Just wanted to know is anything being worked on in the backend ?

This Coin has the real & ultimate potential to hit it big in the future just like PIVX.

If there is No Dev. around then someone should come ahead & plan to takeover who can carry off this Coin & Roadmap on his shoulders responsibly.

Waiting for some action on this Coin as in past few weeks, the Trading on Cryptopia & Yobit has really rocked.

Excited to hear if anything is really getting worked upon, if Yes then share the timely updates here because that could really keep the Coin & Community alive.

Minimum stake age is 24 hours. It means your expected reward starts growing after first 24 hours. (first 24 hours do no count...)
Another important factor is input. If you recieved 500K coins in more than just one transaction. (it means more inputs)

If a wallet holds small inputs that are not competitive once mature, the owner of the wallet has the ability to put all small inputs together into one big.  By sending them to a new wallet or sending them to the same wallet that they are held in at the moment in one single transaction. (will result in only one input)

The quantity of inputs is a factor that should be taken into consideration more seriously. Every input, once it matures and starts the staking process, is in competition with other inputs attempting to stake. Knowing that the network is setup to produce a block every 60 seconds, there is a limit of about 1440 blocks per day that can be produce by PoS . While having multiple inputs of coins ready to stake is a good thing for the network, it can be a resource intensive task for the CPU. The objective is to find an optimal range of input quantity so that the CPU isn't overloaded, and also that the staking process continues to add security to the network by having many inputs (blocks) competing for stake.

Reward is from POW phase. (check the date) During the POW phase, reward per block was 7 000 IMX coins.

To reach such reward in POS.
You will have to stake 1 M coins for at least 11 days.

POS interest is 25% per year. (25% for every 365 days.....means 25/365= 0.068% per day)

When POW finished there were 109 231 963 IMX coins (on block 30 000).
IMX is on block 46 790 now. And total coin count is 109,251,696 IMX. (So only new 19 733 IMX coins were generated in pure POS)

Saying it again, but both me and the other developer have technical backgrounds and my updates coming in the following days will prove this.

While we tried to be as transparent as possible and we took the best measures we could to ensure that the project would progress with a consistent vision in mind.

The true resource that the Pure Vidz network has at this time is traffic, and in order to show the community how serious I am about this project and how much I care about this community I am taking a decision to help the community monetize on the traffic that Pure Vidz receives. In addition to the original whitepaper, there will be an additional Pure Vidz marketplace where bidders can bid on advertisement slots in VIDZ that will be shown to the users of the Pure Vidz network.

We'll release some metrics on traffic starting in a couple days in order to give the market an understanding of the potential revenue that could be earned and used towards burning coins.

I agree, it doesn't look the best. I think it should either be hidden, or, you could keep it that way and make the header respond by getting darker when the user hovers over it. But it is still early. They are more focused on getting the UI working. The extra visual fluff will come later. I'm actually really impressed with the dev team. They do not disappoint.

Would someone be kind enough to detail the specifics of how the interplanetary file system works. We watched some videos but it is not being elucidated in the way we would like it to be. Any additional information would be helpful. Feel free to make it more technical as well. Google is our friend.

We are also curious as to when (and how) the coin will be integrated into the website. What will the fiat gateways look like? Will it be easy for non-crypto savvy individuals to acquire vidz?

P.S. if these answers will come in over the next days or weeks we are more than willing to wait. However, the value of the coin rests, in our opinion, on the integration of the token into the website and it would be useful to know a bit more. Moreover, if we have missed some finer details in the white paper we apologize.

Likes dislikes and total views are part of the most recent update to the site. As the system evolves and improves we will be looking to integrate these stats more directly into the service - that will be part of the UI update coming in mid Feb though as we need to give the site time to populate the data before we use it for anything more than raw stats.


Subtitles are not part of the scope of the initial project but is still something we are looking to tackle. HTML5 <Video> tag only supports WebVTT subtitles which provides a barrier for us natively supporting them for all items. We are looking at options for how to tackle that but it is not something I would expect us to work on before the full 1.0 release of the site. Subtitles will primarily become important with foreign movie and anime series support which has the added issue of having less sources to pull accurate metadata from (title, description, air date, etc)
