Invest at your own risk, these shills look sketchy. All new accounts, etc.

Just FYI. Message from project dev: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4329832.msg39923841#msg39923841

Disclaimer: I have not invested on the new platform yet, though. Only bought coins previously from the f1cx exchange. But I've checked out the crypto options platform and it looks OK to be honest. Nothing sketchy yet.

Is there any airdrop ?
Airdrop is over for now. Small sized airdrops may be restarted later. Project dev Bruce_Wayne had indicated the possibility. But no concrete word on that yet.

Project Dev announced on the forum today that the cryptocurrency options platform is now officially open. Derivative instruments of more than 1600 cryptocurrencies can be traded on it. Following is an excerpt of his announcement:
"Hello everyone, good news.

The new platform has gone live minutes ago, you can register at https://exchange-options.com

Join MTC rounds and trade options with 1600+ cryptocurrencies at spot prices with up to 100X leverage

minimum contract limit loss is $10 + $2.5 contract fee per contract. %4.75 interest is charged hourly for the leveraged amount.

No lower limit joining MTC round contracts.

Deposit BTC, BCH, LTC, DASH, DOGE and MTC to fund your account to take advantage of the next generation trading system at https://exchange-options.com

Good luck and enjoy."

Not sure why moderator deleted this message some time back. Could anybody be kind enough to explain? Many thanks.
I am editing the message. Hope this is better and more informative for members here.

but MTC has nothing.

Zero transaction fees, lightning fast transactions, no miner support (extremely low mining payoffs) + AI maintained blockchain (self regulatory mechanism should the devs get greedy in the future).

1. Download the Marinecoin wallet.

2. Sign Up on Formula One Exchange (f1cx.com) and buy MTCs at 1 sat each. Transfer the MTCs to your wallet client from the exchange wallet so that you can verify the above (fees, speed, mining).

Then please comment if you continue to feel "MTC has nothing".

Bla bla bla. How much MTC did you earn now?

Zero. This post was not meant for airdrop. Only awareness. Hope it was not lost on you.  Smiley

This is funny. Make a thread accusing an altcoin of spam and then those spammers spam the spam thread.  Cheesy

97% premine

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=578570.msg6324316#msg6324316

This is old news. Entire pre-mine is now being distributed through the promotional bounty based airdrop. Devs have also bought back all mined coins in Oct'17 for 1 DOGE per MTC. Not able to find the BCT post where they had put up the notice for buyback at the moment.
Total coin supply: 10 Bn
Coins to be distributed through airdrop: 9.5 Bn
Dev will retain: 100 Mn
Still undecided: 400 Mn
So far distributed through airdrop: 1.5 Bn

Has no one else noticed this is the new spam coin from Jnr members?
I wouldn't go near it just due to that.

Everyone knows these kind of threads are all fake and manipulation.
Always newbie/jr accounts trying to sell you a shit coin.

Nobody's selling anything for God's sakes! Why is it so difficult to explain a simple project and distribution model to some people? Can you please do 5 minutes of research before posting anything? Can we expect a minimum level of maturity from a Senior Member as you? I am tired of having to repeatedly explain to people. If you'll be kind enough to spare 5 minutes of reading time, please read: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3294495.msg34392175#msg34392175

Since some of you are anyways prejudiced against the project, there's no point in trying to convince you. I tried some time back with a detailed post (if you care to see above) citing the exact reason why some of us are forced to post from Newbie and Brand New Accounts and why some posts look spammy. But to no avail. So I'll let it be. Go on. Trash talk if it gives you peace and don't listen to reason. But your posts are insulting and full of ignorance. Please join the project's Discord channel for a little time to see the community's interaction if some of you think it's the same person making posts.

I tried to explain to some of my friends about the advantages of cryptocurrencies in general and why tokens were necessary. And some of them were just being difficult. They would keep on mumbling "ponzi", "hackers", "mumbo jumbo money". So I stopped trying anymore. I'll do the same with you. Keep on shilling your own projects and don't listen to anyone else.

Hope you have done enough research before deeming a coin untouchable.
Here's a link where I have laid bare some points about the project and reasons for why mostly Newbie accounts post for MTC: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3294495.msg34392175#msg34392175
It's not what it seems to you at first glance. You can't judge a book by its cover.

Idk if marinecoin is rewarding users for spamming bitcointalk... but that's basically all that is happening.
I am sorry to hear that you feel that Marinecoin posts are spam. Why don't you join the community to find out of it is a legitimate project instead of shitposting like this? The project's ICO is almost entirely an airdrop based on a promotional bounty and managed by Artificial Intelligence (AI). A lot of us in the community are working hard to educate all regarding this and then posts like yours make us sad that people don't make any effort to research and try to be keyboard warriors.

A few points for your consideration:
1. Marinecoin ICO is being managed by an AI engine called Jarvis which makes suggestions to ICO seekers before posting to Bitcointalk. Jarvis then compares the actual posted message with its original suggestion(s) to see if the post merits an airdrop to the participant and accordingly rewards him/her with MTC.
2. Jarvis is currently in its learning phase and hence makes sentence/phrase suggestions that may look spammy and lacking in grammar. Hence, a lot of posts made by certain members may look spammy. Over time as Jarvis learns more, its language will improve and consequently post quality will too. Hope we will then see a change in your attitude. Or not.
3. Many of our Community Members' posts were unfairly deleted probably because some users reported them. One of our community members refers to these users as "bad apples of the tree" and rightly so. Please understand that the project cannot be a scam if there is no ask. The dev never asked for any money from anyone. He has so far been running the project out of his own pocket. And will continue to do so. Nobody needs to pay a single dime for getting the airdrop. All he asks from others is to be a valuable member of the community. You could do this by promoting the project, build DApps on the Marinecoin platform or simply just help others get acquainted with MTC.

If you had time enough to make a post like this, I think you can spare 5 minutes to visit the site and check out the project. Hopefully you'll be impressed. In my experience with MTC, I found that it had lightning fast transactions (just do 1 txn to see for yourself; you'll be blown away), zero fees and does not support miners at all (extremely low mining payoffs). What will it be to make you a believer?
