There are some nice news/updates on the Discord channel in the announcement section for everyone who missed it.
Would be best to share them on all relevant channels and I would say that bitcointalk is part of the relevant channels!
okay. Copied the recent three announcements from Discord see below:
1. Announcement on 30.01.2019
@everyone
Update: ALQO & Bitfineon Q1 2019
I begin this announcement by thanking the ALQO community for their patience while we build out our roadmap during this bear market, a time when anxiety can run high & sentiment can seem overly negative. Many projects will not make it out of this market intact & that is simply a sad reality in an industry such as crypto. Having said that, my trip to Germany has been very productive - I've been here almost 3 weeks. If you've been active in the #general chat channel, you may have noticed several discussions which Kevin & I took part in that gave details as to the work we were focused on during my time in Germany. I believe it is easier to work intensely while being physically present with your team & that an increased sense of focus & determination is fostered by close daily interaction. That has been the case with this trip. We have focused on Bitfineon development, ALQO 2.0 codebase (named: POLARIS), business operations maintenance, & partnerships.
Many speculated the purpose of my trip was to launch Bitfineon, & while that is a plausible assumption, you can see the scope is much larger. ALQO's ecosystem is complex, & to foster long-term viability, we need a wholistic approach predicated on a unique set of features which can only be found in building a new codebase in POLARIS. Many of the unique features & services that Bitfineon will offer will make use of POLARIS, and it's simply impossible to ignore its requirement for a successful launch provided the increased scope. Originally, we believed the Bitcoin Core code, which ALQO currently is built-on, would be sufficient; it simply is not - this realization was made several months ago, and the codebase planning began in earnest. We understand the complexity of the undertaking may bring scrutiny, but I can assure you Polaris will bring much needed innovation to ALQO & further delineate our project from the myriad of alt-coins presently available.
@everyone
POLARIS will enable:
1) POLARIS will empower the Easy-ICO, STO platforms being built on Bitfineon. It will allow us to issue prebuilt smart contract-like templates (via GAVEL to allow projects to launch fully compliant & error-free smart contracts for the purpose of accepting payments for their capital raise purpose. These can then be launch directly on Bitfineon.
2) POLARIS will allow us to create feature rich connectivity between Bitfineon & Liberio, such as in-wallet trading directly from Liberio on Bitfineon via our AUCTIONS platform. Settlement of auction payments will be handled via a discreet pre-built escrow smart contract developed for POLARIS.
3) POLARIS will enable a unique feature called Minimal Viable Chain (MVC). This feature will allow us to run Liberio on platform-agnostic devices where resources are limited, eliminating the need for complete copies of the chain to be present to process transactions.
4) POLARIS' highlighted feature is the GALE protocol, which is a fundamental departure from Bitcoin's codebase & its original input-output Nakamoto record-keeping structure (UTXO). On-chain operations will no longer consist of a string of simple inputs & outputs, but of fungible, cohesive & fluid-like account balance credits.
All POLARIS' features will be detailed in the upcoming release of the POLARIS lite-paper, which will be released in the next several days.
@everyone
Bitfineon Launch
Where does the new chain development leave the release of Bitfineon? It's a valid question, since it seems that many projects are launching exchanges & claiming it to be the next best thing - we are focused on building out tech that will validate this claim. Bitfineon CANNOT simply be another exchange, there are too many. It needs to have significant product identifiers & differentiators, & we have several, one of which is NEUTRINO (our proprietary GPU based matching engine, capable 60mn-plus tx/ps). And, POLARIS will enable a whole slew of features that competitors will be unable to copy. In addition, unique products such as ARENA - a social trading HUB based on competitive gamification elements found in many eSport competition formats but applied to trading - we believe will increase user adoption & bring significant value to the Bitfineon platform. Lastly, the BETA UI is completed, & backend testing is ongoing, however we need to complete the codebase before a launch is made. It is a possibility we may open registrations for Bitfineon before the codebase is completed, but currently we're not providing a timeline for this possibility. We hope you understand, & we sincerely share in your anticipation for the release of Bitfineon.
We hope you will continue with us in this journey & are able to see the value we're determined to build with ALQO. My goal since accepting the role of CEO in July of last year was to help Kevin build a strong product-line, powered by innovation, which would make for a resilient brand in ALQO for years to come.
2. Announcement on 31.01.2019:
New Advisor Announcement
Please extend a warm welcome to Emil Sterndorff as he joins Bitfineon GmbH as an advisor for our flagship planet, Bitfineon. Emil is a serial entrepreneur, experienced networker and negotiator. He is the Founder and CEO of Altcoin Magazine, a popular destination for cryptocurrency enthusiasts and blockchain researchers. Emil's addition to the Bitfineon team will have him focus on securing partnerships, developing and refining marketing initiatives and advising in the ongoing development of Bitfineon.

