? Or can you, kindly, provide us with your super-awesome tool? Without being able to split blocks like in HYP, it's quite hard to setup staking manually all the time. Thanks. I agree Block splitting can be a time sink. As a stopgap solution I usually select double the amount and use the source for a change address. Select 20000 then have 10k recombined in the new block and 10k recombined in the change block. I do this roughly every 4 stakes. So if I understand you correctly, in the Coin Control feature, you select 20K, then check the "custom change address", copy-paste your wallet address (the same one from which you are sending the coins) there and also to the "Pay to" field and type in the 20K into the "Amount" field, then click on "Send". Am I right? Why the "custom change address" divides the amount into half? Also, is 10K a good amount if I stake monthly? From my calculations, I would be better served by 5K blocks (so 10K in total) as it's roughly 16% a month and I can't exceed 1000 CAPs in one stake. Thanks

Go to settings, then options, then click on the display tab. You have to enable display coin control features in this area. After this in the send coin tab you will have a coin control area where you can view the weight of your blocks ect.
Thank you very much! Although I'm not new to Caps, I've been looking for this for ages. You saved my staking

Where is the coin control feature located in the wallet? Or is it called somewhat else than 'coin control'? Can't find it.

I would like to nominate Tranz of Hobonickels and Bottlecaps ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303749.0 and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=241445.0) for his long-term support and development of the aforementioned coins. He seems to be a very skilled coin developer, especially in the area of proof of stake coins. He doesn't change his mind even if the price of the coins goes way down or way up. In my opinion, he truly deserves a spot among the other voting round candidates!

I think that's an awesome idea. The only thing is I think you should re-evaluate your criteria/point system. The first 3 criteria, email address, BTT id and social media could potentially be used as padding because they're not enough to prove anything by themselves. So that if someone displays a score of 3, you still couldn't really trust him/her because the score could be based entirely on the first 3 criteria. I think your minimum trust score should mean that you're able to identify the person in case he/she defaults. Moving up the trust ladder would then serve to reflect the dev's competence and ability to see the project through.
I agree. Dev could receive like 0.25 points for twitter or facebook and 0.5 for email.

Very nice. Who else has the reputation to verify coin devs than Coins Source in this fast-paced crypto scene? You are finally stepping up to benefit the entire crypto-community Thanks

I am in no way part of the SourceCoin team who're building the community and coin, I also know this has nothing to do with stakes. However I would really like to see this coin on Cryptsy and this topic seems to be getting alot of attention so I figured I'd post here. Did you know that you can actually receive SRCC from voting for the coin on cryptsy? Well, you can and here is PROOF http://www.coinssource.com/bounties/. So on behalf of myself and all other Cryptsy users lets get this coin on the exchange! VOTE \/\/\/\/ https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/4000275192/\/\/\/\ VOTE Thanks Alex for the support!

Well, these scams can be produced by anyone...as you said by hash centres, or exchanges or whatever. You really can't know. But hopefully shit scam coins will decline by time. People will get fed up by constant losing of coins, etc.

Interesting, although I assumed you would have kept more coins aside for signature campaigns in the future. Eventually you will run out, assuming it goes on for a while. Unless you just plan to switchover to btc then.
Put my stake request in ... it's certainly an easier way to get coins than when I did some of those dead coin bounties back when your form was a bit wacky...
Yeah, I too contributed some dead coins and also wrote to forums and while I got coins, it was much lesser than this distribution. But hey, we can be glad they are giving some more coins for free.

wow, finally you've decided to distribute SourceCoins in a big way. I've been waiting for this day since April. Well I'm lucky I've invested some btcs back then because now investors get moar

Some impressive stuff so far, looking forward to seeing where coins source is in a few more months.
Exactly. When I first saw the site back in the middle of April, I was immediately convinced it will be a huge success in the future and so I have invested in Coins Source company's IPO ( http://www.coinssource.com/ipo/) and I'm sure now, I've made a great decision. Site is quite neat and organised and has a lot of tools and content. Articles are added each day and they are of top-notch quality. I've read some other blogs about alternate cryptocurrencies before, but to be honest, they were just blogs, nothing more, while Coins Source is a full-featured web portal which is on par with coindesk, for example. As far as investing is concerned, they've helped me three times already with my alternate crypto investments. I was choosing between several coins to invest in but their coin reviews made the deciding process a more pleasant one. I really advise you to at least open the page and read some articles. You can't lose anything.

This POS rate is insane.
From a prior post: Moving to 200% yearly degrading will give people a reason to mine and hold this coin again. It fill the niche perfectly. Very low 1-5% PPC,BC, AC, WC and a few others (CAPS Current) Low 25-50% Mint, PHS Mid 100% HBN, NVC ****** 200% CAPs ****** Very High 500% TEK. Plus the 200% is diminishing and has a max payout if I understand correctly. diminishing? how's that? isn't it the same as in HoboNickels' case but instead of 2% per 10 days 4%?

guys, please make a list of those videos and pictures somewhere so we can easily find it and entertain ourselves

I also had that idea already. The problem is, that you can write a bot, that drives for you. everything a human can do can be botted, except something creative, but that probably can not be done by all people otherwise... good thing is, that at the beginning it doesn't make sense to write a bot, because it costs a lot of time. But if the coin growed, you have a lot of cheaters...
nevermind, the community can grow bigger and help with the development of the game. It could be 3D in the future, for example. I'm starting to like these concepts. Instead of waiting for some games to adpot crypto currencies, let's integrate them into the game from the very beginning, make the game fun to play and the word will spread among people who like playing games (a lot of them).

As a big fan and rider of motorcycles, I'm really glad someone made this coin. Although I'm better on the road than on the dirt, let's play this game and win all the coins!!

Why the price keeps falling? It's very demoralizing. Because people are selling?
