Holy hell! This is nostalgia at its finest. I am somewhat surprised this thread is even alive still.
you are right man. it is so amazing, specially seeing that the original OP still managing and updating this thread since 2017 is really a Record in itself. hats off to Bitcore Team and their dedication towards bitcointalk.
almost every other project abandoned their threads if not 100% then probably 90% of the threads are dead and rest of them are active only by their users and community members. but this guy is something else man.

10% Block Reward Bonus to decentralize hashrate

The CFC has approved a bonus mining rewards campaign to decentralize mining hashrate. This gives a 10% bonus over the block reward to any pool operator that has <30% total hashrate.

Read more here 👉 https://www.firo.org/2022/09/10/cfc-bonus-mining-reward.html
that an great opportunity for miners. specially at a time of ETH Merge Event when ETH is going from POW to POS. a large number of miners will be looking for potential projects and coins to mine.
and this 10% bonus will surely encourage a lot of Miners to start Mining FIRO coin. Good luck with that.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your plan with Bitcoin? on: September 10, 2022, 06:38:12 PM
I,m starting my crypto journey last year but due to high volatility I won't make good profit so I decided to first learn about crypto and also  start investing in every big dump so  in future I'm sure Bitcoin give us great return ...
you need to make a plan of investment in dumps. not every dump is for investing. sometime a dip gets dipper and dipper. so it is better to gain proper knowledge first and then invest only as much as you can afford to loose. do not invest all your money.
you can also increase your profit by learning trading and other earning methods.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: September 09, 2022, 05:12:13 PM
On September 7-10, 2022, Axie Infinity will host the three-day "AxieCon" e-sports event in Barcelona with $1 million in prize money:
https://bsc.news/post/zyori-axiecon-is-the-culmination-of-our-work-to-gather-axie-infinity-community
https://axiecon.axieinfinity.com/
lets see how this event helps axie infinity gain the lost trust of the community and the huge player base which they lost after the massive Ronin hack and SLP price drop.
$1 million is a huge reward. I hope they use it well and give it to deserving ones who actually support the project.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: September 09, 2022, 05:08:19 PM
Musk is just for Tesla and SpaceX. He has concerns over Bitcoin because of the greenhouse emissions emitted when mining Bitcoin. I think that is why he like DOGECOIN. Musk will not support Bitcoin for sure.
did he said anything to confirm this statement? I always thought he's just joking and trolling about Dogecoin. I still think he's not serious about it. he might have invested in dogecoin but for him throwing some million dollars is not a big deal. and this was a good investment for him considering if he invested in dogecoin at right time.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your plan with Bitcoin? on: September 09, 2022, 05:04:05 PM
Hi all,

I started investing in crypto February this year but due to the high price of Bitcoin did not start investing in it until mid June just after the crash.

Since then I have been DCA every week and currently own 2% of a Bitcoin at an average price of £17,900.

My goal is to hold Bitcoin until it reaches £500k - £1m, i know it will take a long time but will be worth it.

I am hoping these current prices last a lot longer so that we can all continue to DCA at low prices.

Just wondering how everyone else invests in Bitcoin? How often do you buy and how long do you plan to hold?
you are a lucky person that you have enough spare money to invest in bitcoin and hold them for long term. I personally am not that financially strong and don't have much savings that i could invest in bitcoin. whatever I earn spent on my family needs.
but for the future I definitely have the plans to invest in Bitcoin and accumulate as much as I can. and hold them until they worth millions.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 Bitcoin Traders Arrested Due To Illegal Trading on: September 08, 2022, 12:29:48 PM
Well the thing is, it's already illegal yet they risked by engaging on it and they should know the consequences through it. I think money laundering was the main case here and the Bitcoin p2p was just the thing they use. Those who know what Bitcoin is knows well that it was just used as an instrument but for some people that still lacking that knowledge might attribute Bitcoin as scam and that saddens me tbh.
they probably thought they'll never get caught which is true some time for small and individual traders. thousands of people in bangladesh are trading bitcoin without any issue.
but these are not normal traders they are a Gang of traders and probably also involved in money laundering.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Faucet website on: September 07, 2022, 06:21:38 PM
I have mined some coins and want to share with people. Prefer a faucet website, people click one or twice a day, input the wallet address and send it automatically.
No ads, no task, no redirect etc...do not know any facuet website can do that
if you want to just share them with people without any return or gain. than what is the point of creating a faucet website? you can simply do a Giveaway or Airdrop and distribute the coins among as many people as you want.
people make faucets to make profits. they share only small amount of money they earn from the websites (from ads etc) with their visiters and keep the rest.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: coin mixer service on: September 07, 2022, 06:19:39 PM
There always be a market for mixers/tumblers business in crypto world especially for this era of full of regulation.

Opening such business have cons and should be taken with risks. Check chipmixer, they have a website .com domain for information only then those who to want to use the mixer will need to use TOR network for security and privacy wise.
the mixer business itself have risk as well as the users have risk of getting scammed. it is really important to properly check a mixer before using it. Chipmixer is only one of a few which has a very clean and good reputation here.
and they did a very smart move to shifting to TOR network to avoid any trouble by govts and authorities.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How is that most DeFi Platforms are getting major blow(hacking) of their funds on: September 06, 2022, 08:40:11 AM
Hi , Just came across the latest news

DeFi Platform Kyber Network Discloses $265K Exploit

https://www.coindesk.com/tech/2022/09/01/defi-platform-kyber-network-discloses-265k-exploit-vows-to-reimburse-all-funds/?utm_medium=referral&utm_source=rss&utm_campaign=headlines

1) What could be the reason that most DeFi Exchanges are prone to hacking

2) Are these exchanges not robust enough (front end or back end) on code level that they could safeguard themselves

3) Seems most of these platforms are paying less attention to their security

Please share your opinion. and if you have more points or observations , feel free to add
1) lack of security and and betryal by the internal dev team.

2) I don't think exchanges have to do anything to secure a defi project.

3) true.
17  Economy / Services / Re: Launch my Crypto project, where to start? on: September 06, 2022, 08:37:58 AM
it is just an article on how to create a crypto currency. but it is not a proper guide and there is no technical details about how exactly create a token or crypto currency.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS NOT DEAD! on: September 04, 2022, 05:19:46 PM
bitcoin has always been rumored to be dead and has been declared dead almost hundreds of times but until now bitcoin still exists, you can find it on google with the keyword bitcoin is dead, no need to worry about that bitcoin will still live  Cool
And those rumors were always spread by haters of bitcoin. and team members of those who forked bitcoin and then claim that their version of bitcoin is the real bitcoin. bitcoin will never die.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: September 02, 2022, 08:12:09 AM
with falling prices, it is likely to go bankrupt and eventually scam too

The price of the AXS token has fallen very deep from its all-time high, but that doesn't mean this project will be a scam, because please note that the AXS token price at the time of the ICO was $0.1 USD and the daily trading volume of the AXS token is still above $100 million USD. . So this project will not die easily.
but the recent price drop impacted the users very badly. regular players who were playing this game to make some money earn some tokens. are now lost their motivation to play. most of them already quitted and those who left are slowly using their faith in this project.
the devs really need to do something really soon if they want to save their userbase and trading volume.
20  Economy / Services / Re: [Donations] Fundraising for the Floods disaster in Pakistan | Raised ~1000 USD on: September 02, 2022, 07:58:08 AM
this thread gives me little hope that humanity still exist. OP for his fund raising and all the donators for their donations proved that we have good people among us. my prayers are with flood affected and survivors. hope they receive this help well and on time.