3. Announcement on 02.02.2019
New Codebase Info
We're happy to release further information regarding the new ALQO codebase, Polaris. This document showcases an overview of features which illustrates how ALQO will differentiate itself further and provide a growing set of use-cases to the ecosystem and crypto at-large. Please take a moment to read the document and ask questions you may have in #general.
There is a PDF linked in the Discord announcement. Do not know how to link it on bitcointalk
This is a very inspiring announcement. Such a pity the coin price is tanking.
By the way, which is currently the best and more profitable way to stake ALQO? Simple staking or masternode staking?

Which coin prices are not talking is the question? They are all going down and down and we can only hope this trend is going to stop soon.

Would be careful with this project before investing further. Team no longer gives direct answers to hard questions asked on discord. At this point nothing is concrete and they recently let go of the community managers to reduce cost.
From what I have read the main developer already cashed out during the last bull run and has multiple sports cars including an r8, which is fine i suppose. In anycase do some solid research before jumping in assuming low price and therefore an opportunity.
You are talking plain nonsense. Maybe you did not receive a straight answer, because some things have to stay in the company like in every normal business. So next time ask a reasonable question.
Main developer has a sport car, because he worked for a German game developing company, which created Krytek engine if it says something to you. Obviously lead devs are paid good in a such companies. So stop spreading false accusations and fud. I expect a bit more constructive post from Legendary member.
Your entitled to your opinion
. All questions asked were reasonable not only by me but by others. For anyone, reading feel free to join the discord and ask any operational questions. His company with his friend was more than 2 years ago and it has been calculated the amount he made which could not afford him the lifestyle or the R8 bought in 2018. ALQO did that for him which is fine as I said before.
Your obviously new in this space but the projects is starting to show red flags similar to other projects. I got rid of 50% of my ALQO bag and have the other 50% just incase they do deliver. Obviously it is in my best interest for it to succeed. But I will say what I have observed for the benefit of others.
All, I am saying is people do not be sheeps. Just DYOR thats all and ask questions.
Wont be following up on this. Will check back closer to the end of Q1. Enjoy the rest of your day
As posted by another user, stop making false accusations and state your opinion as a fact. Also stop pretend you know something about Kevin and co. when actually you know nothing. GL for you.

It is end of Q1 now only thing that there is no new release
1. They said they need a new codebase now to launch the exchange
2. Jared mentioned that VC funding is required to launch the exchange. However, Kevin says differently that they will launch they exchange without VC funding if needed
3. Fan bois are slowly dying
In summary they will not be able to raise VC funding without a product that has actual users. They banned most of their community members that were forcing them to answer the hard questions and to help keep them keep focused. The project will die slowly during the rest of 2019.
Will wait for the fan bois to now comment. Not sure how much more red flags you need than this. They were not transparent before but now the writing is on the wall, Jared choose to be transparent to not misrepresent information since he can be sued as he is based in the US
Well won't be seeing me back on this thread. I have fully excited this scam. Guess it happens to the best of us

Everyone can be ALQO critical. No one gets banned for asking critical questions.
When a certain group of people having their own, dubious, secret, innofficial anti ALQO Discord channel, where they planned and attempted hacks, there is no excuse for that and that resulted in a ban of certain community members. Screenshots from their conversations were leaked into the official Discord channel by the way. That a legendary bitcointalk member starts to defend hackers instead of fighting them, i really can not understand.

I personally think, switching to a new codebase could be a good step in the long run. There is one whole month left for the team to deliver the bitfineon beta in Q1. As far as I know, the beta will be launched either way, independently from any funding.
The bear market hurts every project and I am not really surprised for the need of fresh capital. Especially since the dev fee can't sustain proper development at these prices

For anyone interested:
There will be an AMA/Showcase for ALQO.
Questions for the AMA can be submitted until today 08 march 2019 in the AMA section on Discord.
From Kevin (ALQO team) on Discord in the AMA section:
Please post your questions for the upcoming AMA/Showcase here.
Please make sure to not ask questions multiple times - so first read all the questions before posting/asking.
PS: I‘ll edit this post on Friday and going to list all questions that are going to be covered in the AMA.
I might also include some questions from the livechat during the stream.

ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION
The ALQO Team is hacking registered Users on liberio, its a centralized online wallet that contain the privatekeys of all user in a MYSQL Database!
We researched the Blockchain and the 12 hacked liberio users had a connection to the kraken deposit wallets of Kevin Collmer, CEO and Head developer of ALQO and Bitfineon
Here is visualized the Transactions from the blockchain ALQO/BTC/ETH
And here are the Transaction as Text form so that everyone can do their own investigation.
It will be very helpful when some 3rd party blockchain analyse company investigate this and some influence talk about this!

