Firo v0.14.10.0 mandatory update
This is a mandatory release that implements the new block reward division as voted on and creates the community fund. It also reduces the block time to 2.5 minutes.
Update before the hard fork on 16 June. Please backup your wallet prior to updating for safety.
I am interested in the FIRO coin, Circulating Supply of 13,267,536 FIRO, after I saw that FIRO was worth investing in, because it once touched the price of $160, even though now it's only $1.6 am I not wrong this time investing in FIRO, give me confidence about FIRO. |

Yes and I wish the dev would have left the name as Zcoin... but that's history now.  +1 Big mistake. Biggest. Good old times when we mined ZCoin using Lyra2Z algo, very power-friendly at that time. The reason behind the rebrand is to avoid confusion between zcash. We have a video explaining behind the rebrand https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W433zQ61YEMBut now only 25% of coins goto miners.  |

Yeah, ZCoin was so much better as brand name than Firo... just sounds stupid. Another thing is - what is the point of these BR halvings? To have less and less miners to mine the coin? It was 2k+ miners when BR was 12.5, just about 1-1.2k when BR was 6.25, and now its just above 600 according to miningpoolstats.stream.

Also, this was the community that voiced and voted. Miners can again vote as they did before. |

 Firo v0.14.11.1 ReleaseThis emergency release fixes a bug which results in Lelantus spends to fail verification when a new anonymity set is started. Additionally, it also adds a fix to ensure that in the case where a spent coin's cover set is constructed from two parts, both parts are included in the corresponding Groth/Bootle proof's transcript. We recommend users to update immediately to ensure you will be able to sync with the correct chain when a new Lelantus anonymity set is started (approximately in a week with current usage).
