Any official news on this project? I guess lots of people are still enjoying the airdrop program with this and they expect some solid development progress very soon. Imho. Smiley

I think most updates are announced in the telegram channel, although during these market conditions, the participation is quite low
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: XEL - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: March 02, 2019, 03:28:31 PM
is this coin bleading............dead?

I don't think so. But like a lot of project now, the hype is down and they probably run in slow modus

Most projects outside of the top 30 are quite silent these days. But would be cool to have some kind of monthly or quarterly update. Any recent news from EK?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: GRAFT - Universal Payment Processing Network on: March 02, 2019, 03:26:11 PM

Any ETA on the fee reward structure to go live for the super nodes ?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement on: March 02, 2019, 03:22:31 PM
Moreover, you can't claim a reward after 3 years since you purchased Skyminer. Who will be interested in this? I thought that the owner of Skyminer should get a reward so long as his Skyminer is serving the network.

I think we need to differentiate between guaranteed reward and the possible reward from fees.

As far as I get it, you will be rewarded by fees as long as you serve the network with your bandwidth
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ALQO] Scalable Payment Network | Swiss Fiat Exchange: Bitfineon | Liberio dApp on: March 02, 2019, 03:18:07 PM
It is end of Q1 now only thing that there is no new release

1. They said they need a new codebase now to launch the exchange

2. Jared mentioned that VC funding is required to launch the exchange. However, Kevin says differently that they will launch they exchange without VC funding if needed

3. Fan bois are slowly dying

In summary they will not be able to raise VC funding without a product that has actual users. They banned most of their community members that were forcing them to answer the hard questions and to help keep them keep focused.  The project will die slowly during the rest of 2019.

Will wait for the fan bois to now comment. Not sure how much more red flags you need than this. They were not transparent before but now the writing is on the wall, Jared choose to be transparent to not misrepresent information since he can be sued as he is based in the US

Well won't be seeing me back on this thread. I have fully excited this scam. Guess it happens to the best of us

Videos of what took place or continue to take place of ALQO

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljkaq_he-BU&feature=youtu.be

I personally think, switching to a new codebase could be a good step in the long run. There is one whole month left for the team to deliver the bitfineon beta in Q1. As far as I know, the beta will be launched either way, independently from any funding.

The bear market hurts every project and I am not really surprised for the need of fresh capital. Especially since the dev fee can't sustain proper development at these prices
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Obyte: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: February 25, 2019, 02:09:53 PM
There is a proposal about extending the Obyte protocol with timestamps
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1L5i0NNL2h7tgf-ZXo18ozHABSlciQUAE5x0ynV7FzyQ/edit

Your opinion is appreciated.

Love the concept and the idea of implementing the BIP format for further updates.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN: ELIXIR (ELIX) Crowdfunding and E-Commerce With Token Rewards on: December 24, 2018, 12:06:18 PM
Beause they never did the lending part which was the main sales point...

Why the price down so much? Huh

Maybe they will integrate it at a certain point later on. But besides that, the team is constantly building, which I really appreciate. Especially in a bear market
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: December 23, 2018, 06:38:51 PM
Perhaps what happens with XEM is wait and be patient. As we know, they do not stop and some projects are currently related to XEM directly or indirectly. Maybe I don't expect much from XEM now, but they are good for the long term.

I really like how NEM is building partnerships and I agree, that they will definitely help the project longterm. 2019 will get very interesting as I have quite some hope in the new foundation. Especially since i hope to see catapult on the public chain in 2019 as well
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: October 16, 2018, 03:31:47 PM
If you like football, collectible games, a little bit of betting and cryptocurrency (especially NEM), you should check my new video about beta project Kryptofootball that is taking speed day by day. Enjoy!

