1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Trading Bot with 136 exchanges available!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: May 10, 2020, 04:45:23 PM
Hi guys! I’m owner of gunbot for couple of years now, but I never manage to make it work. I have always a same problem, bot wants to buy, but it doesn’t and when it does buy it doesn’t want to sell ever. days go buy and bot’s not selling, price fluctuate like 10% and bot just “waiting to sell”
So my question is, is there any user friendly strategy where i can just plug and play to make it work?

It is hard bot to use and requires lots of time to study. Maybe marketplace (as CryptoDROI) mentioned is good place to start. Usually buy and hold is much more effective strat Cheesy
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A Man, A Dream and a 4MW Facility. My journey setting this badboy up on: October 09, 2019, 06:13:12 PM
Yes, setting these up aint cheap and there is costs to run facility like this so i think 10c is pretty good price. In europe its usually 10-11c(euro) /kwh

Ya 10.  Some peeps have cheaper and that's cool.  My rate is higher because of location but I have also spent tons on making it correct and filtered.  It's an expensive mining facility, but it is done correctly.  Not a clean room, but all air is filtered.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A Man, A Dream and a 4MW Facility. My journey setting this badboy up on: September 25, 2019, 10:16:09 AM
Nevada has 4 cents industrial rate.  What rate are you paying in your location if you don't mind me asking?

I would like to someday move my rigs out from the colo which im paying 8 cents for to something thats more like 4 cents or cheaper and rent or own out a facility.  I'll need another crypto bull run like in 2017 in order to pull this off comfortably.

I have 36 nvidia cards a mix of 1070ti/1080ti  and 11 asics.

If you had to do this all over again? Would have you preferred to buy coins and not deal with all this work instead or actually still setup a mining facility.?

I sell it at 75$ a kw

I don't buy coins, and I am a born miner so no, i would not buy coins.  That being said there is a giant upside to that as you dont need a facility for that  Tongue

so you use the room in that place?
like a good idea by reviving the mining business at this time.
Hope everything goes well . if in my country I can give electricity licensing like a country and maybe I have made it here too.
good luck sir

I am capable of going to 12mw so if i went to that yes i would use about 20K square foot.  Thanks!

75$ for kw is cheap i think. its like 10c /kwh correct? In europe its mostly 6-8c/kwh (euro) at this moment and hard to get any cheaper..
4  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: EU Mining Farm under costruction on: September 11, 2019, 12:05:51 PM
Yes I think for big players its more like 5c/kwh at least USA,China,Canada. I think Europeans are used to pay bit more tho, at least in North Europe where political and climate are good for cryptos but things cost a lot. At least for me, i would rather send my miners to EU area than USA (im north Europe based).

Would be nice to get update of the project, cheers!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My Situation: Mining LTC now and After Halving. Looking like meh! Take Poll! on: August 15, 2019, 06:52:56 PM
Yes not easy to find under 8c kWh in europe either. Scandinavia we running 6.5c/kWh (euro and summertime) and no VAT need to pay from orders that comes outside EU when you make order as company but if you dont have company then you need to pay VAT of course.. Anyway hard times indeed for many of us miners... North Russia have some cheap places, but Russia is always big questionmark.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to network 500+ rigs and control all of them? on: August 06, 2019, 06:46:58 PM
Also for large farmer, how are you networking your farm?

Running about 300 devices farm (mixed asic and gpu). Since this size farm is not big enough to start developing own software i would go with Hiveos or Awesomeminer. Someone mentioned already multiple subnets, thats one option and pretty easy to create with any good firewall (Sophos, Fortigate etc). Although do you really need this one if you are using Hiveos? Only thing you are in that case interested is that you will find the rigs easily, correct? Im assuming you are building GPUs only so you could just usb hiveos all the rigs , label them so its easy to find when there is error / need reboot or so. Also this way you dont need to care about LAN side ip-address , you can just go with DHCP provided by firewall or server if u like it more.

Also i would NOT chain any network switches even it can be tempting. Depending on your setup, get 24 or 48port switches and put cables to "main switch/switches" so in case some switch gets broken , overheated whatever it doest cut network from others.

Edit. and if you go with one big subnet, remember to create it big enough.. for example:

172.16.0.0/20 (mask 255.255.240.0) , you would end up with over 4000 free ip-addresses

Current state is still very bad to be honest, but its in beta so its "allowed". I would not buy until get some real results or ETA/roadmap for final release.
I wouldn't say very bad but it has come a long way. Solving the problems with how Triangular Arbitrage works in exchanges are hard and the developers of BitRage has come up with something unique to solve it and polishing is what is needed. I hope you get to check it soon once it has been released. Don't forget to contact me, I could hook you up fast if you are ready to buy.