Just wow, just wow. Is beta for the exchange out as well? Guess the exchange will be a nice honey pot for obtaining additional funds based on the below. How is this not in some news?
I wrote to some crypto related news sites but the problem is that i cant proof that the crypto-bridge user a48681588 is kevin collmer (CEO and Developer of ALQO/Bitfineon).
Kevin still say that its just a OTC trader but!
1. a48681588 received 100% of the dev fee
2. a48681588 market dump everytime 5-10 minutes after he received the coins from the dev fund adress
3. a48681588 always lose 5% to 35% when he market dump
4. a48681588 received his first payment 1-2 minutes after he created the account
5. it would be a big big big coincidence that the OTC-trader and the hacker are the same person!!!
This does not look like a OTC trader for me, does it for u?
Small reminder: few months ago i wanted to buy some ALQO from the team OTC and they dont wanted to give me a discount or sell me all of their dev funds (luckily i would lose a bunch of money)

Hello dtpman83, please stop this "its dumb, u dumb, u only want to FUD" talk. We want to talk about the 100% proofen FACTS that Kevin hacked the Liberio balance of 12 users proofen by the Blockchain.
Quote from: dtpman83 on March 22, 2019, 05:25:20 AM
One community member on Discord stated the below by the way for information purposes (I have not the technical knowledge to say anything about it): .
yannick made a mistake from jumping from the cb bitshare to eth chain. he guessed that was the transaction...while bitshare gatekeeper keep a exact hash of the transaction that the withdrawal is made... why did he had to guess and not take the gatekeeper hash
big mistake !!!! but everybody see a few blockchain links posted and it becomes scriptures.
in place of seeing the blatant mistake yannick made in his chain analysis.
people that believed yannick deserved to have sold their alqo at loss.
sorry no bad feeling for dumpers or for fuders
I proof in 50 Transactions that Kevin hacked them. Hmm i dont know could be wrong?
Random dude (perhaps kevin twink) appear "no its wrong" and everyone believe it?
Would u see a live video from Kevin Collmer stealing money u would simple false flag this as "it could be a bad twin or similar looking dude". Your investment bleed your mind.

Lets not make this complex. It is as simple as this:
1. The ALQO team knows who they did the OTC trade , if this is not done by the ALQO team themselves
2. They can reveal the OTC trader and file the necessary reports
If anyone claims there is a mistake in the blockchain analysis they should show it with details instead of just making a statement. Talk is cheap evidence is better.
Anyways all the best again. Check back in April to see if the beta is actually delivered.
When will the ALQO team address how Liberio works? Red flags everywhere with this project.

My toughts about it
Lets look at the team:
Why would a team that is public known, have a registered company and spends thousands of Euro of their own private money to steal openly coins from their users and risking all the legal and reputational consequences?
Why would a a team sell now and not when the dust is settled or when the price is a lot higher than selling at 1-3 cents (e. g. like coinsmarkets did)?
Why would a a team which huge technical knowledge to be so stupid and withdraw to ethereum and using the same ether address twice (otc trader and hacker) when even the stupidest newbie could figure it out by looking at the crypto-bridge contract address? Could it be that the hacker/otc trader tries to frame someone?
The team always stated, that the dev fee is sold otc. Even Yannick (Yannick17.07.2018 Dev fees are sold OTC) told us that on discord and is telling us now that he tried to buy OTC. Why would that out of the sudden not be valid anymore.
Lets look at yannick:
Yannick is one of the main perma ALQO Fuddster and is fudding over months.
He Fudds on his twitter, reddit and other channels and is active on the ALQO Scam twitter channels.
He was part in an inofficial,
secret, Anti ALQO
Discord channel. Normal ALQO users did not know of the excistence of this channel. He planed and executed hacks of Jared private accounts (CEO of ALQO) on this secret, anti alqo discord server. Other people were involved, too. Who knows what these people did there else. So apparently he might have some hacking skills. There is a screenshot and he admitted it on a twitter conversation. (see twitter link below)
He is one of the most aggressive fuddsters, fudding over months and thinks ALQO is scam, but he hold over 267000 coins according to him on a twitter conversation on 14.03.2019 (see twitter link below). It does not make sense to hold more than 267000 coins and think ALQO is scam without having a hidden agenda. (He may or may not have sold that in the meantime)
He just wrote that he tried to buy all of the dev funds a couple of months before via OTC. Maybe he was successful in the meantime.
https://twitter.com/denk_christian/status/1106401036841832448
There is one thing for sure, that we know nothing sure. Everyone could be the hacker/otc trader.
There is still the possiblility that these alleged hacks are a FUD campaign since people could have easily organized them on the secret, Anti ALQO Discord channel and all of the hacked people did not have activated 2fA (which is available over 5 monhts). On the other side, many of these people who claimed to be hacked were never Fuddsters before,
so my personal guess is that this scenario would be unlikely and that the hacks are real.
I hope that that the ALQO team works together with the people affected by the hack and founds a solution with them together.
From me on reddit with some updates:
The analysis itself looks good investigated and if i am not mistaken, was originally made by another person. I am no blockchain expert though to make any proper conclusion. The accusing part from Yannick the perma Fudder is stupid though. Let the team and people affected from the hack investigate, before pointing fingers.
From Emil on Discord: They are actively looking into addressing the Kraken problem, but it includes lawyers so it is not resolved overnight.
From Emil on the Discord: Jared never had a Kraken account, and Kevin are doing the Kraken investigation.
From emil on Discord: not anyone specific yet. Digging into a matter like this just requires a higher authority. We're dealing with someone who has completely KYC (as far as I know), so that's what's being looked into.
Hopefully the hacker gets caught.