That is pretty cool. Thanks for sharing. I actually really like the progress the team is making. Good to see all the partnerships and announcements. Especially I think the community updates are great.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: WINGS ★ Where DAO Unicorns Are Born! ★ Token launched! on: September 24, 2018, 07:09:35 AM
Recently I did prediction on WINGS for qiibee (if somebody is not familiar with project - here is ANN thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5026361.0)

I have a question, if my number will be close to the number of funds collected, which reward can I get if lets say I locked 100 WINGS ?
Of course it will demand from number of tokens sold, number of predictions, what other factors?
Just interesting to understand WINGS algorithm on particular example

You also have 2 more days to make forecast for qiibee
It depends on many factors such as: time when you made the forecast, the rating of the forecaster and so on. Until developers publish the formula by which all this is calculated-it is impossible to calculate the potential reward

I see, so may be they will decide to keep formula secret..
Also the process might be a bit difficult to people new to crypto (so I wrote a bit of explanation here https://steemit.com/crypto/@flodner/forecast-on-wings-qiibee-loyalty-on-blockchain
It would be much easier if users could buy Wings and ETH directly on the platform (may be even with fiat)

Yes it would be much easier to directly buy Wings on the platform, but there is quite a low level of usage or return for people to make everything interesting. I hope the next bull market will increase the adoption and interest as such that there is more than just pump and dump
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] BITDEGREE - Revolutionizing education with blockchain on: September 23, 2018, 08:06:16 PM
The online education space is very crowded and many other competitors have established partnerships with reputable schools, which is something that BitDegree lacks. BitDegree’s sponsorship model is unproven and i am unsure whether BitDegree will obtain a large market share in this space.

But people are unsatisfied with their educational experience or cannot afford it all together. We're not looking to completely replace other educational institutions. Our goal is the co-creation of value where teachers/students and employers would get the most bang for their buck.

With gamification, scholarships, and job-matching all in one, we're offering something that hasn't been done yet. In just half a year we've managed to gain a userbase of ~80thousand students. And we've just begun.

That is an amazing number. Can you tell us something about the completion rate of the courses and how many people are taking more keep on using the platform? Would be really  interesting to see how the growthrate will be in the next bull run
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Obsidian ODN - CryptoCurrency & Secure Anonymous Messaging on: September 23, 2018, 07:59:45 PM
what about odin project? did anyone receive coins already and is there separate ann thread for that?

yeah i too was waiting for the snapshot process to be complete. any idea how long it will take @team.

I think an update is soon to come. Will be very interesting how everything will turn out. Especially since ODN seems to be supported as well. I think the best place for new information is still discord right now. Hope they don't forget to announce it here as well
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: September 23, 2018, 07:55:56 PM

Almost every month one exchange gets hacked. Its like exchange owners never learned any lessons from previous hack. Or they allow to get "hacked" and they
split share with hackers Huh

Thats why every day i more and more hate centralized exchanges. I almost create account on zaif but they request full account verification and i dont never again
give my info to anyone.

I think hacked exchanges are part of the game as it is very lucrative for every hacker out there to target them. The hacker earns a lot of money and since most hackers like the challenge, had some fun doing it. Cold storage or multi signature are just some ways to prevent further losses. I hope that more exchanges take the security topic more serious or they will simply be overrun by DEX

That is the dark side of centralized exchanges current we heard so many news regrading hack events but this is fault of the services providers. I also think DEX has more bright future because of its secure structure and soon people will move to that ecosystem.

I agree that DEX might be one way to go. I think some project will establish a multi coin wallet with atomic swap or something like that in the future. But usability is the key function to all of this. Anyway, nice to see NEM making some gains. I think it really bottomed out and the hard work of the whole team might soon pay off

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: GRAFT - Universal Payment Processing Network on: September 23, 2018, 07:50:35 PM
it's completely evident that the team is doing PLENTY to build an infrastructure. Don't throw around shade wherever you assume when you're ignoring clear efforts to sustain an evolving designation for application.
completely evident?
- there was a video from cell phone about verifone terminal 6 months ago
- there was a drawing with merchendisers
- there was some interview
- there was fudding Electroneum (which is pretty lame thing to do, even though I belive ETN is shitcoin). How come they didn't compare Stellite and their INSTANT transactions (literally instant, when you switch browser window, transaction is finished and your wallet balance is already updated) compared to GRAFT shitty ridicilous wallet that doesn't update balance every time and that throws "internal server error" on attempt of sending?

You call that "pretty obvious"? Other projects have weekly progress updates and weekly discussions, GRAFT has ZERO.