Its hard work indeed and needs time agree Smiley. Will contact you if decide to get it sooner or later thank you!

There has been a significant improvement with BitRage and it’s near release!

You could already be part of the official group if you order now! Will be willing to support you in setting up.

After several time i have spent on reading info and theory i have some questions about this product.
I have 0.127 btc to invest, rest from the bot price will be onlu 0.027 btc. How many time (hypotetically) occurs to return my investment?
Could anyone post some progress in a short time (2-3 months) ?
Thanks in advance
Depends on you and the market. Averaging 1% a day is possible, but you got to know what you're doing.

Hard question with no right answer but here is small review from very noob trader. Im pure IT guy but little bit of knowledge in trading.

Community is mostly good and help people out, helped me many times.
Price is not that bad, but as said you need to make that 0.1btc back and with basic ready made (and easy to start with) strategies it is not easy.
I have been using bot for ~4months and have I made any money? Yes because of the market, i would have made more money just by hodling BTC, but as we know BTC been very strong lately.
Start with ready made strats and with only few pairs to keep it simple and clear (maybe some professional user have better ideas)

So for noob like me who dont want to put too much time on trading its OK tool, but so is HODL or manual trading, so not 100% sure is it worth the price.

But yes would nice to see have professional traders made any money with this Smiley.

Cheers!

Hi

I have noticed problem with few of my miners when running administrator mode (required by latest claymore miner) that miner wont start and tells "normal" error:

Failed to start miner process
1. security or antivirus softaware can detect....
2. use diagnostic button....

Without administrative marked in Managed Miner Properties / Environment miner works OK. Any ideas why this is happening only on some miners (All Windows 10).

Cheers!
Can you please send me log file via the toolbar Tools -> Log File menu. If you use Remote Agent, please provide the Remote Agent log file, otherwise the Awesome Miner log file. Please send via mail or link in PM. Thanks!

Can you also check if "IntelliBreeze Software Maintenance Service" is running in the Windows Services dialog? You can access it via Start menu ->Run: services.msc

Thank you for quick reply and Service was not running, started it and all works now! Big thanks once again Patrike Smiley

Hi? -strap option work with P104-100 cards?

Im just testing currently also.. ~39mhs but not sure is it because of straps since i think this card can get ~40mhs with only overclocking

Hi!

Since latest Claymore eth miner requires to run with admin rights (if using strap options) what is the right way to do this with AM?

Cheers
RsvTu
You can right click on a miner and select Properties. In the Environment section you will find a setting to run the mining process with Administrator privileges.

Great, thank you man!

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Saphire RX 570 16GB seems to be on preorder on: February 01, 2019, 10:47:04 AM
I have to say, its weird and bullish decision from Sapphire to go with card like this on the times where basicly you need to have ~5cnt /kwh to mine profitable. Nice to see tho, but im not sure who are buying these currently. Maybe bigger players who have access to very cheap electricity

Can CONFIRM that mining C29 on Linux with P104-100 4GB GPUs works!

Thank you developer! You did an amazing job of creating compatibility for the 4GB mining cards. Keep up the great work. Smiley

What linux u using? anyone tried p104 with hive os?

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Mining (Cuckoo Cycle) on: January 23, 2019, 02:11:53 PM
is there any faster miner for grin and AMD then GGM?
have you tried any of the bminer builds?

Does it support Grin with AMD (rx500 or vega series) cards? I think it says it supports AMD overall but not sure about grin?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 8th Alt coin thread. Or what to do now that asics are all over the place. on: January 01, 2019, 03:13:36 PM
I live in Sweden, where we right now have the HIGHEST electricity price since 2008. I pay around 0.4dollars/kwh. There is no way mining will ever be profitable for me again unless we go on really long bull market  Grin

Residential electricity? Industrial electricity is pretty cheap I heard, around the hydro dams.

In your neighbour Finland situation for Industrial electricity is worse because of the tax. Currently we are running around 0.075€ /kwh, for industrial rate in here you need to have 5MW minimum consumption and then the "discount" would be 1.5snt/kwh so for us it would be then around 0.06€/kwh. In sweden basicly all companies get industrial rate so if u run as company its easier, althought because of dry summer (at least they use this explanation) energy prices seems to be up indeed..
