1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: September 09, 2014, 03:15:04 PM
We feel like you've effectively stolen our money under a false pretenses and false promises. You cannot be surprised we're all pissed off

As we have announced previously, we are testing the power supplies and waiting for CE certification team to get back to us. Until then, we cannot deliver X3s, no matter how much you flood this thread. Note that we will continue manufacturing X3s and as soon the PSU is ready we'll deliver everything that was manufactured.

We have also started working with a better factory that is able to manufacture everything very fast.

Dear blackarrow,

What about "rent a minion" then?
You stated that electricity is expensive in China and your mining pool was blocked by ISP/big wall firewall.
Hence Black Arrow can't really provide this service.
Will you at least refund these customers?
2  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: September 09, 2014, 10:13:16 AM
This is getting us nowhere. For 10 months we as customers keep posting our very justifiable rage posts and Black Arrow keep deleting posts and withhold our money.

Black Arrow should acknowledge that it's not invincible and we as customers have different tools at our disposal as Hong Kong Police, Hong Kong Consumer Council, Hong Kong Small Courts, HSBC bank and even FBI and different EU and international law enforcement agencies.

So, Black Arrow, come forward and bring fare FIAT and bitcoin compensation proposition on the table.
Otherwise your marketing expenses for conferences like http://insidebitcoins.co.uk/london2014/sponsors/ will be utterly fruitless and even damaging to your brand as well as any future marketing strategies to boost your market perception.

whatever happened to the 'rent a minion'?  Have they even started hashing for people yet?

Definitely NOT for me
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: August 29, 2014, 06:31:48 AM
I've seen consumer alerts on the Consumer Council's site for companies with 70 complaints.  I do not see Black Arrow listed.

is it possible that not even 70 people filed a complaint against Black arrow after all of their actions against customers and all of this time.

the council does take action, will visit the business if it does not respond,  and has legal actions at it's disposal, but they're not going to do much if people don't actually let them know there is a problem.

stop waiting for 'someone else'

they're fucking YOU.  do something about it.

This is Consumer Council's site http://www.consumer.org.hk/website/ws_en/ ?
Is there any instruction how to file a complaint?

They told me this after my refund request tonight and only here the blackarrow in this forum. No real proof is possible.

So you did your refund request somewhat recently?

Im literally in the middle of deploying our new help desk software (going to have actual tickets now, and everything back that we lost from the old site, the database has been taking much longer so we could also pull along the ticket system). Once we have that in place and integrated, all emails will now be auto created into tickets, and assigned to our new CS reps. Within the next month things should get much smoother, and with that much better comunication channels.
Dude, just give him his money back.

Dear Black Arrow, please come over here and write some meaningful response in this thread.

This is also true but I am just trying to relay the info from BA for those who missed it due to the spam/rage/trolls.

I don't know the exact details on how tapeout was paid for but based on the last comment I would guess they did use at least some of the preorder funds to pay for it. Some clarification on this would be nice as I too remember something about r&d being covered by their own funds.

I still wouldn't be surprised if BA finds that they do have enough cash on hand and decide to give out refunds. Would definitely make a few people happy.

jimmothy, what kind of affiliation do you have with BA?
11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: February 10, 2014, 12:08:44 PM
So this would be another delay of 1 week? You said tapeout would be this week 10-15/Feb?

On Jan 30 Black Arrow said this:

We have now finalized the design process using our newly improved code and will start manufacturing the chip (tape out) in the next few days.

so next few days turned out to be 3 weeks, hence it doesnt matter, they can say just about anything.

I appreciate it.

I have arrived back in denver, I will get some quick things out quick, then going to pass out.

Communication:
BA and the re sellers are putting together a new system of communication, to aid in the internal communication, and the communication with our customers and the community. We are looking at a bevy of options, including some sort of newsletter, to official twitter. Please let us know if you have any suggestions.

Customer Service:
I have completed highering of additional guys here at minersource, and they are working through training now. Expect better response times, and phone hours in the future. BA has also hired many additional staff and should see an improvement as well.

Tape out/Verisilicon/Chips
Besides what is covered under NDA (I know I know... but a NDA is a NDA), I can assure you I have seen the full contracts with BA and Verisilicon, and that BA has paid them in full. The other re sellers can confirm this. Based on all the info I have, the May 1 day is quite firm. No guarantees as you guys know by now, but thats the best I can do.

Status of other Parts:
The PCBs pretty much designed (waiting for those final pin specs as said before), the heatsinks are done, the custom 1400w psus are done, the controller and its software are in their final phases. I will get additional info and pictures on this as soon as I can.

We will also have a much greater presence at trade shows, we will publish a list as soon as we sign up for them. We will at least be at Quakecon 2014.

EDIT2:
I have some pics from the trip... nothing really important or relevant, but id be happy to post them if anyone wants.

Are you serious? After all this endless teasing and teasing and teasing about "announcement", one would definitely expect something bit more substantial.

Guys (especially ones that are fluent with laws) do we have legal grounds for refund option here?
14  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: January 05, 2014, 01:46:57 PM
from BA website:

Hosting starts in May 2014

Wait. What?
God, I hope they don't mean it for existent pre-2014 orders.

Dear Black Arrow LTD, can we get some clarification here on cloud mining starting date please?
15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: December 25, 2013, 01:58:12 PM
Did order via BA website, sent wire transfer on December 11th, still no updates from BA.. opened ticket week ago, alas, no motion except it seems ticket was deleted from the system.
Overall this is very upsetting.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any suggestions for Cryptography related reading? on: December 24, 2013, 03:22:58 PM
Well try several ones:
- Koblitz: Number Theory and Cryptography - get the crucial understanding of elliptic curves math from complete zero,
- then try a great "Introduction to Modern Cryptography" by Jonathan Katz and Yehuda Lindell
and you good to go.