TWO MONTHS AGO they started supernode alpha testing. TWO MONTHS AGO. It is still unclear if after that comes beta, after that gama, after that zeta... untill end of time. How much do you know about progress of supernode testing? Do you have any dates? What kind of project doesn't even say at least "supernodes launch is expected in january" for example? I will tell you what kind of project - the one that is hoping to survive for as long as they can milk their cows - you and me...

They had like 1 update in past 2 months "hey guys we are sooper dooper excited everything goes well"

Guys that took both my and your money, screwed us with ICO (and I mean it was literally ripoff) didn't do ANYTHING to protect our investments... and they don't have 5 minutes every week to write few sentences on official channel? Just to know that they are doing SOMETHING? They took guy from telegram channel (who was often there) and put them for community manager. They didn't even have THAT.

You call that COMPLETELY EVIDENT?

Well, I agree that the team could share more detailed information on how everything working out and how near the supernode process is. I would love to see a two weekly or monthly update too. But itīs always hard to build something new and will take a lot of time.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ALQO] Scalable Payment Network | Swiss Fiat Exchange: Bitfineon | Liberio dApp on: September 23, 2018, 07:43:15 PM
Make sure to head over to https://hub.alqo.app/ and register your account.

Since we are moving pretty quickly now it's nearly impossible for us to answer/catchup on all the messages in our Discord channels so we came up with the ALQO.HUB idea that will be much more organized and allow us to answer every single question as well as being part of ongoing discussions not just about ALQO but also about the whole crypto-space.

The new webpage looks great and the roadmap is really ambitious. I really like the path the whole alqo universe is taking and I appreciate the great work of the team. Definitely true that itīs hard to keep up with all the infos and news. I would love to see more posts over here since it keeps everything well curated.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: September 21, 2018, 01:42:00 PM
Soon september will be over, and i waiting for the DIM announcement that HYBSE will be delayed again  Grin

I just hope that will not happen but timeframes in software development are sometimes difficult to assess. I invested in ICO and will hold long term, let's see what happens in the next few years.

That is something most investors or generally people in crypto don't really get . It takes quite some time establishing all the necessary structures and develop something which isn't just another ERC20 token or some other cop&paste product. Patience will always are rewarded
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN: ELIXIR (ELIX) Crowdfunding, Lending and Payments Platform on: September 21, 2018, 01:35:41 PM
whats up guys, how is everything.
Crypto is strange place, when project was in building stage buying was coming.
now project is well developed, still no buyer confidence.

Keep up the good work for next bull run

Perhaps because simply when the project was under construction the whole market was going through a generalized upswing, while now we see the opposite: there are many other projects that make huge agreements with partners and giants of the car, finance, industry, other Coin they still launch their mainnet, but nothing seems to change their slow decline (I'm talking for example of Icon, Stellar, VeChain, Etc.).

Today all the Coin descend without apparent reason, just as before they all climbed without apparent reason; when the market will be mature I believe that it will reward the Coin and the Tokens with a real project and a real use in everyday life ..... and ELIXIR will be one of these projects that will be rewarded!

In crypto partnerships generally don't imply some high prices. Most coins are just hyped, nothing more. It is very hard to actually get a constant price growth. I hope that some usage/ adoption will make a change, but I guess the bearmarket will prevent any insane gains either way right now
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: September 21, 2018, 01:32:54 PM
@fonship All XEL's were premined . There is a fixed supply of 100 million coins . Until now coins that have been claimed are 91.676.277 XEL . I think this number will be close to the final circulating supply . There is no way to calculate earnings as forging rewards are based on fees of transactions . There might be some , there might be 0 . To gain forging rewards you need a balance of at least 1000 XEL in your wallet ( not exchange wallet ) .
@ImI Welcome back dude , let's move XEL forward
@Piston Honda EK just say something in slack today
" the computation wallet will be replaces by an improved version soon
i will try to make it modular though
so the litewallet should be enough and then you can plug the computation wallet into it " .
As for marketing , as you know decentralized projects are not the best in that , we as community are trying to find ways to help and promote XEL so new developers can come and help finish the platform . Any help is appreciated .

Well marketing is always hard to get started with and especially see some effects on the price. We could start with some signature banner bounty for example. Or try to get some kind of scientific article /statement about the capabilities of the project and try getting it published somewhere. Just some random thoughts here
