Can this support custodial smart contracts, MPC (multi party computation) wallet on the native chain and the bridge to any layer 2 with brc-20 and runes support. To make brc 20 mirrored on the btc2, like create a support for any brc20 / 420 through locking the assets into a smart contract and issuing a wrapped token to traded them on chain. Also native staking and create the market for all them tokens, btc-style. That should be easy.
BRC20, runes and smart contracts on the BTC chain, and therefore BTC2 are wasteful IMO. That's what Ethereum, Solana etc. are better suited for. BTC2 can't aim to be everything IMO, but anyone who wants to work on such support on their own can. BTC2 was created for payments and with the idea that no L2 is required for it, and that's true regardless of how popular BTC2 becomes so long as BTC2 doesn't have such complicated transactions. |

New 3rd party block explorer from the Pecunia team for BTC2: https://btc2.forsa.net/They are also working on a BTC2 mobile wallet which might already work but until the source code is public and checked it'd be too risky to try their wallet. |

You may now use Caldera as an automated middle man for OTC trades at 💱otc-trades in our Discord channel at https://discord.gg/nKWxnXV - between BTC2 and BTC/ETH/USDT/BUSD etc. It is an easy to use Discord bot. They take 2.5% from each side as a commission. Same risks as with any smaller exchange, but trades are quick to land in your wallet and you don't need an account at any exchange to use it.

Yes there will, but as we are now working part-time instead of full-time like before, they come slower unless/until there's more traction/users/volume that can help support full-time work. So perhaps now more focus will go towards things that bring traction/users/volume faster. We can work part-time for free or even at a loss, full-time requires a bit better than that. |

What are the requirements for masternodes now? What is the reward per block now and when will be halving? Thanks for any answer.
No more halvings coming. Masternode still requires 1000 BTC2 as always. Reward per block is 0.15 BTC2 for staker. 0.05 BTC2 for masternode. But masternodes to date have always earned more due to more frequent rewards. Current yield: Masternode: 17.29% Staking BTC2: 8.65% |

Hello jacklezz, long time no see! it's been a long time that i'm not visiting these thread, Im glad to see that the project is striving very hard even the level of competition are rising in the crypto realm, I just want to give my best GOOD LUCK to Bitcoin 2.

Hi all! Question to the developers, are there any new exchanges planned? As far as I know crex does not work.
True, but BTC2 is still listed in 3 other exchanges that do work so the next step, unless something changes significantly, is to upgrade rather than add an option. There's some steps being taken behind the scenes towards a fiat gateway which leads me to think that it could come before another traditional exchange listing, and a higher tier exchange listing is of course aimed for as well. However we're not planning to negotiate for a hasty listing in another mediocre exchange. |

Our DNS seeder nodes have been upgraded so anyone who recently had trouble connecting to the Bitcoin 2 network on a new installation/node, won't have that trouble anymore.

What about the roadmap? Will anything be done this year?
Made progress on all of it and all of it will be released at the same time for public testing most likely. Not yet sure how soon is that. |
