1  Economy / Reputation / User advertising through trust on: September 16, 2019, 01:30:58 AM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2658920  Look at this trust this guy has been leaving, he is advertising binary options through the trust system, lol Smiley Smiley
2  Economy / Reputation / Re: Roger Ver why is he red trusted? on: September 15, 2019, 09:43:59 PM
Some fair points raised but I still agree with Roger on a lot of topics, especially the censorship of r/bitcoin.  Can't say anything negative about bitcoin or even any discussion of alternate coins and theories without the mods deleting your post.

He still genuinely wants all of crypto to succeed, he doesn't just hold bcash, he has lots of alts including fat stacks of bitcoin still.  I really think he is a good guy but he can be too passionate sometimes.  Think he is someone we need on our side because our main enemy is the traditional finance system.

I do other stuff while I'm logged in so its not really accurate on how much time I spent only on this forum.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: September 15, 2019, 06:36:01 PM
One of the few coins that is still mineable at home by a hobbyist and provides decent profits.  Its going to suck when they go full POS and there is nothing left for the little guys.
5  Economy / Reputation / Roger Ver why is he red trusted? on: September 15, 2019, 06:33:55 PM
I'm an avid watcher of Roger Ver's bitcoin channel and he was talking about bitcointalk forum and how his old threads have him labeled as a scammer.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=10310

I think Roger Ver is gernerally a good guy and has done a lot for crypto, He worked his butt off to promote bitcoin in the early days and is one of the reasons that crypto has come so far.

Why can't we just let people have their own beliefs on what the block size to be, I don't remember Roger actually ever stealing money from anyone, I don't think he deserves those red marks.
6  Economy / Reputation / Re: Does it really matter if we have weasels, scoundrels, or outright scammers in DT on: September 15, 2019, 06:25:32 PM
Everyone has their price and there are VERY few people that can't be bought.  Take Og Nasty, he held millions for the forum but he did end up returning them.  Maybe the potential payout wasn't big enough for him since people on this forum had his personal information and could likely track him down.  Now lets say it was a billion dollars or something, he probably would of skipped.

Ever since I saw Richard Branson's episode of MTV cribs I wanted to live on an island like the one he has.  Necker Island is awesome and I suggest you check it out on youtube if you don't know what I'm talking about.
8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: We are living in the best period known to man! on: September 15, 2019, 06:18:05 PM
The average modern human works more hours than someone did as a hunter gatherer.  Of course if you care about technology and stuff you prefer moder time.  I disagree about 20-40 years ago as well, people were paid a lot more compared to know and it was easier to afford housing and education.

30 years ago 35% of the world population lived in extreme poverty, now number is less than 10%. Do tell me more how people made more money back then.

In countries like the United States it was a lot easier to live,  Wages have dropped while CEO pay and wealth inequality has grown.  I had relatives making the equivalent of $40 in today's money out of high school in a factory.  Now people are lucky to be paid 10 bucks an hour in a lot of places. And look how much more it costs for a college degree compared to the 1960s and 1970s.

That's the cost of the shift of the industry, those kind of jobs went to Asia. We have  to adapt and keep learning new skills whole our life, that's how it goes.

College degree price indeed went up a lot, but if you are smart and choose something that is in high demand, you should be fine.If you decide to study gender studies, indology or whatever useless stuff , be prepared to have issues paying off student loans. Or if you don't have any ambition/skill and are satisfied with work in Mcdonalds don't be surprised to get low salary.

If there is one country in the world where if you are ambitious and capable you have good chance for success, that's United States. Unemployment level is at the lowest in the last 50 years, anyone capable shouldn't have issues in finding the job.

Unemployment numbers are totally manipulated, the average us citizen is not in good shape, middle class is disappearing.  "Anyone capable shouldn't have issues" can't believe your saying that nonsense.
9  Other / Off-topic / Majority of scammers come from what place? on: September 15, 2019, 06:16:34 PM
In your opinion where do you think most scammers come from?  I think either Nigeria or India from me with Russia being an honorable mention.
10  Economy / Reputation / Re: [self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source on: September 15, 2019, 06:15:11 PM
Am I allowed to report my own posts for this thread? Still trying to get 1 merit so I can post pictures.
11  Economy / Reputation / Re: New Sig Spammer/Blacklist (Clean start for all) on: September 15, 2019, 06:12:55 PM
I think burstposting isn't really a bad thing because some people are exceptionally fast readers and typers, You should probably be more leinent on burstposting.

They can't hold your hand, account security falls on you.  No one to blame but yourself.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: My facebook account got locked on: June 05, 2019, 03:30:57 PM
I've never had the problem on facebook but my twitter account was locked and then suspended a few months ago, no chance of speaking with a human and the only response I've gotten has been an automated one and placed in limbo in some queue. Hopefully you'll get it straightened out but on the bright side, the universe is probably doing you a favor.

As much money as these companies make, their customer service is completely terrible.  Can't even speak to a human , it is ridiculous.  Got my account locked before and still can't get it unlocked.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 18, 2018, 10:39:51 PM
So happy I unloaded this crap coin on the last pump.  Looks like its going to be a permanent bear season for monero.

I hope new investors don't get tricked into investing in this crappy alt that has no future.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: WHY MANY OF YOU ARE POOR on: October 18, 2018, 10:38:11 PM
A lot of people were born in a bad situation that was no fault of their own.  It makes me sick when people go around blaming the victims for their situation.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 3 coins in 2020? on: July 06, 2018, 03:10:18 PM
Eth and BTC are the two kings so It's very difficult for any altcoin to compete with them. Maybe privacy coins can in the future though.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will the bear market last? on: June 30, 2018, 08:41:34 PM
It looks like the bear market is already over, the bulls are about to come out in full force.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term argument for bitcoin on: June 30, 2018, 08:34:48 PM
The last miners will be fighting over the last bitcoin in the far future.  This iw hy mcafee predicts it will be over 1 million dollars.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's next for bitcoin? on: June 30, 2018, 12:20:28 PM
The next goal should be for the major players like goldman sachs to open up their own exchanges for bitcoin.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Face up to reality: The game is over on: June 28, 2018, 08:11:36 PM
This is barely a crash,  Bitcoin will end up going over 50k at the end of the year.
